How I Messed Up The Streamer Awards

able to stop dealing with clicks but then we became streamers and we learned about content orgs presenting presenting the best content organization tonight is sweet anita i had a tic attack whilst presenting an award and awards ceremony and it was a disaster i got invited by keith cinderella so without thinking when she jumped into my chat i just went yeah let's go and i accepted and i didn't think it through we were all given free reign to decide what we were gonna say at the award and come up with it and i didn't i did not even think of something to say sat there at the edge of the stage like five seconds before i was meant to go up i was feeling confident they're like you nervous i was like no i was like i'm gonna wing it it's gonna be fine yeah i've spoken to thousands of people every single day i don't mind this is nothing so i start to get up those stairs to get on the stage and my dress gets caught and i nearly fall flat on my face straight onto the stage and maya she's so lovely she came running over and helped unhook me because she's just an absolute saint and i stumbled onto the stage and that knocked all of the confidence out of me and that that was it i felt awkward i felt embarrassed and sadly embarrassment is like my biggest trigger and i i could feel it rising rising rising rising rising i was like [ __ ] it i'm just gonna own it let's just get through this anyway all i have to do is hold is do the award i can do this they all know i have tourette's they're all content creators it's gonna be fine i had no idea how many people were watching me no idea and thank [ __ ] because if i didn't know that 350 000 people on twitch alone were watching there's no way i could have done that no way it was building and building and building i managed to calmly say the first sentence i carry from my board was anymore and then boom tick attack oh i'm here i'm here to [ __ ] i'm i'm here to swear at you for a little while i figured it'd be funnier if i didn't tell you why so [ __ ] off i have the best content [ __ ] the best content tips the best best tips the best tits in the best content organization yes love you too um so we have energy we have presented the award to my tits and then i prevented presented it to otv who were a nominee but not the actual when i was otk i [ __ ] up in every way possible and it would have been so awkward if i hadn't shown the card i didn't intend to show the card either that was a tick everyone's like she's so smart for showing the card so it didn't end up being like this really awkward moment where the wrong people get handed the award and stuff no i wasn't being smart i was being i was just doing something i thought i shouldn't do nobody else was showing what they were supposed to say so me holding it up to the camera was just me doing an inappropriate tic just we go and what you don't see is that when s fans came to collect the ward of me i almost hit him with it like that's how bad the tick attack was i almost went caboose and to be fair he's a big fella i feel like he could have handled it so but i managed to reel it in hand it to him give him a hug and eat i actually backed away i didn't know if that was when i was supposed to leave i just was like i'm out i'm out because i felt so embarrassed i went downstairs i got like three or four more drinks in me i sat there shaking just like oh my god i'm so embarrassed holy [ __ ] and everyone was comforting me i was like you did a great job you did so good i didn't even know when i got off that stage i'd written out the wrong [ __ ] name so like every step of the way i failed so hard i bungled every step of this every step and it just failed upwards i just failed upwards that's my whole life whenever i plan something it goes horribly wrong whenever i wing it even if i [ __ ] up it goes horribly right and i came home from that and settled back into my stream of life so many people saw me on that show it got into like comedy shows tv skits news shows and all sorts like worldwide people were talking about this clip right it went viral and i came home and there were loads of more viewers in my stream loads of people sending me lovely dms about it like everyone's like you nailed it you did so good and i'm just thinking how is it that my biggest fuck-ups do so much more for my career than anything i do intentionally like i just need to stop trying at life because failing has been working for me so much better so i've come away from that and the moral of the story is i should [ __ ] up more often hey
