How I Got Mastery & Rank 35 At The Same Time

so I've been playing brawl star since day one back in 2017 and I've gotten almost everything that there is to get in this game but there are two things that I have never done first off I've never gotten a rank 35 brawler also I've never bothered to get a Mastery title why you might ask well I love the game but I don't love grinding for hours on end and all masteries take are just time it's not skill-based and while rank 35 is more skill-based it's also a ton of grinding enter Mastery Madness and win streaks also enter today's sponsor Samsung just recently OJ Ben and Wasim spent 5 days live s24 Ultra for sponsoring today's video now I actually had Crow at gold one rank just from playing him but the amount of points that you need to go from gold one to Gold three is a huge jump and as for trophies well I tilted him down purposely to give myself a good Runway so that hopefully I could reach them both about the same time starting the day I had the brilliant idea to play ranked and perhaps get the Larry and Lori skin as well as gain those sweet Mastery points then after a few games I realized that the Mastery points for bronze were really pathetic how many do I get I only get seven extra Mastery so that's pretty bad but hey at least I was able to get the skin or not but I was hoping that the Mastery would ramp up fast so I kept playing and as expected both my teammates and my opponents well they weren't the best ever and we're going to jump over him so predictable good job Edgar you did 7,000 damage now yes the Mastery was still crap but at least I got the skin really quick so I kept playing now I did keep getting stuck on completely crap teams where we would lose I don't even know what that Leon did the entire time but I was a star player so at least I was getting them juicy Mastery points all right so that's about as juicy as a rock in the desert but I wanted to test a ladder game to see what the gains were like there so I C up put some randoms and 80 that's way more yeah much much better so we switch gears now to speed things up I invited a couple friends lyx and yump and we bald there we go there it is nice play yes beat him off you're [Music] dead oh that's good that's good stuff now after yump had to go I checked my mastery and well I mean it went up but honestly I still had a long way to go and I only had like 45 minutes left before I had to go home for the day so we made the most of the time that we had we were gaining trophies with almost 750 now as well as I started to make a dent in the Mastery as we reached gold 2 now I had planned to grind a little bit more later that night to reach the cap but I got busy making dinner I about them and then we went out and saw inside out to which honestly was a pretty good movie now the next coming in I wanted to cover a bunch of ground not only in Mastery but also in trophies however the Allure of getting that Larry and Lori skin was just it was there just staring at me so maybe I just go just just to see just see if my lucks change today we're going to play Crow again every single time and after a few games predictably I got I couldn't pull it on my freeo play can I get it here so then I looked at the maps and honestly none of them were really great for Crow but we had to play something so I gathered up some friends and we played a few brawl ball games gaining a little bit more trophies and then we turned it into a real party when we switched it to 5v5 and this was the start of a very long grind in [Music] 5v5 double kill B just killed me oh my God Andy Andy we're going to see if we can kill a bunch of people oh okay we killed nobody so after a couple hours I found myself on the precipice of 900 trophies as well as halfway to my Crow Mastery however this is where things started getting tough he still got it in we spent the next 2 hours just waffling between 890 and 850 I mean there were some pretty great moments there it is followed by some tough defeats dude there's just too much dang it now didn't matter too much for the Mastery as with Mastery you'll eventually get it even if you're just going up and down however remember I want to hit 1,50 trophies as well so we buckled down and we started winning finish him [Music] off [Music] okay Victory there it is and at the end of the day I hit my mastery cap and and finished off at 940 trophies and about 3/4 of the way to Gold three now coming in on day three I knew that I was going to get the master today but I really needed to get the trophies up now the boys wanted to play some brawl Ball but Crow Is Not Great into the meta on this map I was constantly facing either longrange Brawlers like Piper Angelo and be who would outrange and outgun me or tanks like BB and Draco who would just flat out run straight at me and laugh at Crow's pathetic damage after just a couple games that were a couple losses I knew that I was in for a rough day but I also knew that if I just kept playing overall I'd end up getting the Mastery however I started the day at 940 trophies and despite the Mastery slowly increasing the trophies they were not and after a handful of games Aaron had to go so I decided to call in the big guns and invite my friend and a pro player from tribe Zulan now I figured from here the games would be a s right however bro we just got destroyed again wait wait we get Zulan in here and we start losing should you be playing for tribe okay so maybe not the greatest of stars and honestly I was thinking that we should probably change modes cuz this is just like it's not the map for Crow but I mean we're already here so we just kept playing there we go nice and then it finally came down to just one more match to get my Crow Mastery dead dead all right nice nice nice nice means you on with the push up the middle Lex is a bot is going to be no more and there we go new player icon new title hey my first Mastery ever and with that I had completed one of my two goals but since I really hadn't gained any trophies in the past day I still had a pretty tough p ahead me to get rank 35 however I had a plan now over the years I've made a lot of friends in Brawl stars and some of them are professional players and one that I've known since the very beginning of brawl is Bobby Bobby is the captain of stamina Esports you know the the world championship runnerup last year he is an incredible player as well as he's got a great YouTube channel that you should definitely go check out now you might be wondering how someone with a million subscribers like Lex doesn't have a rank 35 even on his main it kind of sucks so I sent him a message asking for his help to make the push from 940 that I was currently at up to rank 35 so with his Pro teammate Zar we got into the team and we went into battle on dueling Beatles now the game started out kind of like what you would imagine I've already died a trillion times it's all good it's what we do Bobby and Zar dominating and me just doing my job dotting up people with poison slowing charging tanks and making some plays when I could and very early in the push we started seeing a lot of cheese comps revolving around Draco and a Healer like this comp kit Draco po dude bro this is so cheesy it's horrible oh I hate this I'm going to save my slops for the Draco when he gets jumped on yes yes yes you down Poco nice nice there we go that's it take that cheesy comp out of here now the other thing that you see when you start pushing up in trophies are duplicate Brawlers like this double BB team double BB but aside from this one time when I totally didn't die to Bubbles it honestly wasn't too bad oh I'm going to hit I got hit by three freaking bro this is my Nemesis Buzz oh it's them oh my gosh okay okay okay okay okay now before we started playing I noticed that my friend Corey was pushing his Byron and dueling Beatles as well but he was like up over, 1300 trophies and well brawl star matchmaking they decided that we should play how are you why you killing me every time and needless to say it did not go well yeah we just got wrecked but on the bright side since they were 3 to 400 trophies above us we didn't lose trophies nor did we lose our streak thanks Underdog after that we were cruising but the cheese comps well they started to ramp up as well like when we face this gray tank comp where gray just basically makes a portal to the center and the tanks just keep rushing over and over and over again and then after that I saw this really strange comp of like Lily and double throwers and honestly I was pretty confused until I realized hey these are my friends they're sniping us but we can't look like we're we're in trading we got to we got to play you guys know if you watch my Channel at all you know them now I was going easy on them cuz I knew that they were just having fun but Bobby and Zar they had no mercy they're stuck in the corner shout out to Andy and koal and lyx they're my boys and then after another game where we smashed the competition I got rank 31 this is now a my highest ever on Crow back when I got Global number one it was just a little over a thousand that was back when it was much harder to push higher ranks 4 and 1/2 years ago but the winning didn't stop there because we steamrolled through people and their cheese yes Bobby we'll just take them all three out take them all three out oh boy that is until we met the ultimate cheese The Immortal Draco bro [Music] like what do we you can't kill the you can't this is cheese is way better than the last cheese okay kill both of his healers both of his healers look it here it goes again like what do you do what do you do here then Zar had to go so another friend Aaron came into play and the winning didn't stop am I joke to you yes you are a joke we passed rank 32 but Bobby popped off bro and then before Bobby had to go for the day we had one last game against Triple tanks triple tank all right this is going to be fun dude they just keep bum rushing the center that's they just keep cycling okay take your triple tanks out of here bro we'll pick this back up later when Bobby comes back on the next day we had a new map and a new mode in Kaboom Canyon and this has always been a good map for Crow from the wide open lanes to the grass in the Middle where Crow's poisons are very valuable in addition to that it's Heist and Crow has a hypercharged super that deals massive damage there it is oh also I was playing with Bobby and Zar I mean I I guess that helps too I went 4 and eight we're not going to worry about that we started off strong and only after two games I reached rank 33 these games were actually easier than Hot Zone as we had room to run Bobby was blasting people with Colt oh we get two really nice clips and we got damage gear Colt on safe Zar was getting crazy safe damage with Melody and I was dotting people up and then leaping in with a hypercharge on the safe and then we started seeing really strange comps like double Melody which I got to say is not fun to face but we were also playing against some other people that we did know like this melody that turned out to be former Tri Pro player and a friend of mine Dre go Lex go Lex jump Lex jump Lex I better see this game ending with Lex on the save okay I think he jumped and died there we go good win let's see who it is oh it's Dr those guys suck by the way easy win Dr come on now also though matchmaking was it was taking some time and I kind of got bored matchmaking is so fun I really love it this used to be like Cory's camera that he used to do hey guys it's Cory oh here we go got a game now we hadn't lost a single game and Riding High On That win streak I needed to get one more match for rank 34 wait wait I was looking at the wrong person I was looking at I thought I was Zar okay there's a solid push we're still going can they finish it off okay this is bad bad bad bad okay we go in we go in there it is there it is but I am at 123 trophies now now the games were definitely getting tougher but the wins were still coming in there it is oh that's Aaron we were playing with Aaron yesterday now I was only two games left from rank 35 when we spawned in against double cult and that is really dangerous but this was actually one of our easier games Bobby's I want to T I didn't even touch the save Bobby just destroyed so it's hard look at that look at that that was our quickest and easiest game yet no ah no paty no well that was patchy let's give him the the triple thumbs for patchy so then I had just one game to reach true Crow Mastery gold three rank 35 Crow and it came down to this last moment uh I should have figured the game to get rank 35 or tier 30 rank 35 they got an Angelo and they got a CT all right Melody do work oh was is it he go oh he went that okay cool Colts coming in on this side I'm going to have to try to block here if he comes [Music] over let's go finish it off boys right there 3 2 1 that is rank 35 right there let's get that rank 35 achieved reward of 60 bling and that is how you master Crow
