an ACS sim file isn't an actual ebook it stands for Adobe content server manager and it's more of a digital rights management tool than an actual ebook so in order to use it you're first going to need to download the Adobe Digital Editions program now if you've never downloaded it you can go to the link in our resources section of this article right here and that will take you to the program that you can download and install and then you'll be able to open up these files for instance now this is my ACSM file and if i double click on it it's going to open right up into dobby digital editions now all i need to do is log in make sure you select your Adobe ID and then log in with your Adobe credentials click authorize take a second and then click OK now it's going to automatically download your PDF and there you go you're a CSM file is now a PDF and you can transfer it to your digital ebook reader or just read it right on your computer
