so you might be seeing this error in your Android Studio that says you require a specific Java version to run and you are currently using a different Java version so let's see how we can change our Java version and build our project again first go to your Android Studio click on file and click on settings so as you can see here click on build execution and deployment go down to build tools and click on Gradle here you will see all the Java version that are listed in your system so as you can see I have a few that is 2017 and 17.6 and so on so if the supported Java version is installed like 11 or anything else that you have in your system so just click on it and click ok and your Android Studio will use that jdk version to build the project if you don't have a specific and Java version let's say you want Java 20 or something and it is not listed here what you can do is you just download the dial version and install it and then it will be listed here so you can see how to install a specific Java version by clicking on the link in the description below if you have any questions let me know in the comments below
