HiWatch by Hikvision How to Format HDD

[Music] I've come to James II secured who's going to show you how to initialize a hard drive on a high watch by hikvision NVR sometimes when you first get the unit's there'll be beeping at you it's very annoying and this often happens because the hard drive hasn't been initialized so all you do is go into your menu click on HDD and you should see a hard drive here if it's not been initialized it will not say normal ok all you have to do though is click here highlight it and then click initialize down here obviously this will raise any date that's on the harddrive already it's like okay there's the beeping as its initializing this will climb up to 100% and then it's done there we go after the harddrive initialized and everything's fine as you can see it tells you got free space available
