I have been watching YouTube
since I was a kid back in 2006, 2007. I used to love
watching a bunch of YouTubers. watching Smosh, Nigahiga, Ray
William Johnson, and freaking PewDiePie. I started to get addicted to YouTube
and still am. created a bunch of YouTube channels. I've tried
every single tactic in the book. I posted around 500 videos
I have even been working for a big YouTube channel. that is why I decided to create this
YouTube channel, to take what I've learned from the industry, from producing
other types of videos and content, and what I've learned over the years
of creating YouTube and putting them together to try to understand
how can I grow my channel? How can I help you out,
grow your YouTube channel? But one thing that always comes up
is a fricking YouTube algorithm. I see a bunch of videos saying,
how can you beat the YouTube algorithm,
how to hack the YouTube algorithm? And I'm scratching my head and I have some vague understanding of
what is the YouTube algorithm. But the thing is,
No one has actually explained it to me. And then it clicked. if we just replace the word algorithm
with audience, then it clicked. Don't think about the computer science
behind the AI thing in the YouTube algorithm.
Don't think about it. Think about the audience. How can I make videos for human beings, audience, viewers, And not a computer. the YouTube algorithm was created
for YouTube For YouTube to understand and create a profile,
Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you?
What's up of gender? Are you? What type of language
do you speak? all of that stuff. YouTube has basically created
this YouTube algorithm to understand how can we give you more recommendations,
how can we give you more videos and how can we, by the end of the day,
make more money on ads? hair is, where the creator comes in. when you are creating your video,
you need to title your video for a human. I have done this in the past as well where
I have title the video for the algorithm I have put in like a big “why” and me
standing like this in the thumbnail. And it doesn't really make sense because when you click
the video, it's about Minecraft. I mean, you have to think about
who are your audience. you are probably making videos
in your niche. What do you love to make videos about what
type of interest and information do you have that nobody else have or
are able to explain in a different way? So people will click your video
and to subscribe to your YouTube channel as you should do to this one. you should definitely think
about creating a profile, a profile where you are thinking about,
those that are watching your videos. How old are they? Where are they from? What gender are they? What language
do they speak? do they speak English? Do you speak a different language? Do you need to say like L
double view, rizz and all of that stuff? I don't even get me started. when you have your profile and when you of understand
who you are making videos for, then the humans, not the YouTube
algorithm will click your video because they are interested in, let's say,
baking a cake, football or soccer. interested in Messi. They are interested in Ronaldo. They're interested in all of that stuff. talk to them
and behave in this sort of same language and style that they are used to. go on YouTube, search for your niche,
search for football, soccer, baking a cake, whatever
and you will see that most of the channels and most of the videos
will have similar type of style. Maybe they use this color. Maybe they have this type of font. I don't really know We can always talk
about changing titles and thumbnails and descriptions and small keywords
and SEO and all of that stuff. But we are making videos for humans,
not robots. By the end of the day. that's basically the algorithm
if you want to learn why you are a much bigger YouTuber than you think,
watch this video right here. Post your favorite emoji
in the comment section. If you don't have anything to say, leave a like and subscribe
and I'll see you guys in the next one. Espion. Peace out. Bye bye. Good bye bye bye bye.
