hi welcome to PDF tips here's how to add an email submit button to any PDF in this case it's a fillable form PDF so it will actually send the form field in as a PDF in the email the whole thing so for example I have a form here or a setup if you don't know how to create forms we have another video on how to do that the link is in description of this video so in Adobe Acrobat Pro full version you click on find tools prepare form in this case it's already got four Fields so it will actually asks you to do that on the top bar here to do an email submit click on the OK button and then you place it where you want it to be so I'm going to place it here I'm going to call it submit and I'm going to resize it so a little bit bigger as well so it's going to be there so double click on it to go into properties now I'm going to add a tooltip this is like a pop-up when you hover over it so and we'll put email PDF appearance and make it slightly bigger font size so I'm going to put 18 position and options and call it submit then actions this is the important part you need to look in the actions and go right to the bottom where it says submit a form click add now in these properties you need to put mail to a colon that shift and the colon key and then you put in the email address like you want to send it to so in this case I'm going to plug support PDF tips the call in here I want to do the PDF document the full thing so then when you get the email you can Sprint it out and you've got the whole thing click ok close so now if you click on preview see it's got the submit button there and if you hover over it says email PDF which is the two tip then just left Mouse click on it in this case it's going to use Outlook but it depends on what you have set up click continue so this is opened Outlook and it's putting the filled in PDF there to the address and it's that simple to do so now the user would just click Send and it will send that email with the PDF filled in so you can change it to whatever you want just a tank to a 33 and then you can put it whatever you want submit continue so that will have that new information and I'll show you that in a second now actually to save the PDF you click on close so this is the PDF that you're going to send to people click on file say if you want to overwrite an existing so this is a form now that you can load up at any time form to submit this is pre-filled out but it can just make it all blank and then people can fill it out is that the estevon it's going to save that so now when I open that it's like that already so people can then just fill it out and click submit so now if I go to my Outlook so now I've opened the email in the sent items I can actually just double click on the PDF that was created you can see that this is my information that I filled out I could do it that way the next one as well so this is slightly different this Mr Pay tank so that's the information that the recipient will get and it's that easy to set up give it a try
