hello everyone in this video I want to show you how to factory reset your MacBook and this one is the a one two seven eight but it should be the same for most Mac books and MacBook Pros this is going to be a hard reset so it's going to erase everything on your laptop back back to its original factory condition alright so let's get started first thing you want to do is make sure your MacBook is turned off okay so you're going to power it on and as soon as you hit the power on button you're going to hold command and the s key alright so powered on come on s key and you're going to keep on holding command and s all right until you see this come up all right wait till toit finishes loading up all right so you're going to hit enter once you see that it says root you're going to type in M oh you and T and then space - you w then space forward slash and then you're going to press Enter all right then on the second line you're going to type in our M space /v a our /d B forward slash dot Apple set up done and then you're going to hit enter again and on the third line you're going to type in shut down and then space / - H space now okay once you have all that typed in then you're going to hit enter all right once you see a tenant it's completely off press the power button and it's going to turn on all right so as you can see the computer is has been reset this is the the option here where lets you choose the language okay so as you can tell it has been reset back to its original condition hope this video helped you out if it did please like and subscribe for more videos like this thank you guys
