How To Change Your Keypad Pin Code On A Liftmaster Garage Door

[Music] [Applause] hey guys welcome to the video today in today's video i'm going to show you how to change the pin code on your liftmaster keypad for your garage door and this isn't too hard of a process i'm going to take you through it step by step shortly we're going to go over to the garage door wall control panel in this video we're gonna change the pin code to one two three four which is not a secure pin code and i don't recommend using it it would be too easy for somebody to guess their way into your garage use something more secure that only you and your family know okay let's head over to the garage door wall control panel all right guys this is the garage door control panel and this cover here just lifts right up and underneath it there's a button that says learn but before we do anything with that button you want to make sure that your neighbors or anybody else around is not using their garage door remote once you hit the learn button two times if somebody near your garage door uses their garage door remote it may accidentally program it to your garage door which you don't want because then they'd be able to open your garage door with their garage door remote so let's go ahead and hit the learn button here twice and head back out to the keypad all right guys so this is where we enter the code so we're going to enter one two three four and then we're gonna hold down the enter button until we see the garage door motor unit blink and we'll hear two clicks all right guys so before we shut the garage door and test this out make sure that you have your garage door opener handy just in case the code didn't work you still have another way to get into your garage but let's go ahead and shut the garage door and test this out and see if it worked all right guys well there it is it worked so i hope you like this video i hope you learned something from it please like subscribe and comment and thank you so much for watching and i hope to see you guys in the next video have a good one thank you guys for watching please like subscribe and comment and if you have the time check out these other great videos
