apologize that things get confusing but I'll try my best to keep things as clear as possible another thing that I want to say is that Lou boos name is actually pronounced somewhere close to Leo boo Liu boo but for brevity's sake and the fact that I really don't want to come back and rerecord the lines every time I screw it up I'm just gonna calm lubu because everybody knows who Lou boo is anybody knows him as Lulu so even though I do get told by my Chinese fans that I get the names right like shouts ow ah Lu boos name is gonna be mispronounced because it's easier that way for me honestly and I don't think anyone out there is really going to type up an angry message to let me know how wrong I am so now that I've wasted 40 seconds of your time let's roll those credits and start this episode you in the last episode we talked about Doug's Rose reign of tyranny in the coalition that was built to stop him dong-chul wasn't just a crafty man that was able to practically take over the Empire by himself however his right hand was a warrior known throughout the land a tall figure in black armor wielding a mighty halberd and riding a red steed this man's name was Lou Boone he is one of the many men they'll be discussing today my name is Tyler vaya and I want to thank you all for tuning in for the third episode in reboot of the history of the Three Kingdoms while lugu may not have been a major player in the long run of the rise and fall of the three kingdoms he certainly was one of the most well known actors having served under practically everybody at one point or another he gained a reputation as a fierce warrior who held no loyalty to anyone but himself he was arrogant truly believing that with his halberd and seat alone he could conquer the world in reality he did a little more than travel from province to province betraying anyone who was foolish enough to trust him it was these actions coupled with his complete disregard for his advisors main schemes and plans though ultimately an Lobos reign of terror across the realm in the last episode almost seven months ago I talked about the first steps Dungloe took to take control over the empire by convincing a registrar under a big province instructor to kill him and present his head to dong zhuo as a sign of pledged loyalty this would be the first of many times that lubu had betrayed those he was loyal to because not much later he would be manipulated by a member of the impale Court named Wang Yun into betraying dong Zhuo and killing him as well I just want to drive home that lubu could not be trusted yet for some reason people still put up with his nonsense at least for a time but Before we jump into that I like to go back to the beginning at this story which just so happens to be the beginning of the Three Kingdoms era Liu Liu's career relevance beginning the Byng province in 189 where he was a registrar under a minor warlord named Jing yuan in the year 189 Emperor Ling died in an attempt to eliminate the impale court eunuchs hee Jin had called for two warlords to lead their armies to the capital and to aid in their destruction unfortunately he jin was assassinated before the reinforcements could arrive and dung shook this opportunity to occupy the capital and slaughter the units though dong Zhuo now had control over the realm he still coveted even more power who conspired with lubu to kill ding yuan and take control over dings army blue boo did as he was commanded and kill ding yuan and in return dong Zhuo appointed lubu is a Calvary commandant and also accepted him as a foster son it wouldn't be long after that the Lubar would also receive yet another promotion from Calvary commandant - the general of the household and received the title Marquis the chief village and 190 when the coalition east of the past rose against um rose dictatorship Lulu was sent to attack the marching armies of Sun Jian however he failed to stop the advance of the coalition toward the capital via yen after dong zhuo's defeat against sangeun's forces he was forced to flee from Leo yen and move the imperial capital to Chun Hong in the West Leo yang was looted and burned before Sun Jian could reach it and because the coalition east of the pass were busy fighting amongst themselves on who would rule over the realm the coalition did not pursue dong Zhuo to Chung owned and disbanded a year later dong Zhuo if you hadn't realized in the last episode wasn't exactly the nicest guy in fact he was so awful to people that he became extremely paranoid that one day that he would be assassinated his paranoia had became so bad that he had lubu at his side at all times unfortunately on top of being rude dong-chul was also prone to temper tantrums and violent outburst during these outbursts the violence could get so bad that dung she would even throw Spears at Lu boo who was able to dodge them pretty easily but Lu GU begin to build a grudge against his adoptive father after this to make matters worse it was during this time that Liu Bei was sleeping with one of dong zhuo's handmaidens if dongs rule were to find out he was surely put lubu to death during the first months of chung-yong lubu began to meet with wang yun a minister over the masses who worked within the MPL court Wang Yun was known as a man who spoke with honey words which he used to get lubu to warm up to him during one of dongs rules tirades he actually attempted to kill Liu boo which led to lubu storming off the property and going to see weighing-in Wang Yun in an attempt to console a furious warrior told him about the growing pot to have Dung's will assassinate it and asked for his support at first Liu Bei was angered even more shouting but we are father and son - which wing Yun retorted your family name is Liu so you have no blood relations to him he was not concerned when you almost died so where was that father and son bond this seemed to be the push that lubu needed because he agreed to aid wing yun and his plot soon after and with that the final plan was in place to have dong ho kill after dong zhuo's death Lu GU and wingmen gained control over the government was appointed to the General of uplifting mic he was also received the title the Marquis of wen from Emperor's yet though the death Adams Road led to a very short period of peace it wasn't long before loyalists led by Li Jie and gosu led an attack on Cheung Kong after Wang Yun refused to grant him amnesty for their alliance with dong Zhuo gosu led his men to attack the city's north gate where he met lubu who made him an offer Lulu said let's not send our soldiers into battle instead let's have a one-on-one fight Lu began his duel with gosu and ended up injuring his opponent however before Lu GU could deal the final blow gosu was saved by his men and to honor the duel they would drew their forces for a time but in the end Lulu and wingmen were unable to resist the siege so Lulu made the decision to withdraw from cheung-kong according to the Sango Qi Lulu had to flee cheung-kong only 60 days after the death of dong Zhuo after leaving Chun lubu traveled to seek shelter under Wang Shu and nan yang depending on which account you believe there are actually two written accounts of what really happened the first is in the Sango Chi which I referenced earlier which claim that Lu Bo figured that un shouid treat him with the utmost respect due to him believing the heated UN Shu a great favor by killing dongs well but was turned away because you and Shu could not trust a man who was so disloyal the second account was within the whole Honshu which states that UN Shu treated Lulu with the utmost respect and generosity however lubu was rude and brash due to his believing he deserved a better treatment for killing dong Zhuo lubu would also allegedly allow his men to attack in plunder the province for his own personal gain UN Shu began to see Lulu as a threat to his province and upon realizing that UN she was suspicious of him Lulu left to avoid a potential assassination after leaving the company of un Xu Lu mu traveled north to join forces with you and choose cousin un Xiao to prove his loyalty to Xiao Lu who aided in his attack against Zhang Yan in Changsha however Chang Shan commanded a mighty army so Lulu decided the best strategy to deal with the situation was to lead his men to raid against Zhang Yuans camp they'd fight their way in and fight their way out and they would do this several times a day for almost two weeks and on the tenth day Liu Bei would claim victory over Jiang yan though the very idea of a UN teaming up with a one-man murder machine like lubu struck fear into the hearts of all other rulers in the empire this alliance wouldn't last due to the fact that lubu once again was a disloyal arrogant bastard he even treated you in shy with contempt even went as far as to demand more troops from you and Chou and when Chou denied that he went and led his men to pillage UN shells provinces just like with his cousin un shell began to seal Ubu as a threat and once again lubu could sense his suspicions lugu requested to be allowed to return with Leo yin and Yu enshou agreed to the proposal and recommended that lubu become the director of retainers whose job it was to look over and supervise convicts and public work projects what Lu GU didn't know is that this was just a ruse by un Chou 30 hand-picked men by UN shalwar to escort Lulu back to Leo yang but his night came on their journey they attempted to sneak into Lulu's tent and stabbed him to death as he slept well they did stab a man to death and return to un Chou and a report that they must have surely killed Lu boo what they didn't know is that Lu GU was able to sneak out of his tent and got away when you and shell found out that he failed to kill Liu boo he immediately ordered for his city gates to be sealed I just want to pause for a moment so I can really drill that home this is one man whose army was dwarfed by UN shells by at least 25 to one who made you enshou so afraid of his god-like combat prowess that Shou had to seal his city gates in fear lubu truly was a powerhouse of a human being after he made his escape Lulu fled ni a commander II under the control of Jiang Yan you enshou order for his men to pursue lubu and kill him before he reached his destination but the would-be assassins were far too scared to even approach lulu and failed once again to kill her lulu and xingyang hit it off pretty well lu Boutrous jingyang so much that leads yet and gosu the men who took chain gang from lubu bribe jingyang to use his close friendship with lubu to betray and kill him lu boo who at this point had become pretty good at figuring out that people were plotting to kill him found out about Jennings plan to kill him and said to him I am from the same province as you if you kill me you'll become weaker but if you recruit me you can obtain the same honors and titles Li Jian gosu jingyang agreed to help lubu and proceeded to pretend that he would partake in the plot to have him killed but secretly offered him shelter instead it wasn't long before Li Jie and goes to learn that Shang yang had double-crossed them they became so fearful of retribution from lubu that they had to issue an in peel decree in the Emperor's name which appointed lubu as the administrator of the wang xuan commander II now I should mention that these series of events are up for interpretation though the story doesn't change all that much in the Sango ji went something like un Chu to un Chao to zheng yang but in the whole ham shoe it went UN chu to you and Xiao to jingyang back to you enshou back to Shang yang and along the way some point Lulu would meet with a man named Jing Chen Li Yue where he would swear a pact a friendship with him this friendship would lead to the deaths of a lot of people but that'll have to wait until the next episode of this two-part story where we finally get to meet one of the greatest strategist of the three kingdoms in Han Dynasty era so until next time side shin goodbye until we meet again
