with the release of 12.7 we saw two new nine by 19 rounds added to escape from tarkov and people have been asking me to test them constantly so today we're going to be diving into the best nine mil ammos and how they comparatively stack up against armor and also leg meta so you guys can get an idea of which is the best nine by nineteen round in escape from tarkov [Music] so before we get into the video i just wanted to clarify that we're gonna be testing everything here today except for green traces for armor penetration we're gonna be looking at pst gzh ap 6.3 and 7n31 for leg mana however we're looking at pso cci quake maker and rip rounds due to the fact that their pen values are so low the testing methodology we're gonna be looking at level three armor all the way up to class six being the slick plate carrier we're also gonna be testing some visors here today from level three working our way up to class six so you can get a good idea starting with the introductory round here psd gzh we're going to have a quick look at this entry round into 9 by 19 and how it stacks up against armor that's 10 rounds against a fresh carasa but how about trooper do you think they're about 20 rounds to bring down a trooper and this is why pst gch isn't too great with a whopping 26 rounds against gen 4 you can really see why this round is an introductory round and i wouldn't recommend using in the late game so let's look at the results here level three coming up at 10 rounds and we're working our way up to a significant jump here to level four at 20 rounds and that's why i recommend when using psdg-h you really have to be hitting them headshots especially when it comes down to just consecutive rounds not being enough here let's step it up one here to ap 6.3 the recent king of penetration which has been toppled by the new ammos but let's look at that 30 pen and how that stacks up against some of the different armors here the ap 6.3 is significantly more expensive but is much more reliable and you'll see now it just cut straight through the karassa in four shots but how about trooper level four so it's 10 rounds for a trooper there and you can start to see that that 30 pin sometimes falls flat when you run up against class 4 or more but when we put it up against class 5 you can start to see where it starts to drop the ball so that's 13 rounds against the gen 4 assault here at 75.75 but how about a slick play carrier if you consider the cost of the round and the recall of the guns 13 rounds up against the class 6 is actually a significant improvement here and you're gonna notice across the board much better results when running ap 6.3 i think ap 6.3 right now is the best bang for buck budget round here when it coming to penning reliably across across multiple different types of armor for nine by nineteen but seven and thirty one aka the out of stock bullet here today is gonna be pushing almost reliable one taps every single time on class 4. at 39 pen you're going to be noticing that 7n31 is an absolute monster with its higher flesh you're also going to be noticing a 2 two-tap and three to take down a trooper as one was blocked as we move over to gen four we're also going to be noticing an improvement in gen 4 and a significant improvement in slick play carriers now if we look at the results side by side here we're going to be noticing a massive jump here especially in the ends of level five and six you guys gonna start to notice that that 731 is definitely a monster round up against armor and i would recommend maybe running a couple rounds of this in the top of your mags and then topple that with 6.3 but let's do some helmet testing here today with psd gzh the entry round to armor penetration we're starting off here with a level three fast visor with a high ricochet chance here today 40 out of 40. now six rounds to the visor consecutively may not seem like a lot however when you're trying to hit constantly that may be an issue over here follow me everybody on me i'm bleeding let's go now once again hitting 11 headshots on someone is kind of unrealistic here and so is punching through their level 4 armor with this ammo it's unfortunate to see pst gzh like this but if you do want to be running this in the late game you're definitely going to be aiming for headshots if anything with 24 rounds to the visor here on an out and as we move over to killer um armor killer helmet sorry we're going to be noticing that you probably don't want to be running up against someone that's running any sort of helmet like this and yes you saw that right that was 23 rounds there on the killer helmet and we went back and tested again because i thought one of them hit the thorax but then we got the same result again so it was an audio visual bug the interesting part for me was the fact that the level six here actually took one less shot which was interesting and when we went back and tested it was reliably around the same anyway so let's do some helmet testing of ap 6.3 i think ap 6.3 up against the visors here is why you would spend that extra bit of money on this ammo [Music] you're gonna be noticing whether it's a one tap or whether it's a two tap across the board a lot more reliability on a lot of these armors a significant improvement on the outs in here from pst gzh and lastly killer now we saw this again where the killer helmet was taking one last round and then we had a look into some of the reasons why and i'll get into that later in the video but as we dive into ap 6.3 we're going to be noticing a lot more reliability on visors which is level 3 which is significantly important here same with level 4 which is a chance of running into one of these visors and significantly lower on an outer visor at nine let's just hope you don't run into that because that's a lot of shots consecutively as for helmet testing with 7n31 we're really going to see the power of this new round added to escape from tarkov as it cuts through most of these like butter with a 39 penetration value it should fly straight through [Music] so we're noticing two one tap stairs we move over to the outen three shots for the outing and lastly [Music] killer now i don't know if you saw that or not we actually had a round glitch through the killer helmet and actually not even count as a hit and in post raid didn't count as a hit either when we checked the visor it was actually zeroed and it was really interesting to me because i think what was happening was the visor of the killer is either bugged in the hitboxes or the material type is breaking down from the blunt damage faster whereas higher penetration rounds go straight through the outside where it can outlast i think this is really interesting because i do believe that the out advisor can take more lower caliber shots than the killer helmet however the killer helmet can really just jump ahead on that extra class of armor at six and survive bigger rounds more likely as we look at the results here in the vises you're really going to be noticing why 7n31 is so sought after and always bought out this monster of a round can cut straight through a level three and four helmets which are some of the most common and can bring down an out and in three shots like it's nothing so i started thinking about leg meta because a lot of you are going to be asking in the comment section down below so let's do some leg meta breakdowns of pso gzh cci quake maker and also rip rounds some of the most devastating leg meta flesh damage in the game starting off here with pso gzh so nine shots here for pso gzh as we work our way over to luger cci slightly higher flesh damage and slightly more expensive these blue tips are really good for flesh you'll be noticing one less shot there on cci and six shots for the new quake maker ammo i think the interesting part however is quake maker is actually a subsonic round moving at around 100 meters less than cci this may not seem significant but it actually is as we move over to rip however so there you have it guys rip obviously you guys all knew from the start that rip ammo is the most devastating and out of an mp9n is one of the scariest things to exist and escape from tarkov quake maker is slightly better than luger cci however it's subsonic so that's your choice but how about ap 6.3 verse 7 and thirty one in the time to kill challenge here against a slick now this is coming out of an mp9n at a whopping 1100 rounds per minute you can see it just cut straight through that armor like it was nothing and how about ap 6.3 you could notice that it's slightly longer there on ap 6.3 when it push comes to shove not every single person is going to hit every shot so the less shots the merrier what do you guys think is the best 9 by 19 caliber and escape from tarkov let me know in the comments down below and as always guys if you enjoyed this video if you like and subscribe it helps me out a ton let me know what videos you like to see me do next what caliber you want me to test and as always we'll see you on the next one [Music] [Music] you
