How the French Foreign Legion teaches the French language to the new recruits.

suck hello friends of the frankfurt legion i am greeting you you are very welcome on my channel hello so some guys of you asking me were asking me hey thomas when you joined the french foreign legion do you need to speak french did you speak french thomas when you joined a french foreign legion no i didn't i yes i did a little bit i say i could say we or bonjour and that's all so i had maybe two or three words i knew in french language i came from i come from germany so i spoke a little bit english but that that was it you know and uh and my message to you guys is don't worry don't worry when you join the french for legion the life will teach you the french language and they will teach you the french language so you have about every day in the boot camp the boot bootcamp is for 17 weeks most of the time you are on the farms or in the old kasan la passe or now in the newcastle um don ju so they will teach you french and every day you are there you will learn three words three words every day and responsible for the thought that you are able to understand and can write and read these words is your binom because they put you together in a binom binom means two two guys or even how can i say it i cannot find the word you are in school they teach you the language so you come together in a class all 25 applicants or 30 applicants and they give lessons and in the end of the bootcamp they teach you by this way 400 french words so you can write them you can read them and you can talk and after not even 10 days in the boot camp you are able to say things in french language like your blood group you know your numero sangino your group sangine that's it that's what they call them and you're able to tell them your numero of your famas in my time with the famas today is the hakka 417 the german weapon you storm give a storm your number your personal identification number so one wheat that's what they want to hear after 10 days but it's okay you can do it you can do it after one and a half year in french for religion your french language skills are so good that you can be corporal and give your orders to your team in french language so after three months in the boot camp you can join your regiment your final regiment as you know better than i do we have six fightings regiment in france in the french metropole and one in overseas this is in french guyana and your french language skills are good enough you know read write and talk 400 words and this is good to go for any operation yeah it's enough and after one year in your regiment your french language skills are so good you can even be radio operator of your unit and they do so much more to learn the french language to you you know even when you sing a song a french military song a legion song because we in the legion we sing a lot a lot a lot every day and when you have to sing a song they don't teach you the french word go outside outdoor and then you have to sing the song no it's much more than this before going outdoor you come together in a classroom and they tell you the french words and afterwards at the same time they explain the words and the meaning of the words and they translate it for you in your language so you can understand and this is so important have you seen the legionnaires flag have you seen the flag of the legion understanding and then doing going outside and singing very important singing is a strong message so when you want to join the french for religion but you have doubts because you have not the language skills you don't speak about french don't worry my
