♪You-oo-oo but you boom (beat boxing) ♪ - That "boo-oo" thing he
does, it sounds amazing. What up, guys! It's me and I have a big surprise
(explosion) for you guys! A big reveal, if you will. Just gonna go straight out and tell you, I have started (loudly
into mic) beatboxing! You wanna check it out? You wanna see how far I've come? Let's do it! (slap noises) You get it? I beat the box. Just kidding! I've actually
started beatboxing. Check it out: (upbeat music, punching sound effects) You get it? Boxing with beats? (laughs) Anyway! (laughs) Today we are going to be
looking at more beatbox videos of actual people who can beat box. Whenever I make a beatbox video, everyone and their mother,
especially their mother, emails me and they're like: "Oh you should check out
these other beatbox videos by Blah-blah-blah and blah-Blah-blah" So, we're doing that. I still feel like I've only
scratched the very surface of what beatboxing has to offer. I'm pretty sure we'll see some
amazing things once again. Let's do it! (beep) Okay so here we have P.
Wad's GBB 2020 World League Solo Wildcard. I have no idea what any
of those things mean. However, I do like that his name is P Wad. It sounds a bit like (honk) wad. (laughs) One of my favorite insults! Let's have a listen. - (humming, singing, and beatboxing) - Oh that's cool, the overtones
in that "womp womp womp" It's interesting how all
beatboxers kind of have like different ways they work with overtones and they all sound different. I wonder if it has to do
with, just like with singers, (comically deep voice) the
shape of the mouth and stuff. (normally) Most of the ones I've seen have been able to do like inwards bass, and you know like lip rolls
and all this stuff that I barely know what it is. But, I've never heard
anything quite like this. I feel like (honk) Wad, I mean
P Wad, is a little bit more gentle than other
beatboxers I've seen so far. Which, I think it's cool. - (beatboxing, singing, and humming) - I actually really like this because it's interesting in a musical way, which a lot of other
beatboxing is not all the time. But like it kind of
sounds like a real song in the way he's arranged
it, it's really cool. I don't know if he arranged it or if he's copying an
arrangement that exists, but it's interesting to listen to, and I feel like stuff is happening that's keeping it varied throughout. - (humming, singing, and beatboxing) - Oh, that's cool! - (humming, singing, and beatboxing) - I'll do it, guys. It's not hard. (imitates beatboxer, badly) (coughs) I did it! - (beatboxing, singing, humming) - That was dope! (celebratory music) His singing was good too! It's interesting. It's
very different, again, from other beatboxing
because he's so minimalistic in everything he does. It really sounds more
like a produced song. I really like when music is in
the forefront of everything. And you can still see
that he's super talented, he's doing all these really insane sounds. P Wad! He's got his own channel, you can go subscribe to him if you want. It's (honk) Wad, I mean
it's P Wad (laughs) Okay I gotta stop that joke now. We have Indicator: I'm an Alien. Okay. - (deep voice, beatboxing) (♪ Alien. From the outer
space. I am an alien) (♪ I'm here to take your place) (♪ I am an alien.) - I mean, I trust him. He is an alien. He's in a spaceship,
obviously, everything's green. Come on! - (beatboxing, singing) - (laughs) That's dope! - (beatboxing) - Oh I was thinking, throughout this, that like oh his chin
is a little bit weird. But then I saw that it's
actually the microphone is blocking a little bit here. I was like "oh I feel a bit bad for him!" - (very deep voice beatboxing) - That was dope, that was dope! Good stuff! Let's move on! Then we have Improver, the
Russian Beatbox Champion. I don't know how big beatbox is in Russia, I feel like beatbox is big in like, Eastern European countries and stuff. It's just the vibe I'm getting. - (accented) Hello, my name
is Improver, I'm from Russian - (laughs) The Russian accent,
together with his voice, is amazing. So likable! I want to be this guy's friend already. He's amazing! Hang out with me! Come on, man! I'll buy you a (honk) any time! I mean an apple juice, any time. I didn't say anything! (sound effect) I said apple juice! - (electronic beatbox) - Oh! - (electronic beatbox) - Sick! - (beatboxing intensifies) - Brah! - (beatboxing) - Oh my god! I would not
think that that came out of a human's mouth I don't think. If I heard that, especially
in a loud club or something, it sounds (high pitched
sound effect) amazing. The sound design he's done is (high pitched sound effect) crazy. I saw some people critiquing
beatboxers and saying oh, this or that famous beatboxer does the same three beats all
the time, or whatever. I can imagine, if you take
your beatboxing and your beats to this type of level, it might be that you can
become a little bit more of a one trick pony, I guess. Because it takes (echo
effect) so much work to really get all of these
things working together, that maybe you just
don't have time to learn three hundred different beats. Maybe you'll learn twenty instead, or ten. I don't know, but it's
just really cool to see someone who has really perfected something really advanced like this. It's freakin ridiculous. - (♪ Everybody, everybody,
everybody dance!) (beatboxing) - (laughs) - (beatboxing) - That is crazy. The way his
larynx, like his voice box, Adam's apple, whatever
you want to call it, goes up and down, doesn't look human. Kinda looks a bit like a female - uh - good box. (buzzer sound) I don't want to do anything to his neck! Okay? I just want to be friends with the guy. It's purely platonic. I definitely don't want to frick his neck. Let's continue! - (rapid beatboxing) - Oh, that's dope. - (continues rapid beatboxing) - Notice how his hair is moving. Very important. Look at that. Just notice it. I'm just telling you, you're missing out on the full experience of this beatbox if you're
not watching the hair bump up and down here. That's some crazy hair ... bumping. Okay so we have Bigman: Confused. I remember Bigman, he's the
man who's not a big man. (thunder sound effect)
Very angry about that. If this is good, I'm gonna forgive him for not being a big man. He's one of the guys who do
a little bit more singing than a lot of other beatboxers. Go for it, Bigman! Who should be called small man. - (singing and beatboxing) - Cool so far. I just want to point out, so basically these microphones
come with two different foam pieces. And I hate that foam piece with a passion. So it really disturbs me
when people have it on. Change it, bro. Anyway, without that distraction, just try to ignore the foam pad. I know you guys are also
very angry about this. Let's focus on the performance, okay? - (beatboxing, singing) - Nice! - (beatboxing, singing continues) - Nice! - (beatboxing, singing continues) - That like (♪ Boo-oo-oo) thing he does, I really like it. It sounds amazing. - (beatboxing, singing continues) - It was really good, okay. Did he make up for not being a Big Man? I think the treason of
calling yourself Bigman, when you're actually small man, it's not okay. Never okay. (laughs) So yeah, sorry small man. I'm gonna call you Small Man from now on. It was really good, I take all of it back. It was, he's a really incredible dude. Okay so this next one might be the most requested one. So-So versus Beatness, I don't think I've seen
any of these guys before. This has a lot of views, so I think it'll probably be epic. Imagine being so unconfident
that you call yourself So-so. How good are you? I'm so-so. - (singing, harmonizing.) - Okay, so we have another loop box. Loop box, did I say loop box? Loop beatbox, that's what I meant. Anyway, this is just not as fun for me? Generally I think I like just one man, one microphone, and they've done something crazy. But we'll see! Maybe they're blow my mind.
Maybe this is when I'll open up to loop beatboxing. Let's see! - (beatboxing over vocalizations) - This some frickin lo-fi hip-hop stuff. - (beatboxing over vocalizations) - I would study to this! - (beatboxing over vocalizations) - (♪I'm easy!) - Oh it's that song! Yeah! - (♪ I'm easy like Sunday morning.) (beatboxing over vocalizations) - That must be the first time I've seen a young girl in the audience. She's obviously there with like
her boyfriend or something. (laughs) - (beatboxing over
vocalizations and instrumentals) - Whoa, that's actually
a little bit out of tune. That's cool. - (beatboxing over
vocalizations and instrumentals) - What's happening? Two songs on top of each other now. He looks just as worried as I am. This is me right now like What are you doing? Please, please be good. - (beatboxing over
vocalizations and instrumentals) - So those chords don't really work with those Ah's now, I think. There's so much cool and amazing
stuff in what he's doing, but it's also, I don't know what to say. It makes me feel a little bit Ill? - (beatboxing over electronic music) - Hehe, he looks like an Asian version of Oliver Tree. Hehe, here we have Oliver Tree. What a legend. (deep voice effect) Very cool. - (beatboxing over electronic music) - Nice! He's like a proper DJ with it. - (beatboxing over electronic music) - Ah that's dope! - (beatboxing over electronic music) - I just realized why I like
beatboxing so much I think. It's probably no surprise for anyone else, but because I did drumming
for fifteen years, I think just the rhythm of it, and like how it grooves and stuff. I'm stupid, how did I
just realize this now?! I thought it was mainly because
I'm like a singer and stuff, and that's because it's like mouth things, but I guess it's a mix. I'm a singer, used to be a drummer, so this is the perfect in-between. - (beatboxing over electronic music) - (crowd screaming) - (beatboxing over electronic music) - (crowd screaming) - I wasn't crazy about that (sings) at first, but then like, when he
kept bringing it in, now in the end I was like "Oh my God!" "That's so iconic!" The (sings). - (instrumentals) - Okay, I'm gonna say it guys. I'm gonna say (echo effect) A little bit pitchy. It's difficult, because
if it was just singing on top of a beat with instruments, it wouldn't be a problem. But what happens when you're
stacking a lot of voices, and just like end up missing a little bit, that means that you're going
to be stacking problems on top of each other. I hope it's gonna turn
out amazing and great. I'm worried for him, though. Let's see what happens. - (instrumentals and vocals) - Round number two, coming back to So-so. - (beatboxing over electronic music) (♪ What's up?) (♪ This beat?) (♪ What?) (♪ Anyway, let's party now!) (beatboxing over electronic music) (♪So-so!) (beatboxing over electronic music) - I feel like he does a lot of things that make his set more
interesting, like he hides when he records things and stuff, he seems really good with
the loop pedal and like I think he had this one
loop running for 8 bars and I think it was recording
stuff for later then, so he could surprise people more. Which is my number one complaint
about loop pedal stuff, you know, you can kinda
suspect what's coming. But if he's like secretly recording things during other loop things,
then he can surprise more, which is hella dope! I just feel like he's such
a fun character on stage, he seems to have the best time. - (electronic beat) - (crowd cheers) Time! - That's good as well. Not as exciting to me
as the first one he did, but still really good. He really likes to just distort and really break all
his sounds, doesn't he? - (crowd chanting So-so) - Man, he's an audience favorite for sure. So-so took the audience for a ride! Do you know what I mean? It wasn't just technically good, it was also like, a bit of an experience with him being this crazy stage person. I liked it. - All right, this side for So-so! This side for Beatness! In three! - (crowd) Two! One! - So-so! - (crowd cheers) - Yeah, I mean, it wasn't a huge surprise. But yeah, dope stuff. Fun to see. Also, I think my friend Dharni, who I may or may not be working on a secret project with. He just released a new video, so we gotta check it out. How to do the Human
Trumpet: Everyone can do. Of course everyone can do. Especially me, I can do it easy. - Are you're stuck at home right now, you have nothing better to do, so you're watching my videos wishing that you can learn something new so you can show off to your friends, loved ones, and family? - Mmhmm! Of course! - Well, you have come to the right place. - No. Yes. - Today, I'm gonna teach you how to do the Human Trumpet. But first, I'm gonna get my hair cut. And now, let's learn the Human Trumpet. It's so easy. The first step: I'm sure many of you have already mastered the turtle making love noise from my previous saxophone tutorial video. - Of course, I mastered it. I've made love to so many turtles. I've studied the craft. - (short moan) - So, we're gonna do the same thing, but without the breathiness in it. This is with the breathiness: (high moan) And now we are going
to cut the breathiness. (high sigh) Now the second step: Just make sure you put your lips together, leaving one side of your
mouth with a little gap in between. So, I'll look like that: We're gonna combine step
one and two together, and we're gonna produce this sound: (high buzz) Now, you feel the
vibration coming in between your upper and lower lip. (high buzz) And once you get a trumpet noise, you can add the flutter in it. To do the flutter, all you have to do is just
place the tip of the tongue up against the roof of the mouth, as if you're pronouncing the letter "L", and move it side to
side in a rapid motion. (ululation) - Oh God, I can't do that. My tongue is really slow! - The trumpet sound with
the flutter effect together to produce this sound: (high fluttery buzz) - Oh, that's so cool! I will never do that. Okay. (comical ululation) (laughter) Amazing tutorial, as always, Dharni. And we have a secret
project, as I told you, that you're gonna see very soon. Together! Me and the boy Dharni, the guy who got me into beatboxing. What a champion! (beep) Anyway, click here for more
