How ChatGPT Can Help You Create Complex Use Case Diagrams (Beware Analysts!)

foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Ty if it can create a use case diagram for us for a website selling shoes online the use case diagrams are often created to better understand the functionalities and the interactions that users might have with the system everyone who has created the use case diagram before knows that it's not so difficult but it's just a pain in the butt so why not ask jgbt to do it for us so first thing that we're going to do is we're going to open up GPT and then just ask it if it knows what the use case diagram is do you know what a use case diagram is of course it answers with that it knows what a use case diagram is so what I'm going to do now is I'm going to ask it if it can provide us a scenario in which a use case diagram can be used because I already have a scenario in mind I'm going to tell jet GPT the following line let me provide to you with a scenario and I want you to answer me with I understand if you have read that scenario and now I'm going to paste it in alright so now we're going to ask chechi PT to take this use case and turn it into a use case diagram by using the blend uml format it is important to mention the blend uml format because this is the format that we needed to be in in order to import it in draw.io current version of chat GPT is not capable yet of creating different kind of diagrams right within the jet so for that we basically need a different tool we will use draw.io in order to create the actual diagrams for us kgpt is finished making the use case diagram in the blend uml format so now we just need to copy the code and head on over to draw.io goat we open draw.io we go to arrange then we move to insert now right at insert we move to Advanced find the blend uml button remove what is already there and basically paste in the code what we got from chat gbt and then just hit insert and it will display on the screen so what do we have here we basically have the customer that can interact with the webshop system and we have the administrator inside of the workshop system can generate reports and manage anything so this gives us a great head start so now you can basically modify the diagram we can do this in two ways basically we can change it ourselves or we can ask jgpt to do it for us let's have a look so let's say we want to add one more functionality to the admin and we want to give it the functionality of managing users so let's go to jgbt and ask if it can add it to the diagram so please add the functionality the admin to manage users and then submit so chegebt is basically updating the diagram so that we can paste it back into the draw.io so as you can see it already added admin and manage users and GPT also explains how the diagram has been updated so let's copy the code once more head over to draw those IO and now actually what we need to do is we just need to double click this image select what is already there and paste in the code that we got from chatgpt and hit apply so there you have it you can see the admin over here that manages user accounts so it's that easy alright guys so that's basically how you can create a use case diagram by using chat GPT pretty useful right if you'd like to see more of this kind of content please consider giving a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel That helps out a lot alright see you in the next one
