hello welcome to simple answers in this video i'll be showing you how to add subtitle and captions in imovie on iphone first let's go into imovie from here you can simply tap on movie so let's say for example i tap on movie right here and you can select the video that you would like to add the caption to then tap on create video then you can press down on the video in the timeline and it will carry you to the front of the video then you're going to tap on the video again until you see a yellow line around it then you'll tap on the t in the bottom right hand corner right below duplicate you're going to tap on the t then from here you can select which one of these text style you'd like to use me personally i would like to use this one right here the last one from here you are going to tap on title text here which you'll see in the top left hand corner and you can clear that section right there and you can start adding your text or your subtitler caption then you can play your video along and you can add the caption as it plays along as you can see right here once you're finished you'll tap on done in the top left hand corner and that's it hope you found this video helpful and informative if you did be sure to hit the like button and subscribe and thank you for watching
