How to Actually Pick YOUR Main Legend in Brawlhalla — Step by Step Guide !!

picking a main is not step one to improving cuz that's your mental and mindset like we mentioned in the previous video picking a main is Step Zero when you're trying to get better at the game so brala have over 60 Legends and it can be very overwhelming to pick only one out of 60 Legends so today I'll be walking you through a stepbystep process to find the right and best legend specifically for you right let's start off by explaining why picking a main is the first and most important thing to do when trying to get better at the game your skill level or how good you are is based on only two things how many hours you played and what you did during those hours let's say there is two players right with 10 hours of Total Play Time Each first player spent 10 hours on one Legend the second player however spent 10 hours on 10 different Legends so that's 1 hour for each Legend if they were to fight each other the second guy will get absolutely demolished but why is that because you have only 1 hour of experience on that specific Legend he's playing whilst the other guy have 10 hour of experience on his Legend you know see when you're in a game you don't play 10 Legends at once do you you only play one character at a time so get good at one character at a time because your win is heavily influenced by how much experience you have on that one character you know every weapon is different and unique from the other ones and every Legend is unique and different from the other ones people don't realize how big of a difference is one speed or one defense or one attack from Legend to Legend your experience on other Legends does not not help you at all when you're playing a different one your weapon dictates what movement options you will do or what play style you will be playing and your stats dictates how fast or slow you're going to be and if you're allowed to throw certain moves or not so that's why every legend in the game is different because they all have different stats and different weapons so how do you go about choosing a legend which leads to the second part of this video choosing a play style before we go into picking a legend for you we need to understand what's your intentions when playing the game what do you look for the most do you want to clip other players do you want to do zero to death and look flushy do you not mind going for risky options or maybe you prefer efficiency playing it safe and going for the win wherever your goal is it's going to fall under one of these three play Styles aggressive passive and patient and you need to know which one of these three is you okay aggressive player's goal is to be the first one to attack apply a lot of pressure chase down the opponent and not let them take a break and overall try to have control over the pace of the game so ask yourself right now is that something you want to do is that how you want to play the game or maybe you're already playing the game like that maybe not you know yourself passive players tend to do the complete opposite where their goal is to just play it safe wait for a guaranteed hit punish your opponent's mistakes and try not to get hit and attack once you're safe to do so so once again ask yourself would you like to just go for the win and play it safe and there's nothing wrong with that by the way you play the game however you enjoy it the most and don't switch your play style because someone else said that you you suck or calls you a [ __ ] for not attacking first because that's straight up cope and you shouldn't give two [ __ ] about it now patient which is a play style I chosen in my opinion is the best out of these three because it's somewhat in the middle between passive and aggressive where you attack when you see an opportunity and wait for the right moment some people may say that's just passive the difference between passive and patient is that passive usually waits for his opponent to make a mistake and then punish which means he's never really attacking first patient is waiting for the right moment and the right position to attack which means you can be both the first one attacking and the second one attacking it doesn't matter so it's balanced and the chance of you getting hit is not as high as aggressive players since you're not always the one attacking and the chance of your opponent controlling the pace of the game isn't as high as a passive player because you can be the one attacking as well in my opinion this is the best way to play the game and I used to be aggressive but I switched because I got to a point in Elo where being aggressive doesn't really work for me especially because of how my weapon is designed it's not really made to be aggressive you know passive players can go high in Elo honestly but it's not as high as a patient player because they count on their opponent missing which means if the opponent doesn't miss they're basically fine so you maybe see these three play Styles and don't know which one exactly is you because you just play the game and don't think much when you move or attack okay that's completely fine in that case watch a replay of one of your games and see which one of these three you're close to okay if you still can't tell which one of these is your play style try picking one right now and go in future game with the goal of playing like I just explained all right third section is choosing a weapon so once you know what play style you want or what's the things you'd like to go for in game it's time to pick the right weapon for you because you could be Ming the wrong weapon for your play style or for your goals you know and that's exactly what happened I used to want to be flashy and hit cool [ __ ] with the Scythe when I started playing but with time I realized I prioritize efficiency and actually winning the game over going for cool stuff so I dropped nyck I dropped Diana I dropped humo and CW strictly for this reason and ended up picking barza you know he's not as flashy or as cool as the other ones I just mentioned but hey guess what at least I win more now which is what I actually want to know so here are the different categories for weapons string weapons they allow you to hit very cool stuff but with the cost of you reading your opponent and knowing exactly where they're going to be and what they're going to do Qatar Scythe Cannon great sword gauntlets battery boots and blasters fast and close range aggressive weapons allow you to apply a lot of pressure on your opponent and chase them down stay close to them without letting them take a break weapons like sword orb qars gauntlets and battle boots long range space out weapons allow you to keep a long distance between you and the opponent so you're in a safer Place weapons like blasters bow spear Lance and great sword heavy weapons do a shitload of damage but at the cost of being super slow slow which means you're going to have to play safer because if you miss an attack the likelihood of you getting punished is so high weapons like axe Hammer Lance and Spear and the reason why these Legends on the screen are so good and the most popular at the same time is because their weapons fall into the same catagories which mean you have similar goals with both weapons which makes your life so much easier when playing the game and then we have the difficulty of learning by the way difficulty of learning and difficulty of playing are completely two separate things you can have a weapon that is easy to learn but hard to play and it can also be the other way around where the weapon is easy to play but it was somewhat difficult to learn at first you know so this border will show off the difficulty score of every weapon out of 10 and this is not like 100% true this is my honest opinion and I I honestly believe they're like pretty accurate in my opinion I don't know if you think uh if you think something else please correct me in the comments so before you pick up a weapon and give it all all of your time consider that your journey might be way more difficult and longer than other players and that's exactly why I don't play Scythe or gauntlets because I can't be asked to learn a weapon for 200 hours and also that's exactly why I didn't pick Diana or NYX because ax is just so straightforward and simple to use you know unlike bow or [ __ ] Scythe or gaunlets moving on to the next section choosing a group of Legends now that you've picked a play style and two weapons according to that play style it's time to pick a group of Legends that you will try out and completely eliminate everything that isn't inside of that group or at least isn't similar enough and then out of that group you're going to pick your main character so here on the screen I will be putting different groups of Legends that are similar and have pretty much the same weapons similar goals when playing and similar stats and play Styles as well the straightforward balanced Legends if you're looking for something simple and straightforward that doesn't take much time to learn and master it's going to be these Legends the flashiest Legends they tend to take a while to master because of their string weapons like I said earlier but the end result is so satisfying for a lot of players and still a solid pick as well heavy Legends they're a bit slow because they either have slow stats or slow weapons or sometimes both but once you hit your opponent they are red with a couple of attacks close range high pressure Legends usually they are fast because they like the ability to stay away and be safe so you need good defense and speed to play them long range Legends they give you the ability to stay away be safe while hitting your opponent at the same time tanky Legends they take a while to die and give you extra time to stay on the field and have a second chance to live more like 10 chances to be honest but at the cost of being slow of course weak Legends they are so fragile and die super fast because they lack defense but the high speed and that can make up for it they have really really high potential if you know how to move properly and use the legend the right way efficient Legends if your goal is just winning and you want to play The Meta then pick one of these Legends they are literally unnerfed because of the way they are built the weapons matchups the stats and sigs all go very well together and will always be a good Legends like I said literally unnerved and now the final step after doing all of that after picking a play St picking a weapon or two three Max and picking a group of Legends two or three maximum four Legends you're going to try those Legends experiment a bit between them and try getting them to level 20 maybe 25 each and see what works best for you and while playing that group of Legends don't switch stick with one thing at a time like we explained in the beginning all right with time you will understand exactly what you hate and what you like about Legends what's the problems you can tolerate and what you can the positive that you want and the negatives that you can accept a quick note before you go all in some Legends may change the play style of your weapon for example I used to play uh Diana and Lucien who are fairly fast Legends you know when I switched to Baraza I realized that I have to be to play blasters like it's a heavy weapon because it's a slow character you know to have like a main weapon understand that sometimes if you switch characters you're going to have to switch play style switch like the entire thing you know switch the entire play style and secondary weapon is going to have a lot of effect as well since you're going to be
