How to catch catfish

you so basically this is my rig here for catfishing one of the rig's I usually used to this is the first one right now I'm using the three ounce weight because the creek is flooded a bead swivel and a five on octopushy the way I do this may seem a little strange to you but for me it's easier first that's high on this level using a Palomar knife because I use braid all right now I got a sixty film spooled on and it's a medium action rod I'm going to do is I'm going to cut this sometime on to the end don't ask me it's just easier fine so I got about a 14 inches here put that a son so then goes the wait the beam and then this woman and the reason they have the bead on is to keep the weight from over running the swivel and on to the hook and the reason I put a swivel on is because when the catfish grabs the bait they have a tendency to roll or spin and it twists up the line school what keeps it from happening is that's what I call it a swivel so again it's a Palomar knot the whole thing through down trim it and then you get this loosen and then you're going to tie your hook the five octopus and again follow my note and the reason I use the polymer not is because I use braid and the braid has a tendency to slip oh we're not isn't at the break so that's it ministry good to go made it up catch some fish okay so this is the second drug I use very basic and simple and I use it basically I have terminal tackle swivels and stuff fishing down here in Texas she gets snagged on everything Southeast Texas so basically it's a Palomar knot this is a music Bank way this one is 2 ounce that's what I got so this one you're going to tie a Palomar knot but it's going to be further up the line you're going to leave some line for the hook just tie that sucker own so you got your weight and then you got volume lift for your hook Oh more not once I say some other not is going to get polymer so you get your wait I always bring with me a couple of baits I'll bring just one because they might be might be fishing with hot dogs or whatever and you don't get a bite and then you just switch the bait and bam I usually bring a chicken livers that secret seven muddy river catfishing chicken liver Chum bait eyes a mouthful but they're all pretty good stuff and if you're not catching on one and switch it up to another one and if you've switched it up and still aren't catching them move all right so you can do the little booties or liver bags but I think it's too much work and this is the way I did this is just that stretch net you get Medical goes over wounds fingers little hands so you just stretch it out cheap piece of liver wrap it up like an egg roll kind of hope that that will hold it on hook that a good thing with the chicken livers just a cheesecloth basically any fabric that's wholly stretchable then when this stuff gets wet it tends to not really melt but become a total mess so it's gonna make more of a pain in here but I'll say but and basically you just just like the other stuff you just wrap it up bate that on the hook and that suckers not gonna come off you can fling it as far as you as far as you want for your dipping baits you can find a little contraptions this thing is a predict bait cost two dollars for two the dollar pop not too fond to that or you can again just take this stretchy bone let's cut you off of these by a big and book that's okay then dip it in your bait get it all nice and saturated there you go and the thing is when you don't have a fishing rod holder if you're just gonna lay it down on the ground don't lay it down facing the water there's one that if you catch a big catfish and he like takes off he's just going to pull your hole right into the water if you lay it at a 90 degree angle he's got to pull it all just 90 degrees before it hits the water and you have a better chance of catching the pole everybody Galia fat not bad bad at all okay we go here we go here we go here we go thank you the other way shut up and sit down small turtles
