How Do BATTLE STARS Work In Season 7? (What Happens When You Buy All 100 Tiers On The Battle Pass?)

[Music] all right so a lot of people have questions about the new battle pass loadout and i'll admit it is a bit confusing so battle stars have returned but not in the way you should remember them so back in the day you could collect battle stars and they would actually rank you up on the battle pass but this time it's a little different so in the top right it says spend battle stars to claim rewards level up to get more battle stars so in the past the battle pass worked like this you would unlock different rewards at different tiers of the past for example this banner could be tier one this backplane could be tier two and so on so you would unlock these in that order now however when you earn these battle stars which again are acquired when you level up you can pick from anything on a certain page so this right here this whole square is page one so i can pick anything from here i don't have to be a certain level or tier to unlock this the little saucer for example i just need seven battle stars i have ten so i can basically unlock anything on this whole page however to get to page 2 let me go down it says right here claim 4 more rewards or reach level 10 to unlock the page so you can't purchase anything from page 2 yet until you reach either of those requirements so if i bought four things on this screen then we could skip the rest we wouldn't have to buy any and we could go straight to page two and start unlocking things from here or if you reach level ten and then to get to page 3 you have to claim 10 rewards from page 1 or 2 or be level 20. so you see how this works you can basically skip some things you don't want so i imagine people would never buy this you wouldn't buy this you probably wouldn't buy the spray and i don't know if you would buy the loading screen right away either so let's see that's three for the loading screen three for the spray that's six and this that's nine so that's nine stars you don't really have to spend on the first screen you don't ever have to buy them until the very end if you want so then you could purchase from this page instead so essentially it lets you hop around the battle pass but you can't go too far ahead let's see what the requirements are for the last page 10. you have to be level 90 to unlock this page or claim 89 rewards above so from pages 1 to 9 89 rewards so it's a nice feature it's a little confusing but at the same time it is pretty cool because you can skip the things you would never use and you can go straight for the things you actually want but they did put a limit on it as you saw with the two requirements for each single page so i like that so you guys know that i absolutely love to grind out the battle pass however there's a ton of reactive items in this one and as per the last i think three or four seasons i've bought the entire thing just to help me get videos out faster for you guys not for my own benefit because like i said i love to grind so i actually wasn't gonna buy all 100 tiers this time but my good friend learn to earn literally sent me enough money for a donation to buy the entire battle pass that's what he said it was for if you saw in one of my prior videos i was praising him because he helped me out so much on my channel i love this guy he's such a nice man and he literally said hey if you want to buy the battle pass here's the money go ahead and do it for content so that's exactly what i'm going to do we're going to buy all the way up to rick sanchez so let's see what this is going to cost so in the bottom right it says claim all pages for 500 stars so how much is this going to be so we can buy levels yeah look at this all the stars right here we're going to go ahead and purchase this and it looks like it's going to be 12 800 v bucks because i already have 10 stars so instead of 500 it's going to be 490. now it does look like you can still get a little bit of a discount there it says buy a bundle of 25 levels at a reduced price of 1850 v bucks normally 3 3750. so wait a minute is that an item shop right now i swear i saw that because we may want to do that first that'll make it cheaper yeah right there so 1850. so i'm going to go ahead and do that first oh this is on the ps5 and it always messes up watch it glitch out here here we go can't wait to get the error oh no no air okay nice but when i buy v box it's definitely gonna glitch out okay so now we have 135 stars and let's see what level are we now we're level 27 so now let's see what we can do let's go down a bit so because we're not quite 30 we can't purchase anything from these yet and we need 17 more rewards so i have enough stars to start buying some things down here and then basically unlock some of these future pages but like i said i'm buying 100 tiers anyway so i'm not going to do that but i was just showing you how this works pretty cool so let's go ahead and claim all again and we're gonna this time only spend ten thousand nine hundred and fifty v bucks so let's go ahead and do that so obviously i'm gonna have to spend eighty dollars yikes all right get ready here comes the error unless they fixed it that there it is now i'm never gonna get these v bucks until i literally log off entirely out of my epic games account and back on the ps5 it's so stupid all right 20 minutes later and here we are we now have the v bucks so let's go back and we're going to buy everything again so here we go one more time 10 950 v bucks we're going to hold that and yes it didn't glitch out 365 battle studs are you kidding me oh wait a minute you tell me i have to literally go through and purchase everything there's no way to just purchase them all myself so it looks like there's also prerequisites which means you have to do something before you can purchase it so look at this i have 500 stars but i can't purchase rick because on the bottom right it says claim rewards from any page first so you literally have to buy something before you can get that so let me buy this oh i hate how you have to hold it this is gonna take me forever so i just bought that now i should be able to buy no i can't claim rewards from any page it looks like i have to buy 99 things for this how do i claim them all at once how about this hold to claim all rewards there we go okay i was gonna say wait a minute there we go so there's the entire battle pass let's go down the good old rick geez that's a lot of items there he is and the butter robot nice so there we go c137 rick by the way alright so there you go i bought all 100 tiers but we're not quite done yet because there's bonus rewards and it looks like you still need battle stars so in order to lock for example the beachcomber sunny i have to purchase every single one of these let's see that's 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 battle stars that i still have to level up so i can start unlocking these right now so even though i bought all the tiers i can still grind i love it so i still need battle stars and there's a page two with a toxic rick and then a doctor sloane with shades and then the masked bunnyman and the mechaglow zig that looks sweet so tons more grinding to do and then we've got the bonus level based rewards which we don't even know yet i have to claim 10 more rewards to unlock so if someone power levels will be able to see what these are and then there's a page four and a page five can't wait so there you go that's how the new battle pass system works with the brand new battle stars feature it's pretty fun it's a little confusing at the end of the day it's basically the same thing you can now just skip things you don't want such as the banner icons and the sprays i love it hopefully you guys enjoy this video a like is always appreciated and don't forget to use my
