example, we choose an omnidirectional 360° actually we can consider many parameters or many characteristics of the antenna that we can adjust to our needs for example earlier from Beam Width or the width of the antenna beam opening usually there are several antennas that have a Main Loop or the direction of the main beam on each antenna also has a Side Loop or signal beam around the antenna This Side Loop effect can affect the surrounding antennas, and can cause interference or can causing Noise from the antenna becomes larger In addition, we also need to consider the antenna in terms of physical For example, from the dimensions, then from the material it is made of is that a sturdy or resistant to weather changes or not because usually we will use that, for example, we install it on top of the tower with hot weather, maybe rain, etc. there are many types of antennas that we can choose, if we look based on the coverage area or beam width, the direction of the beam we can choose is omnidirectional there is also a directional one that has a narrow beam opening for Point to Point needs then we can also use sectoral antennas usually sectoral antennas have a wider azimuth angle or horizontally, it can be 90° or even 120° then there is one more choice of antennas we can use is the Horn type RF elements antenna actually has several types There are actually two examples of the horn antennas there are actually two examples posted here, the one on the right is the Symmetrical Horn Antenna why is it called symmetrical? because of the azimuth and elevation angles, the vertical and horizontal are the same or symmetrical and here it has an opening angle of 30° As for the second product, the Asymmetrical Horn like the one on the left This actually has several types of RF elements, there are three types that happen to be installed here, namely the Asymmetrical Horn 90° means that this antenna has an azimuth angle of 90° or horizontally it can be 90° and for the are those that have an opening angle of 25° if for example we use a regular antenna sector and we want to reach a client that is close to the tower usually we need to do a Tilt Down, and change the beam direction to a little below The goal is that later the coverage area of the sectoral radio antenna can reach clients who are close to the tower location but later it will have side effects because the ordinary antenna sector has a small elevation angle, or the vertical beam is small usually clients who are far from the tower will lose their signal it's different if we use this type of horn antenna because the elevation angle is large, the vertical beam signal is also large then when we Tilt Down this way, the client who is close to the tower it can be affordable while being much of a tower that still will not lose the signal due to the angle beam signal is quite wide Another advantage of the Horn antenna RF elements is the absence of side loops Side Loop is the emission of radiation that occurs around the antenna which sometimes causes problems, for example interference with other antennas or he can also hear noise that is too large For example, if there is an antenna like this, then actually the direction of the beam is not only directed forward several types of antennas, it usually also has a fairly large SIde Loop because of the Side Loop, so the power of the antenna beam is not centered on one beam focus for this Horn antenna because there is no Side Loop, so the energy will be concentrated in one direction. just focusing on courtship means that if we can see here that the beam efficiency of this RF elements antenna can reach 92% under these conditions, then almost all of the energy from this antenna will be focused on the Main Loop will be focused on the main beam, so that later it can increase the SNR value when the SNR value can increase, then the wireless Throughput will also be able to being bigger the absence of radiation around the antenna or Side Loop can also give us an advantage to install more than one antenna in the same tower for example we install like this, there are two antennas close together like this there is no problem because each antenna is from these RF elements there is no beam that points to the side or around the antenna if there is a Side Loop on the antenna, then we cannot pair the antenna at close range like this because later it can cause interference with small dimensions like this if we compare it with sectoral antennas in general which are patch-shaped The array is long so the comparison of the size of this Horn antenna can only be about 25% so that in one tower we can install 1, 2 or even more to cover a wider area another advantage is, by using several Horn antennas like this then we can focus more on the direction of the signal beam to the location of the Client that we will connect to different from when we use sectoral which for example has an azimuth aperture of 120° then later there will be many locations that we may not need to cover but getting a signal beam that might later cause noise or interference that occurs around the wireless coverage area each antenna from these RF elements can work at a frequency of 5GHz and is equipped with a Beam Pattern and Gain Stability meaning, when we use any frequency, the Beam Pattern and also the antenna gain will always be the same Usually, if we use a wireless antenna, when we change the frequency, the gain of the antenna will decrease or maybe the Pattern of the Beam Width will change its coverage area on the antenna RF elements not like that, because it is equipped with the Beam Pattern feature and also the Gain Stability so that was some of the advantages of Horn antenna technology from RF elements now we will see from the physical form of the antenna we can see here from the connector section usually if you use an antenna, usually here there will be a connector or jumper cable on the RF elements antenna device, later we can use an adapter like this so this part can actually be removed I will give an example with the antenna above I try playing like this, then we can get off the adapter like this and these so this adapter uses 2x RP-SMA type connectors and for installation we only need to rotate like this, without any additional cables this is also one of the superior features of RF elements, is it to install? if we pay attention here using the RP-SMA connector, then we can use any type of Wireless brand here we can also use the MikroTik wireless radio type, for example this BaseBox 5 type so this is an example of a MikroTik Wireless product that we can pair with the Starter antenna This horn from RF elements is because BaseBox 5 has Dual Chain Wireless and uses the RP-SMA connector type for example, the installation is like this then another one that makes it easier for us to install The bracket of this RF Elements product has been designed so that it is easier for us to do pointing This antenna is made of material that is quite strong because here it uses Die Cast Aluminum and some bolts are equipped with Anti Friction Coating, so we don't need to hesitate anymore for in RF elements it is usually called an Adapter you can see on the back of this antenna the system is also the same, using a snap adapter like this then using the RP-SMA connector so that later he too we can connect with MikroTik products like NetMetal below so if we look here there is another PigTail, but inside here there is no cable so the loss is smaller let's see the type of connector or the type of adapter, here I take it off first The installation of the adapter is also quite easy, it has a locking thread that we can turn and then we release it and the shape will be like this so the shape of the adapter for the Asymmetrical Horn antenna is like this for this type of adapter it is already available for various types of wireless devices here what I use is an Adapter that supports Wireless MikroTik, because it uses RP-SMA connectors like this way the installation is also quite easy, you can turn it back like this we install the adapter then we return the lock loop this way the adapter is strong enough installed we only need to re-attach the PigTail cable with the RP-SMA connector if needed, in your network implementation maybe you can add an isolator shield on this connector here I only simulate for an example of installation for its implementation, you can add an insulator Shield to add more protection from rainy weather in In addition to the Adapter with equipped with a bracket that we can adjust there is a mechanical azimuth and elevation that we can adjust on this bracket to make it easier for us in pointing what kind of example? at the top, there are several bolts that we can tighten or loosen to adjust the direction to the left or right, namely the azimuth how to loosen it, you have to prepare a key here I use a ring lock, you can also use a pass wrench with size 13/14 then we can use this top part loosen it up a bit then we can point it to the left or right like this so it moves here from the antenna bracket so you don't have to worry anymore when installing it on the tower we just need to install the bracket, then to adjust the direction of the antenna we can use this sophisticated bracket and this is very easy When installing we can adjust the Azimuth position to 20° so besides being equipped with the ease of adjusting the left-right Azimuth on the Bracket, it is also equipped with a mechanical adjustment for the angle of elevation or up and down what is the example like? here are some bolts that we can loosen with a wrench I'll just give an example if it's a little loose, then it can be raised or lowered for example like this so we don't have to bother anymore in terms of pointing, because there is already a bracket that already exists. provided so that we can adjust the azimuth and elevation angles of this Asymmetrical Horn antenna device for installation, actually it can not only be done on the right side of the tower like this we are also provided with the option to install the bracket on the other side, if we want to install the antenna on the left side of the tower so we can move this bracket to the right side of this antenna device there is one more unique thing about this Asymmetrical Horn antenna product specifically for this Asymmetrical Horn HG3-TP-A20-30 product so you can see that the shape of the device is actually the shape is almost similar to this 90° type but for the Asymmetrical Horn HG3-TP-A20-30 it has a beam angle of 20° and 30° the difference here is that there are many holes for mounting brackets on the top, right-left and bottom sides so for the HG3-TP-A20-30 type Asymmetrical Horn device we can install it vertically like this or it can also be installed horizontally so later we can adjust the bracket for example like this, we can install the bracket on the left side of the antenna like this or it can be on this side, so the shape of the beam will be large horizontally so you can adjust it according to your needs to handle clients with what kind of beam angle if there are many Clients who are under the tower, we can use Vertical mode like this and then we can Tilt Down because the bracket also has Mechanical Adjustment or if for example many clients are positioned above us, for example in flats or in apartments, we might also be able to use a larger elevation opening angle so we can adjust the antenna position horizontally or
