How to Catch a Leprechaun ☘️ St Patricks Day Read Aloud

[Music] you've got to ask yourself a question oh are you talking to me are you who who are you talking to dude you feel lucky well i mean i generally feel like i'm a pretty lucky do you feel lucky oh i do technically want me to ask you that because i feel like i'm pretty lucky uh as dinosaurs go he's being very dramatic today yeah green bear sometimes has his moments so do you want to help me learn how to catch a leprechaun oh oh oh yes yes yes yes i want to learn how to catch a leprechaun oh yes that will make me feel definitely very lucky all right let's do it then how to catch a leprechaun because there's a guide for everything in life and we are here to help guide you through life and who doesn't need a little bit of luck of the irish right here we go ah and you can see i picked this book up at the library how to catch a leprechaun oh do i hear irish music in the air oh the leprechaun must be near the night is dark the streets are quiet saint patrick's day is near i tap my hammer so you'll know the leprechaun is here did you hear that it was a very soft hammer because the leprechaun is a very little guy i'll pull out all your laces put glitter in your hair oh no that'll come out never and when you walk around you'll see my gold coins everywhere oh wait where did that come from did you magic excuse me excuse me you'll never catch me in your trap but yes i'll make a scene i'll turn the whole place upside down your toilet will be green ooh green toilet that oh wait no that's not good uh let's see what wow like he painted it green the toilet is green and then the rubber duckies outside is that a clue look at that little clue oh glue cool little hands little hands little lucky leprechaun marks everywhere and oh somebody should you should really turn that water off before you flood the whole house house number one i'm going in really that's your trap i'm in and out without a doubt that one was a snap oh look at that they tried to catch them with ye old good old-fashioned mousetrap but mm-hmm too fast for that oh there's some lucky charms and oh a gold coin again wait where's those things coming from so strange and now i think it's getting worse a shoe box on a stick i'll dance a jig and still escape we leprechauns are quick oh look at that there he is and there's a box with a stick and oh i see you see what's happening here this kid who just came out of the wardrobe from narnia is waiting to pull and catch him but he's onto it also the moose looks shocked to be there another house i fixed your shoes they really were quite smelly i'll eat the nuts you left his bait and leave you with a full leave with a full belly uh oh he fixed the shoes by dunking them in the sink somebody's gonna have soggy feet in the morning now you're talking look at this it's dandelion tea but i'm too speedy for your trap this tea is mine for free ah so he grabbed his tea went on the run uh look at all those delicious sweets oh he got a bite look at that delicious chocolate looking one that looks like it has mickey ears and oh he got a bite of this one too and he's taking the tea and oh i guess he likes dandelion tea more gold coins look at that the gold coins just keep popping up everywhere like a sign up did you see him what is it strange i know you want my pot of gold that iron cage was clever but i've been alive 200 years you won't catch me ever well 200 years you can really become quite the escape expert and yeah kid you got outsmarted now you're getting fancy but i'll escape with twinkle toes it's a fancy pantsy dancy oh that's a lot of words what oh this is look at her she's using her unicorn as a as as a trap and she's gonna slingshot the the unicorn at him and and these all this oh these i guess these were the practice unicorns and there's a unicorn on the wall i guess oh another hole in the wall hole in the wall yeah i don't advise you using sharp unicorn horns because it's going to hurt somebody or at least the drywall it seems to me an engineer has helped with this design too but this little leprechaun is going to be just fine there he goes and oh there's dad with the blueprints i guess he was engineer because he's got the pens in the pocket that's a classic engineering style and uh there's the kid dad tried his best how to make stuff be a brain box first aid you're gonna need that now ireland appropriate uh they had a whole chart and a cat and scaring the mouse to run the trap to go around this thing and then the tea was swooshing here but no the bowling ball did not catch him thank goodness there's more coins that's amazing how he still has coins left after all that running around that he's done what did you see i wonder if it's the puppets your entire house is one big trap from the ceiling to the floor nice try indeed but soon enough i'll stroll right out to the door oh look at this it's a trap how do you know it's a trap because the sign says totally safe place for leprechauns how suspicious is that if you saw a sign that said totally safe place for kids and it was all weird and dark don't go no matter how many gold coins they throw at you so look at that this is like a super robot and they have satellite systems and drones with like i don't know sharp pencils on the ends the leprechaun begun 3 000 gave me quite a scare but without a four-leaf clover i won't be caught in there there he goes and that wow the leprechaun begone 3000 did some damage why on earth would you want a leprechaun to be gone i mean you want them to come you'll never catch this leprechaun impossible that's a fact unless one day a brilliant child designs the perfect trap but who will that child be [Music] the child could have brown hair could have blonde hair could have black hair could have red hair we just don't know but look at that they've got the plants they've got tools they're inventing things there's a cat which can only be helpful and and there's notebooks and they have erasers and they have glue and they have a map to remember when st patrick's day is better luck next year and that was how to catch a leprechaun not really because i think that we've all learned a lesson here i learned that leprechauns are very good at escaping and basically cannot be caught but are you feeling lucky well yeah i actually feel pretty lucky i do feel lucky well she said she did and i think i feel lucky also oh that's great then that means we don't actually technically need a leprechaun because we have our own luck we make our own look whoa he's so dramatic sometimes i know but i do like that idea that we make our own luck well kid i hope that you loved this kid time story time as much as i did oh did you see that i did i did you see where it came from no no no but i i did see a green thing go that way yes but what's that green thing green bear i do not know but maybe we should go check it out anyway okay we're gonna go check it out and see if if we call the
