How to Build an EASY Pot Still Condenser!

i might have gone just a little bit overboard [Music] this is my latest plumbing project called a liebig condenser it's composed of a central continuous pipe for the vapor path and that's half inch copper then it's surrounded by a one inch diameter copper pipe that acts as a water jacket with an inlet and an outlet or an in yeah an inlet and an outlet this is a very simple build it doesn't take much time it doesn't cost a whole lot and damn near everything is available at your local hardware store it's been a while since i built this but i think i couldn't find these at the store i'll put links for everything down in the video description and even though this isn't as fancy and attractive and compact as a shotgun condenser this will knock down the vapor from a standard keg still so it's got some junk like i said this one's pretty easy so let's just jump right into it [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so all that's left after that is to polish it up with some steel wool and if you want you can also get some tarnix or some other polish also a citric acid bath works really well just sprinkle some of this into a hot bathtub and throw this in and let it sit for a little while and it'll brighten it right up but make sure that anytime you build anything for a still that you always give it a vinegar cleaning run and a sacrificial alcohol run even if the rest of the still is already done but you're adding one new part just better safe than sorry go ahead and do those two steps if you don't know what i'm talking about check out my still head build right up here where i talk about it at the end of the video so i want to thank all my supporters over at patreon you guys are amazing and i really appreciate the enthusiasm for the latest thing that i posted over there my projects keep getting crazier and crazier but you guys keep validating me and telling me i'm doing cool stuff so hopefully this next one isn't too wacky but yeah thanks guys i really appreciate it couldn't be doing this without you so if you would like to find out what kind of weird stuff i'm gonna do before it ever shows up on my channel and chip in to support me and help me pay for all the weird stuff i do around here check out the link from a patreon page in the video description and swing on over there if you want to support the channel and get exclusive content that doesn't show up anywhere else so if you like this video if it helped you out if it was mildly entertaining do me a favor and hit the like button because it helps youtube to understand that you value this kind of content and it makes me feel better if you have any questions or comments put them down in the comments section down below if you are not subscribed to my channel you probably should be if you're enjoying this kind of content so hit the subscribe button down below and the little bell icon right next to it so you get notified whenever i post new content all right thanks for watching talk at you later [Music] [Music] you
