How I Style My Hair + The Dyson Airwrap Review & Tutorial! | Kryz Uy

hey everybody welcome back to my channel my hair's a mess it is because today's video is gonna be all about my review for the very famous and highly requested Dyson era [Music] so I have them with me today and this box is pretty huge so let me just get it in frame and show you guys hair wrap comes in this mega feud and huge leather box and inside are all the essentials so this is the wand and you will have all the different brush heads in there today's video is not sponsored by Dyson although I wish it was but I did have to buy this complete set by myself and I did get the complete set because I feel like there are three different variants to this Dyson air wrap bundle so you can get a smoothing you can get the styling if I'm not mistaken and you can get the complete set and I got the complete set because the price difference between the three are very is very minimal so I figured why not just go for the complete set that way I can show you guys exactly what goes on in here and this complete set is super sold out everywhere so I had to personally contact Dyson Philippines and wait for their shipment to come in that was around Christmas time and I picked it up at the house of the distributor herself I had to pay full price because they weren't giving any discounts at all because this product is very highly coveted and they don't need marketing they don't need discount see they don't need to give discounts because everybody wants to get their hands on this product but now that I have tried it I know absolutely why it is an amazing amazing product first of all the leather in here looks absolutely beautiful it will match with your vanity area it doesn't look like it's cheap or clunky it looks like it was made to be part of your collection and I feel like if I were given a choice between the Dyson Arab set and the Dyson hairdryer I would definitely go for the Dyson complete set because this one already has a head that you can attach to it like so and this one is a blow dryer so the air the air comes out of this part and you can dry your hair using this one I'm going to show you quickly right now so it does a pretty fine job of pulao drying your hair the hairdryer was stronger but I feel like the difference is minimal and with a price difference I would honestly just go for this one instead that way you can have all the different brushes at your disposal this air app is the same as the hair dryer and that it has three settings when it comes to how loud and how strong the wind is so I will go through the three now I can't talk while I'm turning this on because it is kind of loud so I'm going to show you first setting second setting very funny and you can also choose between three different heat settings so you have the cool you have an alarm and you have the hot but while you're in the hot you can also pull this middle lever all the way up to give it a boost a cool air boost yeah so I'm gonna continue drying my hair now because in order to style it you will need damp hair like it can't be too dry it can't be too wet it just needs to be eat the perfect dampness so that's it we're gonna try to achieve right now [Music] oh that is a frizz bomb I feel like we are now ready to go in styling and you can choose between the different brush heads that are here so you have this one which is like the typical one that they use in salons men to try to do the Rachel Green kind of curl then you have this one in this one they look like combs but one is to smoothen out all the tangles I think it's this one and this one is really to straighten out your hair well though for some reason it doesn't really work for me I think I really haven't figured out exactly how to use this yet because even if I use this and I attach to this on to the Dyson air wrap my hair isn't as straight as I want it to be so maybe I have to figure that one out for now there is a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to using the air app and I'm happy because the first time I used it actually borrowed it from my friend Mellie and we traveled together to Dubai so at least somebody was able to give me a little bit of a guidance the other reviews of this product that I find in YouTube that is the complaint like it the instructions that come with it don't really fully explain it so I hope that this YouTube video will help you guys out there if you don't know how to use a Dyson air app and you're considering buying it for yourself as well it also comes with these ones which are my favorite these will curl your hair while it's a little bit on the wet side so it actually saves you time because if you have to blow-dry your hair first and then go in with a hair curler you're wasting so much time you have to style your hair twice whereas this one you just blow dry it really really fast you don't have to spend so much time making sure it's absolutely dry and then you go in with this one and it will finish the drying for you and it also comes in a different size barrel this is the thinner size barrel so if you guys want less loose curls if you want tighter curls and go for these ones but I personally like the looser curls so that is what we're gonna try out today so I'm going to switch to this up I'm just gonna pull this lever down there's an icon here that says unlock and I'm gonna pull that down and instantly this will release I'm gonna put that back in the box and I will stake this one inside so now that that is secured what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna section my hair and I am going to get a little bit over here you want to curl it away from your face so I'm gonna go for this section it just get a bit of hair that is not too thick just thin enough for this one to hang on - I put the setting on super high and super hot so I'm gonna turn it on right now and voila look at that curl so what I did was I grabbed a piece of hair and I put this wand behind the hair and it's sort of the airflow that comes out of it sort of pulls the hair and makes it coil around the wand and then I leave it on for a few seconds on hot and then I push this up so sorry I push this up so it sort of gives a cool boost to the hair and locks it in place with this cool setting so leave it on cool for a few more seconds and then I release it and this is the result it looks like I curled my hair using a curling wand but I feel like it's so much quicker and it's so much safer for your hair because you're not actually ironing it in place you know you're just blowing air into it so I'm just gonna keep doing that to show you guys the results so how long you keep the hair in the wand will depend on how damp your hair is the more damp it is the longer you need to keep it in that position and also if you find that your hair is not fully sticking to the wand it means probably that you've gotten too thick of a chunk so you need to sort of lessen that and make it thinner so that it will adhere to this one a little bit easier there you go hair on this side is curly and bouncy and voluminous so I'm going to do the other side really quickly to show you [Music] so as you can see this chunk fell and it's probably because I got a too big chunk of hair words are feeling me today so you just need to grab that chunk that fell off and combine it with a left [Music] nice bouncy curly waves and that took me just literally a few seconds now I'm gonna do another layer of my hair and this just makes getting ready in the morning really really easy what I like in particular about the Dyson Air app is that I don't need to brush my hair and when your hair is wet it is when it's the most weak so usually I grew up thinking that after you get out of shower and invent new hairs but you run a comb through it and let it air dry but apparently that is so bad for your hair because your hair is that it's weakest and you're actually pulling through it with a comb so would the Dyson Air app I haven't combed my hair and so long and it just sort of uses the air to smoothen out all of the knots in your hair and I think that it's it's a great way to comb your hair without keeping it any damaged so I'm just gonna go ahead and do the other side [Music] the reason why I'd like to go back and forth what I'm gonna curl my hair it's because sometimes the ends of my hair are still wet so they don't really curl around the barrel because they're too wet so that is why I try to do this to dry out that part first before I move forward closer to my head I've also leaned back a bit so you guys can see where I find that my hair is too long you can't really see it so in the video [Music] so it usually takes me about 20 minutes to do my full hair it's take me a little bit longer now because I'm talking to you guys but if I'm just doing this like on an everyday basis it takes me 20 minutes to finish everything and to get perfectly curled hair and I think that's a lot of time safe because usually it takes me about half an hour or more if I'm doing with the curly hair what I also really like about the finish of my hair when I'm using the Dyson Air app is that it looks really bouncy and natural it doesn't look like it was styled too much so sometimes the curls don't last as long as when say you're using a very strong heat styling product like a curling iron or a straightener but the way it releases the curl throughout the day is very natural and I really like how it looks so I don't really mind it still keeps the volume and a little bit of a curl and it just makes your hair look curled very classically curled if that makes any sense at all [Music] oh I think that is it for the second layer and now on to my last layer [Music] sometimes when I'm retouching I'd like to use a smaller barrel here in the front part of my face but sometimes it just makes it look a little bit more curly sue than I would like so most of the time I do use this thick barrel so we're not being very precise here it's very simple you just grab any piece that you want if you grab a piece that's already been curled it's fine it's just very easy and effortless I feel like in the time that you would use to just blow dry your hair you've already completed a fully styled look and that is precisely why I love this product so much and that is why I think it's super worth it make sure that you spend more time in the cool setting than on the hot setting so you don't end up burning your hair I always put my hand about near the barrel because I feel like if it's too hot for my hand then it's probably too hot for my hair so that is how you can gauge the heat level that won't damage your hair last stretch guys [Music] my hair is naturally well usually really really straight and then I did all of these procedures to it and now it's like super frizzy so this really helps keep the frizz at bay and for my last chunk of hair don't forget here at the back because that is what I always forget [Music] oh and that is it guys voila my hair is done
