Hogwarts Legacy preparing shaders everytime and Crash fix

[Music] foreign [Music] Legacy you keep on getting the error message preparing shaders or compiling shaders whenever you launch the game so without wasting time let's go ahead and proceed with the resolution first of all head over to a settings menu here click on the storage option now click on temporary files now wait for the scanning to complete once it is completed check mark all the options except direct access once it is done go ahead and choose option remove files wait for it to finish and once it is done go ahead restart your PC to fix out the issue of preparing shadows in Hogwart Legacy if this failed to work out in next step right click on start menu and choose optional now here first of all Choose Or click on The View icon and choose the option show and check marked icon hidden files now here find a folder with the name Hogwart Legacy open it open saved folder config Windows no editor and here you will find a file with the name game user settings right click on game user settings file and choose the option open with Notepad from here scroll to the last and at the end you need to paste a command which I will share you in the description of this video here's the command just copy from a description paste in game user file by pressing the control V button once pasted click on the file menu and choose option save once it is done close it go ahead and try to play your game and check if you are still getting the issue of preparing shaders while launching the Hogwarts Legacy game if this also failed in next method we are going to run a script to fix out the issue of compiling shaders issue with Hogwarts Legacy so for that you need to open up a website which is Nexus nodes and here if you don't have a create on Nexus mode make sure to create the account else it will not let you download this particular file after creating an account click on the option slow download wait for five seconds to get the download link now save the file into your desktop once it is saved unzip the file now close it right click on the file you have unzipped and choose the option copy once copied again open the same folder which is present in Local app data Hogwart Legacy saved config Windows no editor and here right click and choose the option paste it will ask you to replace the file so go ahead and replace the file in the destination now once this setting is done next thing you need to do is game user settings again right click on this file and choose the option open with Notepad scroll down and here you will find an option of Shader pipeline cache last open Phoenix here instead of Phoenix deleted and type here test once it is done click on the file menu and choose option save close it now right click on this file again and choose option properties under the attribute check mark that I can read only then hit apply and OK button now close it restart your PC and this will completely close the issue of preparing shaders while launching the Hogwarts Legacy game so this is all about it friends if this video works out for you I request you to please click on the Subscribe button and turn on the Bell notification icon to continue receiving updates from my channel thank you so much friends thank you for watching
