How to convert Microsoft Word to PDF [2023]

welcome back to our Channel in today's video I'm going to show you how to convert Microsoft Word documents to PDF this is a handy skill to have especially if you need to share your files in a format that's universally compatible and can't be easily edited so let's Dive Right In first make sure you have Microsoft Word installed on your computer open the word document you want to convert to PDF as you can see I have a sample Word document open here with some sample paragraphs it has several pages to convert it to PDF go to the file tab at the top left corner of the word window in the file menu click on the option that says save as in the Savers dialog box navigate to the location on your computer where you want to save the PDF file next give your PDF file a name make sure it's something descriptive so that you can easily identify it later now in the save as type drop down menu select PDF as the file format before we click on Save let's take a moment to customize the PDF settings to do that click on the options button in the save as dialog box here you can choose whether you want to optimize the file size enable accessibility options or include document properties feel free to explore these options based on your needs once you're done click ok now that everything is set let's save the word document as a PDF file simply click on the save button in the save as dialog box and just like that Microsoft Word converts your document to PDF format to make sure the conversion was successful let's open the PDF file and check as you can see our Word document is now a PDF file ready to be shared with others without the risk of any content being altered and that's it converting Microsoft Word documents to PDF is really straightforward just follow these steps and you'll be able to create PDFs in no time I hope you found this tutorial helpful if you did don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to our channel for more Tech tips and tutorials thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next video
