LEVELS. CHRIS. JANE, I'M WATCHING LIVE SUPER DOPPLER 4 HD CLOSELY. ALL GOOD. ACROSS THE UPSTATE, WE HAD STORMS YESTERDAY EVENING, SOME OF US OVERNIGHT. SO IT'S HARD TO GET THAT TO REPEAT AGAIN 12 TO 24 HOURS LATER. BUT HERE WE ARE, A STORM RISK INDEED EXIST. NO STORMS IN THE UPSTATE RIGHT NOW, BUT I'M SEEING SOME ACTIVITY IN ASHEVILLE EASTBOUND TOWARD MCDOWELL COUNTY, SOME RUMBLES OF THUNDER, SOME HEAVY RAIN. THERE. THIS IS SOME HEAVY RAIN RIGHT ALONG I-40. A COUPLE OF CLAPS OF THUNDER ASSOCIATED WITH THAT AS WELL. BUT THAT'S REALLY THE ONLY STORM IN TOWN RIGHT NOW. THE GREATER ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE FROM CHARLOTTE EAST THROUGH RALEIGH AND NORTHBOUND. THAT'S WHERE THERE'S A HIGH RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER THIS EVENING. NOT VERY OFTEN YOU SEE THAT. AND HERE WE ARE IN THE LOW TO MEDIUM RISK ACROSS THE UPSTATE. NOW WE'RE TALKING GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL BEING A POSSIBILITY IF THESE STORMS CAN FIRE UP, I THINK WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING A LOT OF ACTIVITY TONIGHT, WHICH IS CERTAINLY GOOD NEWS AFTER YESTERDAY'S STORMS. OUR SKYCAM NETWORK SHOWS IT'S A HOT, HUMID DAY ALL AROUND TOWN. 88 IN ANDERSON. IT'S 85 IN ASHEVILLE, 86 IN SPARTANBURG AND IN GREENVILLE. AS WE LOOK AT OTHER TEMPERATURES AROUND TOWN, IT'S PUSHING 90 DEGREES IN THE UPSTATE MID 80S ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS. NOW, AS WE LOOK AT OUR 12 HOUR FORECAST, ANY KIND OF EVENING PLANS YOU HAVE OUTDOORS, WE'RE TALKING A POP UP SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM. MOST OF US ARE GOING TO STAY DRY, BUT DO KNOW THAT WITH THE INGREDIENTS IN PLACE, ANY OF US THAT DO SEE A STORM, IT COULD REALLY PACK A PUNCH YOUR WAKE UP WEATHER LOOKS LIKE THIS UPPER 60S TO AROUND 70 DEGREES AS YOU GET YOUR DAY STARTED TOMORROW WITH PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES. IT'LL BE A NICE DAY AND DRIER. NOT AS MUCH HUMIDITY, WHICH MEANS OUR THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE LOWER AND TEMPERATURES ARE VERY CLOSE TO WHERE THEY SHOULD BE THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. IT SHOULD NORMALLY BE IN THE UPPER 80S. RIGHT. AND THE UPSTATE UPPER 70S TO AROUND 80 IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA. IN FACT, WE'LL CALL IT 82 IN ASHEVILLE, 85 FOR RUTHERFORD, 88 IN GREENVILLE. AND PUSHING 90 IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE UPSTATE. IT'LL BE A TOASTY DAY, BUT IT GETS EVEN HOTTER THAN THAT. 90 BY WEDNESDAY. AND LOOK AT THAT FRIDAY GOING INTO THE WEEKEND. WE'RE TALKING LOW TO EVEN MID 90S, LOW HUMIDITY ON TAP RIGHT NOW, WHICH MEANS ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL BE REALLY LOW THIS WEEK AS WE GO TOWARD THE END OF THE WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND THAT HUMIDITY COMES BACK IN FULL FORCE. IT IS GOING ONLY GOING TO BE HOT, BUT IT'S ALSO GOING TO BE HUMID, WHICH WILL LEAD TO POP UP THUNDERSTORMS. BUT WHILE TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH THE WEEKEND, YOU SEE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY, THIS REPRESENTS HOW FAR ABOVE NORMAL WE'RE GOING TO BE WELL INTO THE 90S. LOOK AT NEXT WEEEEK WE'RE BACK O BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES, LOW TO MID 80S INSTEAD AND THAT PATTERN LOOKS TO CONTINUE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH JULY 10TH WITH NEAR NORMAL OR JUST BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE WET. THE FOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE THIS, 89 DEGREES TOMORROW, 90 ON WEDNESDAY. YEAH, WE'RE HEATING UP ALL THE WAY FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND, EVEN MID-NINETIES POSSIBLE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. BUT THEN WE TUMBLE BACK DOWN TO THE 80S, WHICH IS A TAD BELOW WHERE WE SHOULD BE THIS TIME OF YEAR. WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA, SAME STORY, MAINLY DRY THROUGH THURSDAY. POP
