I remember doing everything the guide book told me to do to get a Shedinja but EVERY time the scene would show nincada evolving into a ninjask and I would immediately soft reset, re-review everything, evolve again, rinse and repeat.
Finally I just gave up and decided, โFine Iโll just play with the Ninjask.โ Now imagine my shame upon finally opening up my bag to check his stats and finally seeing Shedinja.
Overall great review.
EDIT: fixed grammatical errors
Shedinja strikes me as a skill gate/teaching Pokรฉmon. Wonder Guard is an excellent way to check a playerโs knowledge of the type chart and passive damage.
I mean, I suppose that has nothing to do with competitive play at the highest level, but I could see Shedinja causing some trouble against more casual players.
Great video, I would have never expected to see Shedinja usage on VGC.
The only criticism I have is that he did not mentioned the rise in shedinja stall teams paired with dugtrio during late gen 6 in OU, when the whole tier got fatter.
Shedinja is my favourite pokemon so this was a great video to see.
I also love a good underdog story, and what's funny is after is Shedinja's fall from grace after Gen 4, he finally makes a great comeback in the most recent VGC seasons.
I'm a little surprised Shedinja couldn't work in gen VI ubers. Weren't kyurem's forms basically nonexistent then?
It's a shame how stealth rock screws it (and other pokemon with sturdy, for that matter) over completely
