HOMEGOODS SUMMER DECOR HAUL | HOME DECORATING IDEAS 2024 | Jessica Giffin

[Music] hello everyone welcome back to my channel if you saw my last video then you know I just got back from Europe and unfortunately we had no time for antique shopping I just didn't come across anything and we were going a million miles an hour doing a ton of amazing things so we did not get to do the antiquing but on the airplane ride home I was scrolling on Pinterest as does and I just came across so much summer decorating inspiration particularly this photo I love everything about this kitchen I love all of the blue pottery and vases for summertime the tall plant that catches your eye right away all of that is so my style and needless to say it left me very inspired so I ran to HomeGoods and it has been a minute since I've been to TJ Maxx and HomeGoods so I wanted to share a little haul with you of everything that I found there were a couple items that I'm sharing that were on my Island in my last video um but I'm including them in this haul as well because they are very summer specific so let's just go ahead and jump right into the haul starting out with this big gorgeous blue and white planter I love this this is going to be a statement piece on my Island for summer I think it's just going to tie in all of the blues that I plan on decorating with so nicely and and I love the size of this thing it's really heavy duty I love looking in the outdoor section for large Planters like this even if I'm not planning on using them outdoor specifically I think you can find really big sturdy pieces like this that can cover a large area like an island a large dining room table and really fill your space nicely also they're just super heavy duty and wellmade if you want to put them outside you have that option so I always love looking down the outdoor section at HomeGoods I'm looking for the price this was $29.99 and again I just think this is going to be such a focal point and so much fun to kind of mix and match what you add in here for summer and I'll pop up a picture of what this looked like together but lately I've added this faux hydrangea in there and that's been on my Island and that has looked amazing but I have this really fun DIY planned that I'll be sharing in my summer decor in video so stay tuned for that but this one I thought was really cool it's a realistic potted hydrangea um plant and this one's cool because it's outdoor safe so it's UV resistant which again if I wanted to put this outside it's nice to know that I can but I love it just on its own and this pot is a good size to put in something else like this big blue and white planter I love to have a variety of baskets Planters vessels things like that that I can add something like this to it's a great way to add whatever colors you're decorating into your space add some texture if you pop it in a basket or something and you just can't go wrong with white hydrangeas with a nice pop of green so beautiful today I am partnering with my Heritage DNA I am so looking they're going to look really good against all of the Blues I plan on using for summer and yellow and lemon tones and things like that so I saw this stunning picture here it's it's engraved it has like this floral engraving if you can see that it goes all the way around and it's just so beautiful I added this in a little vignette on my island with a planter and the hydrangeas and I just thought it all looked so well together all the colors really complemented each other so nicely and this is just so pretty it was $14.99 from TJ Max I can see myself putting real flowers in here throughout the year maybe using it as an actual picture but regardless it's going to look so nice in my kitchen with all of the Blues and yellows since we've been home from Europe I have personally felt so good and I think a lot of it had to do with the foods we were eating over there things aren't as processed they eat a lot more fresh good quality foods so I've been trying to bring in and use a lot of organic whole healthy fruits vegetables grains things like that so I realized that I need need more storage for my fruits and my vegetables and this was just the perfect most beautiful piece I love just that little rope detail that goes all around the top and the bottom tier and it just everything about it's pretty it has a nice little pretty curved bottom here and then there's a nice little detail on the top I think this is going to look so nice on my counter and I'll be able to store and display all of my fruits and vegetables and things like that I think this was $19.99 and again I just love finding pieces like this that go with my style and that are also something that's very practical and useful throughout my home I was thinking that that would also make a beautiful piece to put in your bathroom to keep your skin care makeup stuff like that especially since in my bathroom I don't have a ton of storage so something this big and two tiered I think that would be amazing and I like to keep all of my stuff up out of my cabinets that I use every day I just like to be able to see it all so that's another idea for something like that as well but that was in the kitchen section of HomeGoods and then this was one that I was not looking for but when I saw it I just could not pass it up look at how beautiful this set of dish towels are I cannot it goes so well with my theme they're so beautiful the blue hydrangeas with the white and it's a set of three so you get two of this pattern and then one that's just the most beautiful shade of blue I love getting my kitchen towels oven mitts washcloths all that stuff from HomeGoods and TJ Maxx they have the cutest patterns it's a great quality and the prices are really good as well this one was $9.99 for the set of three I'm picturing this just hanging over my kitchen sink with all of my blue and white pottery around the copper pieces the hydrangeas it's going to be so good so I rarely buy faux florals that come in a vase like this because I like to mix and match and use my own but I just loved everything about this one these florals are just so realistic and beautiful and I love that they look like mini hydrangeas if you know what these actually are let me know because they are smaller than the typical hydrangea I don't know if it's a type or a completely different flower so if you know let me know but I love the look of them it's going to go so well with everything I have going on and I believe this one's going in my office or it might go in my dining room under those shelves to tie in more of that hydrangea look that I just want it to flow around my kitchen the vase itself is ceramic and I thought it was neutral enough and pretty I like that it has a little bit of texture to it and everything about this just looks high-end to me it looks like a good quality and a piece I'll be able to use for various seasons and various different rooms and this one was $19.99 as well and last but not least we need to show my living room some love for summertime so I wanted to get a statement piece to put in here and I have this white chair right behind me that I love to add an accent pillow for each season and this blue just obviously ties in with my theme and I thought it was just so pretty this is also one that is down filled so you could do the little chop if you wanted to and and I just think the quality of these feel so much more high-end and comfortable and it's just I don't know I love it the pillow case itself is really soft and it's just going to look so nice in my living room for summer this one was let's see this was from HomeGoods and it was $19.99 which is a pretty good price because this is a pretty good size pillow and like I said it's one that's made of
