Every MARVEL POST-CREDITS Scene That Went Nowhere...and When They Will Pay Off!

[Music] hey welcome back to screen Crush I'm Ryan Ary and Marvel has teased a lot of new movies characters and TV shows since endgame right I mean it has now been almost 5 years since the last Avengers movie and those teases just keep piling up yeah and where is this all going oh oh don't worry buddy we are going to go through every Marvel Cinematic Universe teaser and explain exactly when we think they're going to pay off and how it all connects to the new big bad and Avenger Secret Wars now the MCU has been dropping post credits teases since the first Iron Man I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger initiative hell sometimes they tease and then don't even have an idea for the next movie like when Iron Man seemed to ask Thunderbolt Ross if the Abomination could join the Avengers if I told you we were putting a team together it used to be so simple we would see the Twins and then they would appear a couple movies down the line but no fear we're going to tell you exactly how all these projects and teases will come together not in one Avengers movie not in two Avengers movies but in three different different crossover Avengers movies that's right we think that Marvel is setting up a third Secret Avengers movie and then all the post-credit scenes are going to make sense and before we get started I want to remind you guys of our merch store where we designed all the Thanos the Quant Mania post credit scene sets up an epic Army of kangs but then it seems like the TVA now has them under control I guess one of them caused a little bit of a ruckus on 616 adjacent roomm but they handled it and now Avengers the Kang Dynasty has become Untitled Avengers film all of these Kang teases may end up being abandoned completely or possibly explained away with a single line she was recruited by Special Forces so the MCU is in a state of flux but when you look at the pattern of their teasers you can still see a road map that leads up to Avengers Secret Wars so here's the way we're going to going to do this I'm going to spend the first part of the video explaining all the teasers and then at the end I'm going to explain how all of these threads are going to come together in a new Secret Avengers Trilogy so here are the unresolved story threads and post-credit scenes W division had two post-credit scenes that have mostly been resolved but the big mystery is what the heck happened to Tucker Carlson Vision I request elaboration next in Falcon and the Winter Soldier there were three unresolved story lines John Walker is recruited by Val we're going to need a US agent now we do see in wakanda Forever that Val is the director of the CIA and we know that John Walker's us agent is going to be a member of the Thunderbolts in that film that hopefully is going to still release next year but later I'm going to explain how all of that will tie into the next Avengers film and the Multiverse Saga Falcon the Winter Soldier also featured the heel turn of Sharon Carter revealing that she was the mysterious power broker The Crime Boss who rules Mador and tries to replicate the super soldier serum the show ends with her back working for the government while winter solders third tease also saw Zemo get arrested by the wakandans now that show established Zemo as one of the mcu's Premier villains I was hoping that the mcu's Thunderbolts would be a team of anti-heroes and villains led by Zemo and now I'm thinking these threads will tie together even better and set up a conflict that will tie into that Secret Avengers movie that I'm going to talk about a little bit later so Black Widow has a credit scene that's kind of unresolved the movie ends with Val recruiting yena belova to assassinate Clint Barton now obviously we saw this pay off in the show Hawkeye but we also know that in the Thunderbolts y Elena is still working for Val Val has become a kind of like reverse Nick Fury Gathering assassins Misfits and anti-heroes into a Black Ops Team I think that wakanda forever gave us a big hint about the Thunderbolts true Mission president wants to take offensive action against Banda next there is the shanqi and the legend of the 10 Rings which had two post-credit scenes set up to very different stories in one Shang Chi's sister xjay Ling has rebuilt her father's criminal Empire and the 10 Rings now this is significant because the 10 Rings is a far-reaching terrorist organization with operatives hidden all around the world maybe they even have agents embedded in the world's governments the other post-credit scene is far more cryptic remember the beacon the 10 Rings sent out now we thought for sure that this meant the 10 Rings were going to be summoning Kang or that they were connected to Kamala Khan's Bengal but it turned out that the Bengal was simply one half of the quantum bands and the Rings remain a mystery all we know for sure is that Carol Bruce Wong and Aquafina have no idea what the heck they are the eternals post-credit scenes are the ones that are least likely to be resolved in one Dane Whitman tries to summon the courage to touch the Ebony Blade his ancestors cured sword when the voice of MERS Ali's blade interrupts sure you're ready for that Mr Whitman now this was supposed to set up a blade movie where they would team up and that movie has now been delayed and delayed again but we're going to assume that it's still happening and remember that movie ends with a Celestial taking away seriousy and half the other eternals so he can judge if Earth should still be allowed to exist while the other half of the team is still in space looking for more of their kind then they get a visit from Harry styles' AOS AKA starf Fox the brother of Thanos and his teleporting companion pip the troll your friends are in big trouble and we know what to find them so this is actually the post-credit scene that out of all of these I'm going to talk about I want to see this one pay off the most and I think that it will just not in an eternals movie and it won't be explained a away like this wow oh and there's also um where was it a oh yeah here a giant statue protruding from the Indian Ocean next Hawkeye now the only thing unresolved here is that there is now a new Hawkeye bishop and we've not seen what she's been up to since the end of that show but remember her for later next up we have Spider-Man no way home which ended with some random nobody being Spider-Man in a regular cloth suit and no special armor and the post-credit scene showed Tom Hardy on loan from the sonye maybe I should go to New York and speak to this uh Spider-Man we are drunk after Hardy is summoned back to this universe I'm not sure how I got here has to do with Spider-Man I think we see that a little baby venom has been left behind teasing that Tom Holland might get to go through the whole classic alien black suit storyline from the comics nice moonight ends with the reveal that there is a third more violent personality that served konu willingly meet my friend Jake lley teasing that Steven and Mark were never actually ever freed from conu service Multiverse of madness has two unresolved post-credit scenes in one Doctor Strange is taking a stroll down the street when Clea his love interest from the comics appears can I help you if you caused an incursion then we're going to fix it she and Steven head off to stop incursions together now what's an incursion I'll let the smartest man in the universe explain an incursion occurs when the boundary between two universes erods and they Collide destroying one or both entirely now I remember incursions for later the other Big Tease of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shows us the next big bad of the Multiverse Saga who the Revenge of pizza Papa Doctor Strange Has Not Seen the Last of the pizza Papa M Marvel has one unresolved post-credit scene Cala there's something different in your jeans like a mutation now the reveal that Kamala K was a mutant seemed like just a cute Easter egg until the post-credit scene of the Marvels where we meet the actual X-Men but more on them in just a bit my favorite unresolved post-credit scenes are actually from Thor love and thunder the movie ends with Thor raising a n omnipotent God child named love and in one post-credit scene we find out that yet another MCU afterlife is actually real Shane Foster Heim doll and presumably Odin fra and Loki are all in valala welcome to valala I actually think this is going to be very significant in the hidden Avengers movie that I'm going to talk about in just a bit and the other post credit scene teases Hercules showing up to Menace Thor played by none other than Roy Kent himself do you understand me my son yes Father where's your manners now this is such perfect casting that dear God I hope we get to see it play out in the film seeing the Arrogant Hercules face off against a wider more fatherly Thor would really bring that character full circle now shehawk set up a few different things one we have a hero who can apparently rearrange the universe because of a glitch in The Matrix that error on our platform has been fixed and also we saw Wong breaking the Abomination out of prison so he is apparently living with him at karage but more importantly we have introduced Hawk son's scar this is my son scar sure this was the laziest most last minute way to introduce Hulk's Barbarian son from the comics and yes it comes off a little bit like we have Mark Ruffo at home but he is going to be a part of a future MCU project that you can probably guess that we're going to talk about in just a bit werewolf By Night the mcu's most underrated project doesn't really have a post-credit scene but it does introduce man thing hey what's up well of course I was going to go find you the man thing is an interdimensional being that lives at the Nexus of all real realities so he will clearly fit well into the Multiverse Saga wakanda forever left a few dangling plot threads one of them is the introduction of tala junr who will probably be aged up somehow and take his dad's place get that cat out of the way we saw aoer running around in the Midnight Angel armor which was going to originally set up deny Guerrero's Disney Plus show but we have a video up now about why that show might have been canceled and also this movie sets up a pair of international conflicts one remember namore still believes that war is coming with the surface world and he sees wakanda as a potential ally and two that the US government is no longer bowing to wakanda's dominance around the world president wants to take offensive action against wakanda destabilization both of these are going to be key and what I think is going to be that Secret Avengers film Guardians of Galaxy 3 sets up two future movies one the Further Adventures of Star-Lord which we actually made a fun video about where I theorize that they should combine that movie with eternals 2 since Peter is half Celestial he could help the eternals rescue their people from his people and the other post credit scene sets up a new lineup of Guardians led by Rocket Raccoon yeah person this is a lot I know I know but we're almost through it and then I'm going to tell you how all of this is going to come together now secret Invasion may have been a low water mark for the MCU but it sets up a couple of cool future stories Sonia Farnsworth recruited Gaia to help her track down scroll sleeper cells and the president of the United States declared open season on Scrolls causing chaos around the globe we know who you are we know how to find you and we will kill every last one of you and then there's the Marvels which has two huge setups Camala Khan pulling her best Nick Fury impression to recruit Kate Bishop into a new team of Young Avengers youve just become part of a much larger universe and the big one Monica Rambo waking up in an alternate Earth where the fox X-Men movies are apparently still Cannon Charles asked for an update I'll com by a check on you later and finally we have the echo post credits tease which sets up the Daredevil Born Again plot where Wilson Fisk is going to run for mayor okay so where is this all going okay so when you step back and look at the whole picture you can see a clear pattern emerging there are different groups of stories here fige even acknowledged this once and uh as you start to see you talk about Ghost Rider we've got blade we've got Doctor Strange got the supernatural angles we've got the street level with our announcement of daredevils and Cosmic for instance we have the street level heroes this includes Daredevil Echo Punisher and now Spider-Man now we've talked before about how Kingpin is likely to win his election as mayor and Daredevil born again and then Spider-Man 4 can be a street level movie that teams him up with these gritty Heroes like Daredevil Ekko Jessica Jones Luke Cage as they try to take down Kingpin but in the middle of all this Spider-Man's going to find that black suit which will make him stronger but remember the suit is part of a hive mine that stretches across universes 80 billion light years of Hive knowledge across universes so this is how Peter through his suit will have a connection to the Multiverse Saga and I actually think he's going to have this suit for multiple movies and it will very slowly corrupt him throughout the events of Secret Wars also during this we're going to see the Kingpin become very powerful he's going to be cracking down on Vigilantes and combining his criminal Resources with his resources as mayor now this enlarging of his Empire is going to bring him into conflict with two other large criminal organizations the 10 rings and the power broker and I think all of this is going to be setting up a huge crossover Avengers film that essentially adapts The Siege crossover from the comics The Siege featured Norman Osborne leading the governments of the world to attack new Asgard which was floating over Oklahoma wakanda forever established that n once allies outside of the human race secret Invasion set up that the humans are now anti scroll and in the Marvels Scrolls just found a refuge in new Asgard so adding to all that the Thunderbolts a team that is led by the CIA Val and one of Val's directives is now to cause offensive action against wakanda so V will want to use the Thunderbolts to Institute regime change in New Asgard and eventually wakanda I think that neore will make an alliance with new Asgard and in turn wakanda will stand up with no more and this will kick off World War III pitting the world's government governments against these superpowered nations yeah but person why would all the world governments do this it seems very silly and shortsighted well I think the world governments are being manipulated by organizations like the 10 rings and by Sharon Carter see I think Sharon Carter as the power broker would really manipulate this into happening she has a lot of sway at the CIA and she would see the monetary value in seizing new Asgard and wakandan Technology we're about to have full access to government secrets prototype weapons now this conflict would be a World War so we would see massive conflicts with various governments and criminal Empires declaring war on the superhero community and leaving Earth devastated Kart Tage would get involved the Abomination would get involved I'm talking about a death toll in the millions billions with a b and also Sonia Farnsworth is recruiting a team of British Heroes to deal with threats like this and this is where Gaia one of the most powerful beings in the world will be called in I could see Gaia infiltrating new Asgard being a secret agent to work against the aliens on the planet in order to undermine the regime regardless I think new Asgard is going to fall in this movie this apocalyptic War would also give us a chance to open the gates of aalla and see the dead of Asgard return to defend their people and battle also I could totally see Hercules showing up on Earth to fight Thor and then V convincing him to join the Thunderbolts and invade new Asgard now while all that's going on while Earth is basically being destroyed in war the cosmic Marvel universe is going to be in a state of upheaval because of incursions now I think that we're going to see incursions pop up in a few different places one all of the dark horror characters like blade werewolf by night man thing Agatha they're going to team up and form the midnight Suns and with man thing they're going to have access to the Multiverse so whatever their story is going to be it's also going to tie into the Multiverse and incursions next of course Kamala Khan is going to form the Young Avengers and I think for a Disney Plus show composed of her Kate Bishop Cassie Lang scar Elijah Bradley America Chavez maybe iron har and a grown-up Billy and Tommy maximoff that are going to be introduced in the Agatha show and they will recruit or be recruited by white Vision to find Wanda maximoff this is going to be adapting the children's Cru crus comic book story but this quest with the help of America Chavez is going to take them through the Multiverse which is also a young Avenger storyline from the comics so Wanda will be key here because she can dreamwalk and manipulate the Multiverse she could end up being the key to preserving the Multiverse or remaking it entirely and this is where it's significant the Kamala Khan is a mutant they're going to be traveling through the Multiverse in Worlds where mutants already exist kamala's mutation would allow her to be accepted by the X-Men which I think could come to a head in the second Avengers movie that is going to focus on incursions all of the superheroes interfering with the Multiverse in phases 4 and five are going to be causing these universes to collide but the bigger threat was in the post-credit scene of shangqi what is it a beacon they're sending a message a message to where the beacon now we've been theorizing for years that these Rings could be a beacon to semon Galactus and that maybe these Rings were originally worn by one of his Heralds but then our own Colton Ogburn adds a wrinkle to this Theory what if Galactus instead of eating planets eats universes Maybe maybe his Cosmic duty is to roam the Multiverse eating universes that cause incursions this would mean that galatis could be out there in the cosmic Marvel Universe slowly devouring the MCU Universe we also think this could be the plot of the 1964 set Fantastic 4 film which I think is going to take place in a different Universe I think the FF universe is going to be destroyed forcing them to travel into our universe to survive and to warn us about Galactus so if Galactus is eating the universe who is the only force that can stand in his way Jonathan Frakes no the celestial and this is where we can bring in Star-Lord Star Fox and the eternals they could go out into space to try to save the eternals from the celestials but while they're there they see the celestials face off against galatis and lose this would be like at the beginning of infinity War when Thanos defeats the Hulk except you know with actual Gods doctor strange and Clea would also show up maybe to assemble a team of cosmic Heroes to try and fight off Galactus or to try to convince Galactus to eat another Universe Another Universe you say yes in the comic book time Runs Out The Heroes of the 616 Universe actually have to destroy a whole other Universe just so theirs could live and it's pretty obvious that what we're seeing here is a buildup to Avengers versus the X-Men when the fox universe is going to face off against the MCU now all of this would be that second Avengers movie Avengers versus X-men while the MCU is still reeling from a devastating World War the remnants of the Avengers suddenly have to deal with the X-Men only one of these universes can survive and the other one will die otherwise both universes are going to be erased from existence and the other is going to be eaten by galatis oh no The Avengers fight off the X-Men and somehow doesn't really matter how this ruins everything the entire Multiverse goes to war Galactus overeats and the point is the Multiverse ends now in the comics this is where Dr Doom remakes the Multiverse into battle World a patchwork Planet composed of segments from many realities which Doom then rules as God Emperor doom and if this happens in the MCU I think Doom will be able to do this with the help of Wanda maximoff in the Children's Crusade he manipulates an amnesiac Wanda to steal her power and this would be a great way to introduce Doom to the MCU here and also Wanda saving the Multiverse from collapse would be a great way to redeem all of her past sins and send Elizabeth Olsen out on a high note so it would be Wanda who takes these fragments of the universe and forms battle World an alien planet made of variance where we would see Toby McGuire Spider-Man fight alongside Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as they all work to appeal to Wanda's better nature to turn on Doom now I'm fairly sure that this battle in Avengers Secret Wars is what the MCU is actually building toward and I think that they can easily incorporate all of these characters and teases into this massive story in a way that makes sense and really adds to this epic scale I also think that Avengers Secret Wars is going to be a blood bath lots and lots and lots of characters are going to die afterwards the MCU will be rebooted into a much less complex reality where the Fantastic 4 The Avengers and the X-Men have always existed in the same universe the new leader of the Avengers will of course be Madison King Madison is with two n one y but it's not where you think and then maybe we'll get rebooted versions of the classic heroes played by new actors for a new generation and then maybe Dear God maybe we'll finally get to resolve the greatest post credits Cliffhanger of all time I will be back big shout out to the co-writer of this video
