How To Create a GAMEPASS Button | Roblox Studio Guide

hello guys and welcome to a new Roblox Studio tutorial today's video we're going to be covering how to add a Game Pass GUI into your game so first thing we want to make sure we have is the explore and properties enabled if not you want to go up to the top bar here click on view and then explore and properties they should both show up somewhere over your screen Next Step you want to do is head over to the starter GUI and add a screen GUI it should pop up here if not you can just search it up inside of the screen GUI we're then going to insert a frame and then for this Frame you can make this basically the size of your whole screen here this is basically going to be the main kind of control for the visibility of this Frame so we can set the transparency of it to zero so you can't see it click the plus icon next to the frame and then we're going to insert a text button or you can do an image button both work but for today's tutorial we're going to use a text button so you can put it somewhere on your screen here I'm going just put it right there where GUI normally are and inside of this we are going to add a UI corner and then a UI stroke we're actually going to add two UI Strokes you do not need to do this but I'm just doing this just to make it look much better the corner we set this to 70 so you can see it makes a gives it it gives it beveled beveled edges and then for the UI stroke we'll make it border thickness make it a little bit bigger there and then here we'll go to the text here and edit [Music] this if you're adding a UI stroke into the text button make sure you're changing whether this says contextual or border this will change whether it goes onto the outside or around the actual text we want it on the text and we're going to make it just a little bit thicker next thing we have to do is just click the plus icon next to the text button and insert a local script once you open up the local script you want to make sure you remove the thing that says print hello up here I think it says so you want to remove that and then insert this code this code will be in the description um it should just be called Script or something so it should be just there so you're given a few things here all you need to change is just this number these numbers here this you just want to set to your game pass asset ID so to make a Game Pass all you want to do is go into your Creations experiences click the three dots next to the experience you want to add the pass to hit uh create badge and then scroll a little bit over here to passes on the left hand side here and then hit create a pass once you hit create pass you can change the picture that will show up once you once you have the pass and then you can change the name and then the description this is just an example from another game but once you've created the pass it should show up here in your passes and the Creations hit the three dots next to it and hit copy asset ID once you've copied your asset ID you then want to go back into Roblox Studio click on the local script and then change this number to the Game Pass asset ID that you have now made once you have it copied down do not write down this one otherwise if you buy the item robox will be Roo will be given to me and I'm sure you guys don't want that so once that is number set in you can then close out of the script and then you can test [Music] it as you see we're into the game we're now going to press Game Pass and then for us it is going to say you already own this item your account has not been charge that is because we are I mean we made the pass so we're automatically going to have it we do not need to buy the pass cuz we made it so that pretty much wraps it up for the video If you guys enjoyed please like comment and subscribe and let me know what else I should post should I post more scripting videos more uh building videos or just game development just let me know in the comments down below yeah that was how to add a Game Pass GUI into your Roblox game have a good one guys goodbye
