how can you talk about this effort [Music] everybody says how can you talk about this effort when you see everybody's working so hard they have so many plans they are disciplined etc etc and you know that is definitely part of the judeo-christian ethic your hard work exacting plans and discipline while the law of least effort is based on the idea that nature's intelligence functions with effortless spontaneity Jesus talks about that winning in the New Testament Jesus talks about when he talks about you know the foxes have their holes and the birds fly them here and yet man has to work so hard so what is the laws of least effort it means harnessing the forces of the universe and becoming aligned with them there are three components to it the first is acceptance which means totally acceptance of yourself total acceptance of yourself and everybody else as they are you know what that does of course is removes the great burden of judgment and you also realize that everybody is as they are because of their conditioning of their state of awareness and of their situations and circumstances that's the first thing the second thing is responsibility the ability to respond creative live without reactivity so when you step back and you're not reactive you reach a hard line of intuition and creativity and imagination and the third is defenselessness means basically relinquishing your need to defend your point of view doesn't mean you don't have a point of view it just means that you're not attached to defending it so you give up being right and when you give up being right you ultimately get what you want so those are the three things okay acceptance responsibility defenselessness I have details of this in the seven spiritual laws of success but ultimately it means living a life without resistance and ultimately also going with the flow letting go and allowing yourself to flow with the forces of the universe
