How To Change The WALKING SOUND For Players | Roblox Studio Guide

hello guys welcome back to a new Roblox Studio tutorial in today's video I'm going to be teaching you how to basically change the walking sounds of your character so you can basically make this sound like it's on grass or on wood you can basically make it whatever so yeah let's get started so as per usual in all my tutorials we're going to to make sure that when we go to view explore and properties are enabled once that's done we can actually just start the game and then once you're in the game you can see that we have nothing in here but you're going to want to go to starter player starter player scripts and then the RBX character sounds you're going to want to right click it and then copy them once those are copied you then you can then uh stop the game once you're out you can then go to starter player hit the uh arrow and then go to starter player scripts right click it and then hit paste into once that is pasted you can then double click on it and then you do not need to worry about anything else that is up here that is down here sorry we are not going to be touching any it only thing we are looking at is the Running part so basically if you want to change the sound of this all you have to do is where it says RBX asset you want to put the letters ID after that after it and then you can remove everything in between the two uh slashes to the quotation mark so you can remove that and then then I'll show you what to do next you then obviously want to have the uh walking sound that you want so once you're on the page for it you want to go to the top here copy these numbers and then we can go back into Roblox Studio once we're back we're then going to paste it right where we deleted the other uh letters there so as you see it's just going to look something like this and then that's pretty much it so we're going to hit play here we're going to test it out so as you can hear I mean the sound has changed so if You' like to customize it some more you can then uh double click it again and then as you see there's a looped then there's uh also pitch this um you can change so if we want the pitch to basically be gone we do not need to have the pitch there we're going to go like that and then hit play and as you see it's much deeper sound sometimes when you use someone else's like walking sound it might be a little too quiet so you can actually press enter here and then it's pretty simple so you can just do volume equals and then we'll do 0.5 and then you want to add a comment or else it will not um the script will not go further than the 0.5 it'll just stop and it'll mess up so that was a pretty simple one again uh if yall like that one I would appreciate if youall liked and subscribed and um comment down below what you guys want me to upload whether it be more scripting videos um maybe game building videos yeah just anything just let me know and uh anyways I'll see you guys later and have a good one bye
