How To Compress PDF File Size On iPhone - Full Guide

in this video I'll show you how to compress the PDF file size on an iPhone if you find this guide useful please consider subscribing and once you've done that please consider leaving a like and let's get right into this guide the first thing you need to do is make sure you've got the PDF file saved your files app on your iPhone so for example if you've got a PDF in an email which you want to go and drink um I've got one here all you need to do is go and tap on the PDF like so and it's then going to open up the file and then what you need to do is go and tap on the share button in the bottom left and then the share menu will appear and what you need to do is just scroll down then as you can see we've got this option to go and save to file so go and tap on save to files like so and then you can choose where you want to go and save it so I'll just save it onto my iPhone like so and tap save and just go and press replace and that's it now what we need to do is go and open up your web browser now what you need to do is just go and open up a web browser so in this case I'll just use Safari but you can use any you'd like and here we are and then what you need to do is go and tap on the URL bar because we need to go to a specific website the website I like to go and use to go and compress PDS it's called I love PDF just go and type it in like so and then go and tap on go and it's going to take them up to load and here we are ilovepdf.com and wait for it to load then what you need to do is scroll down and as you can see we've got this option here for compressed PDF tap on compressed PDF now what you need to do is go and tap on select PDF files and your file explorer will then open and as you can see here is the file which I want to go and Shrink is called convert the one I literally just saved then I'm going to tap open in the top left like so and it's now uploaded it and if you want you can also go and upload more PDFs you'd like to go and Shrink as well and do it all at once but in this case I've just got the single one then what you need to do is tap on compress PDF in the bottom right and it's now actually compressing it and that's it as you can see it now says your PDF is 23 smaller and the amount that the PDF is ranked is all going to vary on the PDF and what's actually in it but anyways now let's go into it back onto our device tap on download compress PDF and it's going to go and open it up in a new tab and then all you need to do to go and save it back to your phone Instagram tap on the share button right in the middle with the square with the Arrow coming out of it like so and as you can see at the top it says PDF document all you need to do is scroll down and then we've got the option to save to file so go and tap on it and then I'm going to go and say this in my downloads folder so I'll then go and press save just like so and it's now going to save it so then you can go and open up your files app by swiping across to your files and in the top left is the original one called convert and that's 37 kilobytes if I go to my downloads in the top right is the one I just compressed and as you can see that's 28 kilobytes and they're exactly the same and that's it guys
