How to Configure Multiple SSIDs & Multiple Subnets on DrayTek Vigor Access Points

hey everyone this video demonstrates how to set up your access point with multi SSID we can setup multi SSID to separate wireless lines to different subnets here in this example EP connecting to a router has multiple subnets and it is passing traffic via trunk port we will configure it be nine hundred and bigger twenty eight sixty one by one so let's configure bigger 2860 first connect weaker 2860 to a computer open your web browser and log in to Vega 2860 here we'll configure for length subnets with network address 192 168 1.0 2.0 3.0 and 4.0 all with subnet mask 255 255 255 dot zero to configure LAN one go to LAN general setup click on details page enter IP address subnet mask and DHCP configuration similarly we need to configure land to land three and land for at this stage router does not allow to configure remaining length subnet as they are enacted to make them add to will go to LAN VLAN configuration enable VLAN will use port six as a trunk port hence it will be part of all the villains now select LAN subnet and a VLAN ID under VLAN tag now let's allocate remaining ports here we will keep remaining port under VLAN for as untagged click ok to save the settings after router restarts log into the router again and go to land general setup and configure remaining land subnets for that first a number line to line three and land for now check IP subnet mask and DHCP settings for land 2 and change if required similarly check Len 3 and land for now we'll configure access point connect EP 900 to a computer you will need to use static IP to a computer to access EP 900 as DHCP server is inactive by default now go to LAN general setup and disable DHCP clacked ensure that DHCP server is turned off so that all IP addresses will be assigned by bigger 2816 only then go to wireless LAN general setup enable wireless LAN uncheck enable to subnet option and configure for V lines with different VLAN ID as set on the router enter a society name for them now go to wireless LAN security for each SSID select an authentication won't WP algorithm and enter passphrase click okay to save also set key renewal interval two three six double zero if not set both devices quicker 28 60 and EP 900 are now configured we will connect LAN port number six of 28 62 EP 900 through a network key cook now we will test the setup from laptop go to wireless and try to connect a society one by one and check IP addresses wireless client getting IP address according to the SSID it connects to hence only one line physical connection between router and EP can pass the traffic for all we lens you can also enable inter land routing under land general setup to allow communication among covalence thank you for watching the video for more information you can go to WWE to copy you or send us an email to cells at red commie you
