if your refrigerator is not cooling i will tell you effective ways to check your refrigerator and revive the refrigerator cooling the first situation is when your refrigerator is not cooling it must be kept in a ventilated area in your home whether it's your room kitchen etc we have kept this refrigerator in a ventilated area and it has had no cooling issues it should be at a distance from the wall the gap must be one foot max and a minimum of nine inches so that air can circulate through the fridge on both sides then see the refrigerator has a condenser and a compressor on its back so it would be best if you cleaned all these areas of the fridge because the dust affects the refrigerator's cooling clean the evaporator with a brush as i am doing clean the compressor area as well now i will tell you two ways to check your refrigerator if it is not cooling and you will need no such tool for checking it move your refrigerator a little forward and the condenser you are seeing you will have to touch the condenser from the top what will be the way of touching it first you will have to feel whether the condenser is too hot or not to prevent your hand from burning out because if the condenser is overheating then your hand can burn out see this fridge is normal and it is working perfectly it is hot when i touch the condenser from the right side and when i touch the left side of the condenser it is much cooler than the right side what does this mean see this is the discharge side so this must be hot and as the refrigerant will pass forward so this side will be cooler than the other side of the condenser otherwise if this is not happening the refrigerator has a problem i will show you what temperature we have here now let's talk about its compressor how will you check its compressor by hand the procedure is the same touch the compressor gradually and if your hand stays on the compressor for two to three seconds it means the compressor temperature is normal and it is working fine then the fault could be somewhere else now a sensor using masking tape i have attached to the compressor this sensor is of the thermometer the thermometer shows 57.8 degree temperature of the compressor this means this fridge is working under the control condition of course the compressor must be heated this much but if it is not heated this much or is colder than this the compressor's chance of burning out is 100 now i have attached the thermometer probe with the compressor's discharge pipe and its temperature is 70 degrees celsius and when the discharge temperature is this high the refrigerator works fine so now as i move forward toward the condenser it is almost three feet distance only and see i have attached the thermometer sensor here which you can see and the thermometer shows 47 degrees celsius temperature and see the temperature has a lot of difference in just three feet distance now we see the temperature i am getting is 41.3 degrees i am checking the temperature with the filter where this liquid line is attached after getting colder through the condenser the refrigerant then goes to the filter and i am showing the temperature of the pipe before the filter so the temperature must be approximately 42 degrees which i am getting here these thermometers are easily available in the market if everything is fine in your refrigerator and still not cooling now i will tell you a diy method to help you solve your refrigerator cooling problem for that you will use a fan motor see i have bought some of these fans this fan is a regular computer fan which works on 12 volts of electricity this will not work as its blow will be low now see this it is an ac fan motor as our fridge works on 220 volts of electricity this fan motor is also the same so you will be able to install it with the fridge easily now let me tell you where to install this fan with the fridge the refrigerator comes with different types of condensers let me show you their photos and i will install the fan motor with a condenser the fan should be installed in front of the condenser as you can see the pipes i am showing you which is its in point this pipe has cold liquid gas present on these pipes and i need to cool this area of the refrigerator with the fan and i will try to install the fan upwards to cool down this condenser area and when you have installed the fan attach the pro bear to see what the temperature was before and now and try experiencing cooling down the compressor with the fan motor see what difference is made here on this pipe so when you install the fan on the condenser you will see that the refrigerator performance will be boosted and it will start cooling better the return gas in the refrigerator cools the compressor and when the compressor is already and if the liquid refrigerant travels to the compressor in an excess amount it will damage the compressor now a question is raised here why is it important for the compressor to be hot the cool gas comes through this pipe and when it enters the compressor due to being already heated the liquid gas converts into vapors and this way it maintains its temperature and the chances of the compressor burning out also finishes and the compressor also cools the refrigerator efficiently
