in this video i'll show you how to add a hyperlink to a pdf in adobe robot pro dc welcome to this video my name is david and i hope you're well wherever you are around the world so i've got a pdf inside adobe robot pro dc and let's assume we want to add a hyperlink to uh the text right here now hyperlink is a link that you can click and it takes somebody maybe to another website or maybe to a website or anything of that sort so let's do that and it's pretty simple to add a hyperlink to whatever text that you want it's pretty simple and all we need to do is go to tools click on edit pdf and once i click on that it's going to be possible to edit or make any edits to your pdf you can edit the text add images create a link crop images change the header and the footer watermark the pdf and more let's click on link and from this particular drop down you'll see the option to add or edit web or document link auto create web links from url remove web links append all links on page view web links if they're available so let's click on add stroke edit web order document link click on that and once you do that you'll see a plus sign appear on the cursor so the mouse for this case so you can just drag this to make the box where you want it to be and let's assume it's with this fast option once you do that a create link dialog box is going to open up where you'll see uh link type visible rectangle or invisible whatever the visible one would be better align style solid dashed underline it's whatever you want highlight style invert outline insert it's whatever you want as well uh line thickness thin medium thick it depends on your preference now the link action what do you want to happen once this particular hyperlink is added so go to go to a page view open a file open a web page custom link let's assume you want to open a web page click on that and then click on next and then from this particular section you'll need to enter a url i already have the url i want to add as a hyperlink to a pdf uh copied so i can just press on control v to paste it inside it goes to my website and then click on ok and once you do that you'll notice that these changes everything and the link is blue this is blue as well let's close once we do that we now have that black box depending on what we made our selection to be if i click on this and you'll notice or basically when i hover over this particular section you'll see that uh the there is a hand kind of mouse with a w that means uh that's our to a website and you can see the url to that website and if i click on it you're going to get a security warning this is standard with adobe robot this document is trying to connect to freelancerinsight.com if you trust this site choose allow if you do not trust this site choose block so you can decide to remember this action for this site for all pdf documents if it is a website that you trust so i'll just click on allow and once we do that we're actually going to go straight into that particular website so that is how you can add hyperlink to a pdf in adobe robot protec i hope this tutorial is of value to you thanks for watching
