the a350 is the bombshell that is going to Aid airbus's ongoing onslaught of whatever remains of Boeing's Integrity in the aviation industry they finally released their secret weapon which comes with tons of pleasant surprises that will win over a majority of Boeing's loyal customers so how the new Airbus a350 is going to end Boeing's dominance the a350 was born at a time when the Airbus was placed under great pressure by its major competitor Boeing this story goes back to 2004 when the Airbus A330 family was the Rave it was the model that was bringing in the money for Airbus just then Boeing turned the tide and introduced the Boeing 787 majorly wide-body aircraft that could carry between 250 to 300 passengers somehow this Factor Drew more passengers away from airlines that relied on the smaller Airbus A330 to airlines that have resorted to using the wider-bodied Boeing 787 for long-haul travel a significant portion of the Airbus customer base had reached out to the manufacturer to provide a fittings response to Boeing Airbus began preparations to present a modified version of the existing Airbus A330 with a larger body and capacity but with technically the same engine components as Boeing 787 while this might have been a good attempt to bring them up to speed in the short term it doesn't exactly give the manufacturer any extra points for the uniqueness of its technology and they would lose some competitive Advantage the planned reveal of the air a330xwb which is short for the extra wide body was postponed from the 2005 International Air Show instead Airbus opted to make a 4 billion dollar investment in building a novel model which would provide the strongest competition for Boeing 787 it has proven to be a smart decision over the years as they came out with a vastly improved Airbus a350 but the question still stands why is Airbus a350 drawing so much interest and why now this sentiment has shifted from how well an aircraft can be fuel efficient to its mileage and safety a department where Boeing aircrafts are not thriving Airbus has shown greater dedication towards establishing itself as the winner regarding wide body sales they have brought the fight to Boeing either with their newer flights like Airbus A380 or refitting an earlier model like the Airbus a350 also there is a growing demand for long-haul travel following the recovery of the aviation industry Airlines require planes that can carry more passengers to compete with their Rivals who are also opting for larger aircraft so this has created a growing demand for wide-body aircrafts but that's not all while demand is picked up aircraft supply has remained the same and makers like Airbus and Boeing are racing against time to meet orders for wide-body aircrafts and that number is close to a thousand Airbus aims to produce about 700 wide bodies for its customers this year of these only 42 were of the a350 class these orders were made in 2021 and the companies working hard to produce enough to meet the quota of existing orders before attending to newer orders placed to secure more a350s the government of Saudi Arabia has also launched its bid to own its Fleet of a350 aircrafts this is great as Saudi now joins a host of other middle east-based Airlines like Qatar Airways and Dubai's Emirates to make a bulk order of Airbus aircraft Saudi Arabia is going for a little over 40 to 80 Jets as they seek to establish another global airline that will challenge the big guns in the middle east's Aviation Society in a multi-billion dollar deal they cannot rely on Boeing to meet the urgency of the proposed project and the reason for that is simple Bowie may have drifted out of the mix to secure the Saudi deal their efforts may be stifled by supply chain issues but that's not all due to recent events the United States government and the Arabian kingdom are not exactly the best Pals so they may be stifled by political factors as well what gives Boeing the confidence that they could steal the deal is that Saudi already has about 75 Boeing 787 Dreamliner Airlines so maybe they already have friendly relations in place the Dreamliner is a useful wide-body aircraft to the Saudi government but what the Airbus is offering to Airlines and their passengers could easily override any long-term relationship that might be shared between the Saudis and Boeing it is premium Comfort at any cost and because of this Boeing 787 is not a real match for a350 given that its highest capacity is for 330 passengers but that doesn't mean Boeing has only one type of aircraft to compete with the a350s Boeing triple 7x Boeing's largest plane has a passenger capacity of 406 seats but Airbus a350s will be refitted with 410 plus seats for passengers along the now wider and longer cabin so it makes sense why the Saudis will not be contented with their existing Fleet of 787s and maybe the triple sevens would have been a better option but due to the dire situation of Boeing supplies the Airbus really has a great opening to leverage on this Airbus is refitting its a350s by scrapping the interiors and will be creating an extra inch of space cabin wide creating room for more seats and extra Elbow Room does this mean The Fleets will have tighter cabins yes but it will bring it to Boeing's triple sevens level since Boeing already scraped their space to make room for more seeds an Airbus hasn't stopped there they are bringing new technology-inspired improvements to make Boeing's life more difficult which might put them in a very horrific position the Airbus uses the third generation technology to offer about 99.9 blackout on each window installed on the a350 passengers can minimize light while still enjoying a comfortable level of Darkness passengers can specifically choose how dark they want their Windows to be instead of opening and closing them but this option may only be available as a custom fitting so that the airlines can choose them over the regular window shades this interesting upgrade to the new a350s is known as dimmable Windows they will be managed individually instead of the one button functions of the standard Shades you can look from Windows to the ceiling while learning about this next impressive feature awaiting you in Flight the necessary information can be passed to all all passengers via the projections on their screens to achieve this Airbus has partnered with deal to integrate projectors into the cabin information such as what to do at various stages of flight destination and arrival information can be visible on the sidewalls and the overhead luggage bins all these will be made possible via ceiling projections the core technology that is Central to achieving these technological upgrades is the Internet of Things known as iot also you no longer have to call the air Host this mid-flight a sensor will notify them on their tablets you can also connect your phone to the seats and adjust the seating positions rather than pressing the button all Airbus a350s rely on iot to relay travel data and offer more Comfort to passengers Airbus is fitting a350 seats with iot sensors in its belts it also gathers data on seat malfunctions which can easily be relayed to the maintenance teams along with this you can also have your meals or drinks prepared for you ahead of your flight iot helps circulate the necessary information that will make travel easier for you regarding your pre-orders and preferences this will help to prevent food wastage for Airlines as well do you know what else will make Airbus a bigger deal than Boeing in the aviation industry the latter is struggling with pushing out its planes due to the heavy critique of the Federal Aviation agency these agencies have chosen to prioritize passenger safety above the money-making interest of Boeing and the company is more than happy to comply until they can resolve some of the technical riffs to ensure the safety of both crew and passengers the recent risks of passengers and crew members in the faults of most Boeing aircraft had led to catastrophe Boeing Triple 7 or 787 could have Wrestled a good portion of the market from Airbus a350 and that is unlikely with the expected deliveries of Boeing Triple 7 flights postponed until 2025. it is still being determined how long these restrictions will continue but it gives Boeing little to no chance to respond to any major moves made by Airbus to improve any of their aircraft which they are doing on a big scale including bagging some big names as clients in the aviation industry this situation has made Airlines like United to have a rethink United Airlines used to boast an all-boeing Fleet and over the years they have restrained themselves from patronizing other manufacturers due to the cost of training pilots and maintenance but they are throwing caution to the wind because most of their fleets are 20 year old aircrafts and are looking to inject some rather modern aircraft into their Fleet with Boeing not doing so well with its Supply concerns it remains to be seen if it will be able to contend with the influx of improved new Airbus a350s Boeing has the case to prove in order to secure this deal with United Airlines by trying to come through on their quota of 120 deliveries of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner which they are defaulting on to the same airline if they can push these out we are positive that United Airlines will not hesitate to continue its relationship with Boeing however it will only put them on an equal footing with Airbus as much improved Fleet of aircraft in the wide-body category who will likely offer United Airlines a chance to meet up with its targets despite Boeing's delayed delivery at this time the bonus is really on the airline to meet the aviation Market's demand so the winds are strongly in favor of the Airbus a350 but this adds insult to injury concerning what one of United Airlines strongest International Rivals now partner is doing to gain control of the long-haul travel Market using its growing Fleet of wide-body Airbus aircrafts United Airlines must take the cube because Emirates is striving to kill every other airline in the broader Aviation Space and to achieve this the airline is taking steps and measures that are extremely shocking but to what extent is Emirates going to achieve this world domination and how I know you want to hear more about this so just click this video over here foreign
