High Tech UK Hotel Review!! | Yotel London Clerkenwell!!

[Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] do [Music] everyone welcome back to another video with stays with matt and kim today we have another hotel review for you it's a hotel called yotel in london and i hope you enjoy it we are staying in the premium queen room we originally was going to be one of their more basic standard rooms but my babes got the hook up and you know they upgraded us to the premium queen room so anyway um i'm gonna make a star make sure you like comment subscribe and share and keep watching the video so um to my right this is my right yeah we have a little area which is for kind of um the ironing board and i think the irons in that bag and this is a nice little area which we've used to store our shoes as well so you know that came in handy and then up here i think is there yeah this is the airbag for the hairdryer so again another little handy thing i like the fact that it's in a bag so it keeps it kind of nice and protected away from dust or anything like that um and remember this is kind of a small room so it's a really different type of hotel so yeah and then also which is weird and different we have the sink literally right here so [Music] this is a sink area where you kind of do your face wash your hands all of that jazz and of course it comes with a really nice body lotion and really nice handling cream cleanser which is really nice typically in hotels you get those really you know what i mean babe those really small tiny ones yeah i know what you mean but in here they're giving you a whole big thing and then you've got your tissue box some towels i think these are yeah mainly hand towels for because it's a sink area and then you've got some cups to rinse your mouth and yeah and then there's a ledge where you can keep your toiletries so let me show you that part and then um they've got really cool bin different type of shape um [Music] but yeah standing spin but then if you follow me back this way we're just gonna go backwards just a little bit just a minute we've got got a shower shower this is where the shower is and it's just literally a shower on the side but again it's a nice spacious sarah actually we haven't i haven't really opened it but yeah i didn't know how big it was but this is the shower um and squeeze past you quite a good size yeah and then um yeah in here it's really easy how to navigate it this is your temperature and this is what you press to decide if you want rainfall or the normal shower so let babe zoom in on that and then you've got a really nice um hand and body cleanser shampoo hair conditioner i mean for my hair type can't be using just any shampoo and conditioner but it's really nice if your hair can handle that and um yeah i think it's really nice that they've got it in pumps i mean would it be nice to feel smaller so i could take it home for a little souvenir you know you know but it's all right too bad oh well so let me just hop out of the shower and close this so we've got another secret door and five points for who can guess what's behind here what'd you think put in the comment section what you think is behind this door is probably very obvious but i'll fold the fridge [Laughter] here is the toilet literally just the toilet by itself which is really really different um and that's where they put the towels which they provide for us um the toilet i'm not gonna lift it open because if you want to see that but i do love the fact that it's really like thin yeah right yeah and it's nice and private like because if he needs to like if um matthew needs to like be in the shower he's not going to be disturbed by meaning in a week you know i mean yeah so it's kind of cool actually that's done that way um loving the layout of this hotel so far so right now now for the moment of truth where you get to see like the bed area so i'm just going to let matthew do a nice little little spin slow spin so you can see it and here's the bed area woohoo so um i haven't really explored many features of this room just yet but let me show you some stuff so don't mind our um fernando's yeah hot food yeah if you watch our blog you'll watch our vlog in the next video of like our weekend together you'll see why we've got nando's back here but anyway this is a nice like this is what we would use as a wardrobe actually um because it's kind of like a mini room type hotel thing this is basically your wardrobe you've got you give them two hangers two or three hangers that's about it and um this is where you can rest well one of our viewers said that some of these things are used for like resting suitcase and stuff but i guess you could also put your clothes on here um and then in here wrong side india is a mini fridge so small mini fridge to be fair that you get in hotel oh god can't open the fridge other side oh oops shambles here's the um fridge standard fridge um good size is what it is and um i forgot to mention in the beginning of the video that we're staying here for one night because we literally booked it just so we could do this for you guys so if you guys are special so make sure you make sure you watch and tune in um and then i'm going to say this bit till last because it's exciting and then um if you follow me this way don't mind our luggage remember it's a small room so there's a place to put it um this is really cool like makeshift desk area which is really different so instead of you having a big old table that takes up space in the room your table pulls out here so you can eat here go on your laptop here like if we were staying here longer needed to edit we would do it here um and for me i could probably put makeup on here i don't know but it's nice and handy to have a little table and an area to rest stop on um but primarily i think it's for eating yeah yeah i was gonna say like don't do the most in there and then the rest of the space is just your space um i think it's all just draw space isn't it babe yeah yeah oh oh safe good job i opened it here's a safe never seen a safe like that before don't know how to open it i don't want to break it but that's the same just leave it please oh what's that yeah right the side this yeah is that a table shut up it's a chair for the table oh so here's the chair for the table i guess it kind of goes out like this oh my gosh this hotel needs to stop so maybe one of us could sit on the bed one of us could use a chair and i'm guessing you put well you just put the chair you put the chair kind of like in front of this thing like that and you do your wait wait yeah hey like this yeah you got there in the end but there we go all right now follow me we're going back on this side so as you see the bed is very different so it's like you know when you want to watch tv it's up but uh huh look at this look at this come closer come closer there's buttons on the side of the bed the bed moves it's a moving bed so this is a very high tech japanese inspired hotel um so how it works you press the down button the bed goes down because obviously it's time to sleep at that point yeah i'm not going to do all the way down because we'd be here for like all day but yeah and if you want to watch tv and sit up press the up button and it goes back up so cool that made me so happy made me so happy and then wait for it another feature so here's a remote but it's exciting so you can press the buttons and this remote basically manages the lights around the tv so i don't know if you saw it before but the tv actually has led lights around it so if i wanted to change the color i just press around the circle and it changes color nice so cool exactly the mood the nice mood lighting i don't know what the rest of the buttons do one of the buttons it turns off the lighting so if you want the lights off you just press it and the lights go off if you want the lights back on you press the other button and let's go back on there we go i'm gonna put this down um and then another thing is a bottle opener they thought of everything in this hotel i swear there's a bottle opener here and yes if you want to bring your in here you can you can do and then i didn't show you this and it's probably not as important as the rest of the video but you've got your coat hangers which is really good so you've got i really like that there's a lot of storage space here even though it's small like you've got tower hangers you've got like a mini wardrobe you've got a place where the ironing board goes but you can also put your shoes and stuff in there as well so i think they really maximized the space really well um and then the mirror oh my gosh i didn't even realize it was this big there's matthew yay yeah there he is but um yeah and then a nice big mirror so i can actually see what i like look like sometimes you've got like over the bed mirrors and you're like you can't even really see through it that much but i can actually see properly like oh i look good or no i don't but then of course you've got um a normal mirror because obviously you need a normal mirror to make sure you look fabulous from head to toe just saying um so yeah and then um this is more matthew's remit but you've got i don't understand these things ever but you've got the thing that manages the fan and heating maybe you can talk about that bit um just your standard aircon yes fan speed uh something maybe like let me see sun i'm gonna go with the too much detail but i think that's temperature part of it i think this is a temperature oh maybe oh okay so we don't know what that how it works but matthew newport that i did so that's what it is um and then this mirror here nearly forgot by the sink how does it oh there you go you press that knob and that's also got lights around it too so it's a very high-tech kind of type of hotel i think they're starting so basically the hotel they have this hotel in japan or in asia um i don't want to like generalize because i don't know where they have in asia but they have in asia and some of them are actually way more advanced than even this one so you've got one in where is it babe singapore singapore yeah yeah where it's like you have robots deliver your room service so anything you need like a robot gadget thing will come up to your room and do for you as opposed to people um i'm like a bit about tech like i think that's really cool and i'd love to see it and experience it but at the same time people need work people need jobs and that kind of lessens the amount of jobs people can have but no let's see but yeah so i think for london though for britain who is kind of behind asia in the tech space i think they've done pretty well with the hotel here um and maybe this is just the start for yotel in london maybe they will branch into robots and stuff like that let's see you never know let's see but um yeah i think i've showed everything i'm an eye babe yes everything that is everything we've obviously got the blinds you can do standard blinds and blackout blinds so i just want to say a huge thank you for watching this video i hope you enjoyed it this is a different hotel for us so i hope we've spiced up
