hello everyone today we're gonna do some landscaping it's July 3rd and July 4th weekend and we wanted to add some of these retaining stones to our front yard so it looks more appealing and as you can see this is where I'm starting off go ahead and make sure that the stones so we went to water you got the necessary stones for the project once I took out all the bricks that were already in the ground I mowed the edge of my lawn just left the grass and the weeds wouldn't interfere and radhika after that we equally measured the perimeter of the area we were working with and we had to lay out exactly where we were going to take we marked where we were to dig with the powder but you can also do this with spray paint next we dug up the perimeter with a pickaxe and a shovel all trying to stay as straight and level as possible to make space for the base later blocks the perimeter should be dug to twice the width of the blocks and four to six inches deep once we finish digging the perimeter we added a mixture of favor of base and paper sand as a base to the retaining base blocks we compacted it down with a compactor and a measure to see if it'll level and Street in our case we used four basket paper-based mixed with two big bags of paver sins for the entire thing [Music] [Music] other side note we had to cut off the lip of the retaining blocks for the base later for to be lovely once we knew that the first layer it was level and was shaped to our preference we started to place the second layer on the third layer for stability we decided to use landscape block adhesive glue to make sure that the third layer won't fall off we later decided to curve the beginning section of the wall to match the other parts of the curves on the third layer we had to chisel down a block to fit one of our curves finally you just need to pack in the soil in the dirt and you're finished special thanks to harsh Anna and guide Rica for helping us out throughout this process if you liked this video make sure to LIKE and subscribe and comment below or you'd like to see next
