How to Build a SECRET BASE Under a Bed in Minecraft! (NO MODS!)

further ado guys I've done enough talking let me show you how you transform your bed into a sacred back now the minimum amount of space you guys are going to need to build at this secret base is marked out by the yellow and black concrete no it's not part of the build it's just so you guys can get an idea of the size of everything here so it's ten blocks long and it's five blocks wide across the base here now even though this is ten blocks long here guys you're going to need at least one two three four five blocks behind the wall of your house so if you imagine this is like the inside of your house guys you're going to need at least five blocks behind this wall to build all the contraptions to allow this you know secret hidden bed base to actually or work all right so now that you've got the space we're gonna need some items now you may notice we are missing something very important to this build it's the bed yes the bet that secret bed base we're probably going to need a bed so let's do that first for the first phase of our build guys we're going to need a one bed of your favorite color I'm using red because I'm an OG micro player if you guys are no Gina let me know in the comments down below as well we're also going to need one spruce wood stair one bookshelf to spruce trapdoors a flower pot a flower of your choice to go in the pot I'm using a blue orchid we're gonna need one chest one iron frame and then the least suspicious item you can think of in my head cooked beef is pretty not suspicious so we're going with that all right so imagine guys this is the inside of your house I've just built out one wall here guys it doesn't have to look like this you can decorate your house however you want we're gonna place down our bed like so then on the left hand side for you guys you're going to crouch like this and place a spruce wood stare facing upside-down with the gap on the left side not facing the bed then on the right side here guys you're going to place a bookshelf then grab your spruce trapdoors I'm going to place one cheer on the right-hand side of the bookshelf you activate the trap door and do the same thing on this side of your spruce wood says so place it down and whack and there we go guys we've got ourselves a nice little bed shelf table thingamabob I guess you can kind of decorate this how you want however this left hand side this staircase here this is really important to make sure this is here next thing we're going to do is place a flower top up a top our bookshelf Chuck the flower and there and then what chest guys this is actually really important to the build I think anyway we're going to break out the block underneath this stay here guys so at the moment got stone and we're going to place the chest in there now you may be thinking ear way stream that looks really really obvious and I know that is the point basically guys you want your friends to think that this is the secret chest like maybe you put like maybe one or two diamonds or you could just be a troll and put tons of dead bushes in there guys but you want your friends to think that this is actually your secret chest so that they don't look any further so they'll be like oh well we found a secret chest and then they'll look at here and they'll be like oh this sucks and then go away without realising the real trick is going to be on top of this stair here we're gonna place an item frame like so and you're gonna place a cooked beef or whatever you think the least suspicious item is on top of this staircase and this is actually going to be the thing that activates and opens up our bed to reveal the secret base and the reason why that chest is so important is because it draws the suspicion away from this item of frame here alright so we've built the decorative part of the build now we got to get into the Redstone let's do this now to get this build to actually work you're going to need a bunch of some random block that we can put all our redstone wiring on I'm gonna use white concrete because it's really easy to see but really you could use anything even dirt it doesn't matter then we're going to need one redstone comparator for redstone dust six redstone repeaters one is sticky piston at one redstone torch and finally a stern button alright we're not obviously going to put any redstone out here otherwise people will be suspicious so let's jump around to the backside here guys where you're going to need to first out dig out an open space what you want to do guys is you can come up one block away from here and you want to build out a one two three four five long hole here and build this out one at 2/3 so it needs to be three by five sized and then you want to dig this out and it needs to be at least one at two three blocks deep so just to clarify guys it's five blocks long three blocks wide three up blocks and deep seems pretty simple well I hope you guys get it then what you want to do guys is wherever you've placed your item frame with your non suspicious-looking item you want to place the block of your choice we're just gonna use white right here and you want it to be so that you've got you can actually see through and you could actually like imagine placing redstone across here from the item frame that is super important then what we're gonna do guys is you want to build this out one two three four five all the way to the MTM one two three and one two three four five all the way it back like so it kind of makes this u-shape then at the bottom here guys this is where things get a little interesting because have a look at this guy's I'm prepared whoa secret base has been here the whole time what yeah I built the secret base with flan because I thought that would be way quicker here guys look it's even look this secret base is way cooler than just that look at this oh very very epic guys very epic secret Bay Z but if we actually come back up here now the reason we need to build our secret base first which by the way you guys can decorate however you want it doesn't have to look like this at all you can make it as bigger as small as you like is because we need to choose where we're going to put the button that allows us to get out of our secret base now to do this guys if you come back up here you can see we've got the bed and what you want to do guys is where your wall is directly under that wall you want to place a block here so you want you do need the wall of your secret base to be aligned with this the wall on the overworld or like the top here guys cuz that's gonna be super important for our redstone then we're gonna place a stone button just on this wall here and if we come back up over here this stone button is going to output a redstone signal through this block so that's where I place a guy just destroy them by just destroy the block with the button on it let's let's try that again the button goes here alright and then he come back up here and the redstone will come out where have you placed that button so what we're gonna do then guys is where this button is we're gonna place one two three four blocks here with white concrete now you may notice this lines up perfectly with the gap we've left here look at my expert planning but then we're actually going to break this beautiful looking piece of art and we're gonna place one and two blocks like so alright now that we've put down all the scaffolding for our redstone it's time to actually place down our redstone so what you guys want to do is wear this item frame is here you're going to place one resident comparator now it should light up automatically if you've got an item in there then you want to place one or two redstone dust like so you want to place a redstone repeater and we're gonna leave this open just for a moment we're gonna come back to it in a sec then we're going to place one redstone dust one redstone dust here you're going to place a redstone repeater leave a gap here we'll come back to this and place there another redstone repeater with one two three ticks like so and leave another gap then come down to our second floor here guys and where this button comes out you're going to place one repeater to repeater leave a gap place your third repeater then you want to place your redstone torch on the left side of this block and then directly above this redstone torch you guys going to want to place your sticky piston facing upward and it should activate straight away up pushing this block that you placed earlier up here and that's actually going to allow the redstone signal to travel through this block alright so we've set up all the Redstone devices but we've got a few caps going on and that's because we need a various special block for those of you on this channel I'm sure you already know what I'm talking about drum roll please we need the command block because you know that just makes everything ways you can do this with pistons I was trying it earlier but it's just a nightmare commands other way to go so to get one of these bad boys you guys are going to want to open up your chat here and type in slash give space at like the a symbol guys P Space Command and then underscore block like so hit enter and oh we have ourselves a command to block then you guys going to want to place one here one here but make sure the ones you guys is got like the arrow so you can see this arrow here guys that needs to be facing up then you want to go ahead and Crouch like so and place another block on top of this command once again and make sure it is facing up guys this arrow is really important then we're gonna jump down here and place another command block again facing up between our redstone repeaters and that's all the command blocks you're going to need however now we're going to need some commands and to do that we're first going to need to turn on coordinates so we can figure out what's going on in our world so to do that open up your pause menu you guys go to settings and then you want to come down here into game and you want to scroll down to you'll reach this option here that says show coordinates and you want to turn that on if we jump back into the game you can see in the top left hand corner we now have a bunch of numbers now this will be different depending on whichever world you're in and your numbers will be different to mine that is o.k all right so the first thing we're going to want to do guys is you want to jump on top of wherever your bed is so for me that's like right here and you'll see I've got a unique set of numbers - 5 8 7 3 1 1 5 now your numbers will be different so what I recommend doing get a piece of paper or another device and write your numbers youngers it's super important use your numbers and not my numbers at all alright so minor 5 8 7 3 1 1 5 I'm saving that in my brain all right it's stuck in my brain now we're gonna come around to this first command block you guys you want to open this up and you want to type in a fill space and you want to type in the three numbers that you wrote down so for me that was a five eight I believe seven three one one five I really hope it's just double check that guy's you don't want to mess this up you want to make sure you get these numbers right alright five eight seven three one one five did I get that yeah alright I got that then you want to do space and you want to type in those same three numbers again with a slight different we're gonna go five eight space and this is the different one guys whatever your number was before so mine was 73 you want to take away one from that so for me that will be seven - it needs to be one number less then space one one five space and then type in air all right now you can close up that command block and then in this next command block you guys you're going to type in set block and you want to type type in those same three numbers again which for me was a five eight seven three one one five now we're just going to quickly leave our command block because we this is going to be the command block that places back our bed once we've gone into the secret base so you need to actually test which way your beds going to do go now this is a little bit tricky but hang with me you want to type in as /setblock like so set block and then you want to use this little wiggly line called a Tildy and you want your Tildy Tildy Tildy and you want to type in bed and hit enter now you can see this bed is not facing the same direction as that one so that's a problem you guys want the bed to be whatever whichever direction it is in your world so if we go ahead Ghostface after your command guys so we've got set block Tildy Tildy Tildy space bed and then you just want to try one oh that's perfect that that's our bed but let's say it's not right guys you want to change this last number so bed and tried to and then try three and basically try every number you can think of until eventually you get a better that is the same as it yours or like in the same orientation so for me that's bed one so we've got simple ikea step look five eight seven three one one five space bed space one remember guys it could be one two three four five just depends on whichever way your bed is orientated then you want to come it to this command block up above and we're gonna open this up switch this to chain and always active those two things quite important then you want to type in set block and this time you want to use these same coordinates we used in the second one here so five eight seven two one one five basically it's your same three coordinates but the middle number is brought one down so five eight normally it'd be seven three are you gonna bring it down by one two seven two one one five and this is going to be different depending on what your floor is so my floor is made out of cobblestone if yours has made out of wood then you type in wood but for me guys I'm gonna do space and type in a cobblestone now if yours is made out of wood planks for example you type in planks pretty straightforward guys we're just going to type in a cobblestone like so alright so we've set that up we've only got one last thing to do guys and that's this block down here now what you want to type in here is you want to type an effect space and you want to do like the little @ symbol guys or like the a that you see in emails P space levitation space and you need to go for two seconds space power of 10 and then you can go ahead and close the command block and get this we are done that is your secret base poof if this is really compact guys as compact as I could get it and now I guess it's time to show you how this bad boy works so this is how this thing works guys essentially you walk up on top of this bed here where your pillow is and then go ahead and click whatever item you've got in your item frame here you'll fall through down into your secret base and look at that it happens just like that and if you actually look up on the surface here guys the bed is back here it's as if nothing ever happened guys your bed is closed off the stone is all nice like that and you just fell through into your secret base then to get up here guys you just click this button and boom you're up how epic is that it's so clean it's so smooth it makes the no sound it's totally silent and it's so quick that no one will be able to realize it's there and everyone will think that you know it has to do with this chest then to go back in it here guys you actually have to spin this all the way around and back to it's a default setting all right and watch this guys ready see whether you can spot it we click the button down we go under and we're in the secret base it just happens like that it is so smooth and so clean I'm really proud of this design you hit the button and boom we're up if that is not an epic secret base entrance I don't know what is and of course guys then you can go ahead and cover all this up fill it away so that nobody will be able to see all your secret commands going on here but if I don't like if that's not a secret base entrance I don't know what is and plus the thing is if someone comes up to you guys they might even see this meat and just turn it once and nothing will happen and they'll be like oh well clearly the meat or whatever you put there doesn't matter and this secret chest sucks but little do they know they actually need to turn it all the way around to here for the secret base to actually go ahead and work you click this button you come back up and boom it's amazing it works flawlessly every time I love it yeah you can't get a better secret base than this guy's but anyway that brings us to the end of today's
