hi there if you want to burn a subtitle into a video or a movie with your favorite font preferences to use it with the TV for example this is the right video for you I've searched the internet for a good and free program that will burn the subtitles with a custom font in size but I didn't find this method exactly it's so easy you need only VLC media player so let's get started first download and install VLC media player if you don't have it then make sure that you have the right subtitle for the video or the movie then name the subtitle file with the same name of the video when you open the video you should see the subtitle on the video but it isn't burned into the video yet which means that if I delete the subtitle it will not work on the video anymore next to change the font its color or size click on Tools menu then preferences or just press control + key choose subtitles from above in subtitle effects section you can change the font font size outline thickness color add a shadow or background and change the position after you finish click Save and check the result if there is nothing changed just close the video and open it again after you are sure about the result let's burn the subtitle into the video open media menu then choose convert we're safe we're just press ctrl + R press add and choose the video then click convert now choose the same settings that I will show you which I have tried and I'm pretty sure it's working if you want to change anything it may not work as expected click here then choose mp4 click the video codec tab then uncheck keep original video track and make the same settings change nothing in the resolution or filters tab move to audio codec tab check keep original audio track [Music] move - subtitles tab and check both subtitles and overlay subtitles on the video then click Save to choose the save location click browse and choose the location then save [Music] click start as you see now it's working on the video let's wait until it finishes [Music] the conversion time depends on the video size in your computer hardware [Music] okay it's done now we have two videos the original and the converted one to see the difference let's delete the subtitle file when you open the original video there is no subtitle because it needs the subtitle file to work [Music] vut but when opening the converted video we will see that the subtitle is burned and cannot be moved anymore [Music] finally I have to mention that this method is not only working with SRT subtitle files but it can work with a SS or SUV and more thank you for watching and see you next time [Music]
