Wasn't that the govt. number?
Real number was probably way higher than that.
Pretty tame, was hoping for more drama.

Egyptian President has track record of human rights abuses. He does 60 Minutes interview in NYC but disliked that he was asked about it. Interview goes fine but afterwards Egyptian government officials contact producer and ask that it isnβt aired. She says no dice. They try to essentially bribe her with VIP treatment for upcoming 60 minutes filming in Cairo, she says no thank you.
Thatβs it.

Want something similar? Here's an interview of India's current Prime Minister, which he walked out of because he couldn't face the questions.
To give a background, Narendra Modi, a far-right politician, who believes in Hindu supremacy, had given a free hand to people from Gujarat to kill Muslims during the 2002 riots that had followed the anti-Hindu killings from the same year.
The 2002 Gujarat pogrom was responsible for the deaths of more than 2000 Muslims, and Modi was at that time, accused of initiating and even condoning the violence.

I really enjoy this show every week. Great stories, fearless reporting. This was a very real interview in that you could see the president get a little annoyed with the questions, sometimes answering a question with a question. If they post it, they had another awesome story today about a new source of energy this guy came up with in his garage, that could potentially change the future.
Edit: heres the story I was reffering to

Hell yes. This is why freedom of the press is so important.
The people with shit tied around their heads are all dead btw. That's to keep their mouths closed
I wouldn't be taking them up on that interview in Egypt...
