How DAZN Ruined KSI vs Logan Paul

so in the last video we were talking about how ksi and Logan Paul are having their long-awaited boxing rematch in November and how differently is being organized this time the main difference being that Eddie Hearn the guy pulling all the strings of the event was refusing to allow youtubers to fight on the undercard now in this video we're gonna talk about the press conference they just had a strikes left and right for making commentary videos on the ksi Logan Paul rematch so I take my partially finished video when I put it up unlisted to see if I run into any upload issues myself and sure enough just seconds after the video finishes processing I get a copyright claim from the zone the copyright situation around this event is out of hand and it needs to be addressed now as far as Eddie her and banning youtubers from the undercard it seems like he's been getting quite the backlash with people who were directly involved in the first fight talking about the controversial decision true Jordy made a video on it face sensei made a video about it Deji Joe eller even Jake Paul made a video titled [ __ ] you ksi cuz you know we all fear the almighty demonetized a shin God and to sum up Jake's video he basically goes you can't take me out of this event my face was on the poster of the first one and I mean jokes aside this ending right here is much more satisfying than this ending and after seeing the video Eddie Hearn spun in his Bond villain chair and tweeted good video let's talk so it feels like gears are starting to move and we might see some youtubers on the undercard after all the first step in this direction was having Jake Paul participate in the first press conference to promote the fight what was hilarious about it though is how they didn't give him a mic he was just holding this drawing pad and scribbling on it the entire time it's almost like he was one of those annoying toddlers who just wanted to be there so bad and they were like listen we're not gonna allow you to ruin this event so here's a drawing pad just sit there like a good little boy and don't open your mouth but I mean there was nothing to ruin cuz the bar was already as low as it gets now I can't show any footage from the press conference cuz these corporate guys are out here striking down everybody's videos but in order to see the big picture I think it's important that we make a quick recap ksi and Logan Paul came out and did a face-off before the conference kicked off and this lasted an uncomfortable amount of time and Eddie Hearn was right there behind them seeing nothing but dollar signs Logan Paul was the first to grab the mic and immediately he digs into ksi talking about how his family kicked him out of the house on Christmas how nobody was there to support him how his trainer is a nobody and how he's got no chance of winning and then he goes I feel like this says more about Logan than it does about ksi I don't know about you but I don't know what herpes smells like your sense of smell has to be very well versed in the nuances of herpes for you to be like yep that's herpes all right and that's not something that I would brag about it if I was Logan the entire conference is like we're back in the schoolyard watching - annoying ass kids try to outsmart each other well everyone watching grows exponentially Dumber then ksi grabs the mic and makes a joke about Logan's dead dog and Logan acts like his whole day is ruined now I like dogs just as much as the next person but Logan was out here talking about how ksi his family doesn't love him and as soon as ki brings up the dog he's like okay that crosses the line bro and then the level of discourse just plunges down to dick jokes and yomomma insults screaming at each other and just making noises I have to say up all the time scare sign Logan Pole have roasted each other this has to be the weakest in the cringes battle yet but what I think is interesting is how the demeanor of both Logan Paul and ksi changes as the press conference wraps up you can tell that Logan has gained confidence he's standing up he's dominating the conversation I mean sure he comes back with consistent idiotic replies but he's getting into ksi his head who meanwhile has sat down it seems like he's just given up and is a lot more submissive by the time the conference is over now does this mean the dynamic will reflect in the ring not necessarily but the reason why these press conferences are important is because both of them are now gonna go train and the morale they take with them will affect their training Logan will be confident knowing he dominated ksi at the press conference and this will boost his motivation while ksi will subconsciously feel demotivated he may snap out of it eventually he might even knock have Logan Paul in the first round who knows but to deny the impact of the verbal back and forth at the press conference would be short-sighted not to mention Logan has not stopped training since the first fight happened ksi put out an album he went on tour he's got a lot of catching up to do and if I were to make a prediction right now my money would be on Logan Paul this way how weird the whole thing was I'm still excited about this fight I can't wait to see the next press conference and I hope we're gonna see Jake Paul on the undercard which looks like it's something they're already working on so there will likely be a few more youtubers fighting in November but there's still so much missing that made last year's event so great they're still not allowing true Jordy and Lawrence McKenna to be the official live commentators and what's even worse is this whole copyright crusade they're going on now let me paint a picture here last year in the months leading up to the fight everybody on YouTube was making videos on the topic some videos getting 16 million seventeen million views that's more than the press conferences got themselves YouTube videos drove a lot of traffic to the fight which played a big role in building up the hype and indirectly marketing the event and you know why because nobody made any copyright claims on the videos talking about the upcoming boxing match this year there's a whole new group of corporate people promoting the event ksi and Logan Paul have sold the rights to the zone and match from sports and he turns company and these guys are automatically making copyright claims before the videos even go live so basically the biggest marketing partners that promoted the fight last year are being banned from talking about it this time around even ksi himself got claimed and had his livestream of the press conference temporarily taken down I mean how do you copyright claim the channel of the main guy involved in this event this is so mind-boggling it doesn't make any sense I get why they would want that for the fight because last year they lost millions of dollars due to the pirated twitch stream but to stop people from talking about the press conferences is incredibly short-sighted and there I say idiotic Eddie Hearn was on Logan Paul spot cast the other day and the interaction between them further goes to show how big disconnect lies between these guys and the YouTube community I'm looking at this guy's own flyer that you guys put out 21 hours ago and he's not on it but every other fight is on it for the season is it yeah we talked about it we're going to use the audience the channels at you control I care about subscribers and again I think it's admirable how this guy is the first traditional businessman in boxing to venture into merging worlds with social media starts but he's taking too much and not giving nearly enough in return I mean at one point Jake Paul comes on the podcast and Eddie Hearn is like oh my daughter's love Joe Josie wah and then this happens if you could get a video message from Joe Joe say whoa I think we've got a great chance of getting your fire this is really random right do you mind saying to me hello Isabela and Sofia thank you so much I mean one moment he's talking about how he wants to protect the integrity of boxing and he doesn't like youtubers but then he immediately turns into a fanboy when Jake Paul gets him a shout-out from Joe Joe see why you can't have it both ways bro you either show the proper respect to the online community or you don't leech off of us to grow your boxing business completely disregarding the value that we're bringing to the table in my opinion the entire operation of how does own and Eddie Hearn are handling this event is so short-sighted it doesn't work in their interests and it's kind of sad to see ksi and the Paul brothers go with it instead of standing up for YouTube more but it is what it is I mean they've secured the bag at this point so why would they anyway last week I announced the little contest on my Instagram I said I'd pick three participants and give them a shout-out and the winners are RDF to marry
