this is a quick overview of how to capture a PDF file and get it into your Microsoft Word document for your lesson plans so that you can embed those worksheets into your lesson plans without having to attach separate pages or whatever you're also welcome to upload separate PDF files if that works better for you you'll get a clearer image and it'll be easier for someone to make a copy of it but for the purposes of this unit just attaching the page to the word document is just fine so for this example I've found web worksheet on beginning blends on education comm I downloaded the worksheet and then it appears in this window now this page won't help me at all so I had to click the download button and I saved it to my desktop so here you can see that I saved it here it is on my desktop when I go to my desktop and I open it up my computer is set to have it open up in my Adobe Acrobat Reader DC this is the free version of Adobe Acrobat there's a similar version on Mac I work on a PC though so here's my page and I want to include this in my word document so the easiest way to do that is to go to edit take a snapshot now I can either if this is a multiple page document the way I'll need to do this is to grab it like this I use my mouse to drag I go to the end of the page now it's captured the selected area has been copied so I click OK I open my word document which would be my lesson plan and I would just paste that onto the last page my lesson plan I go here I right-click and I paste and there is how you get your PDF file to go into your lesson plan let me know if you have any more questions
