Hermitcraft 7 | Ep 089: HCBBS, Impulse Buys & Among Us in Minecraft!

what's going on everyone my name is impulse and welcome back to hermitcraft yes you saw a wild green behind me on the intro there and that is because we are working on finishing up finally finishing completely the hc vbs you guys know what this is all about we've been chipping away at this the last few episodes and yeah it's it's about done green has done a lot of work on this to make sure that the music is gonna line up with the ride ending and there's goodies in there we've been packing some shulker boxes along the track that have a ton of good stuff and some not so good stuff just randomized and i am going to finish off the end or the exit i should say right here because as they come out i mentioned this before i kind of want impulse buys to be right here waiting for them so we can sell some goodies and i think what i'm going to do is basically do the same thing green did here except put you know impulse it a little bit you know make it black and yellow so that they know it's my stuff we're gonna move this obviously over somehow we've still been making some sales even though it's stuck in the ground here but we're gonna move that over as well and i'm gonna add some new stuff to the mix but later we'll show you exactly how this all turned out now that it's complete maybe go on a test ride later and show you some of the goodies inside the choker boxes but i'm gonna uh i'm gonna grab some barrels and get this set up straight away so it's looking fancy as the people exit the ride with all their newfound goodies they can buy even more if they if they're disappointed in what they grabbed and now we have it as you get off the ride here you can see it right in front of you before you head out impulse buy stand is now set up and yeah like i said i was going to put a little bit of my branding in there so they know this is my stuff but i didn't want it to be too overbearing you know the yellow and black don't really fit the style of the barge of course so we just kind of snuck it in there that looks good though now you know green had set this one up and i wanted to kind of mimic it just so it kind of looks uniform but that does mean we need to find four more things to sell here because we only had the four prismarine goodies going on our guardian goodies is what it was called before so now if we add four more things this will truly be impulse buys and i need to figure out what to put there now obviously i did an ice farm recently and i think i could probably sell ice pretty cheap etho might not be happy with it but that's all right but we do need to go in here because i don't want to sell anything green is already selling and he sells just about he sells just about everything in here so yeah of course we're not going to stomp on his business as we are barge co partners and um yeah i need to figure out what i can sell even upstairs he has stuff this is crazy just so much stuff going on i think this is mostly just like yeah building materials granite terracottas and stone and things like that so yeah i don't need to sell that necessarily but we need to go figure it out i've built a lot of farms this season i need to figure out what would people actually be interested in that he doesn't already sell here in the barge all right i've been staring at the board of farms we've done this season for a few minutes now and i think i finally identified some things that aren't really being sold or that we could sell for cheaper and i'm gonna target ice of course i mentioned that we're going to undercut etho sorry etho and i think we're going to do snow as well people might want to buy snow blocks so those two are pretty obvious now the other ones not so much slime i think iskall was selling slime earlier in the season if i remember right but i don't know if he's kept it stocked so we're gonna take a look at that and see if we have a market for slime because we have plenty of slime with our slime farm there coming through being loaded into shulker boxes over there somewhere there it is and we should be good on that also we built an amazing double blaze spawner farm earlier in the season which produced a ton of blaze rods and i don't think anybody's selling blaze rods i don't know that there's much market for them but it is kind of cool because you know we have them so i think that's what i'm gonna go with everything else was just kind of already done a color complete took care of a lot of this stuff you know like the wither roses we've already got lamps plus so the skulls aren't really a thing yeah everything else is pretty much done so let's target those i'm gonna go ahead and gather some stuff up we're gonna sell some blaze rods some snow some ice i think i'm gonna sell all kinds of ice blue ice packed ice maybe even regular ice i don't know how i'm gonna do that with the pricing but let's go ahead and see what we can do let's gather some stuff and let's put it for sale okay been grinding away getting some materials together to sell and i realized something as i was doing this we don't have enough stuff i am out of slime i empty the entire system and this is all we got i want to craft them into slime blocks i want to sell blocks not slime balls i think that's how we're going to get ahead of our competition on this and the blaze rods uh i don't have enough of i guess i didn't do a lot of afk at my farm but also i realized something else i i don't even know where my blaze farm is i can't find coordinates anywhere and i have no clue i might have to ask azuma he did the work on the interior of it i would have to ask him if he has the coordinates i hope i can find it oh my gosh i think i actually found it i was just flying around the nether in the direction i thought it might be and this looks like something i would do right hole in the bedrock and then we got this like kind of torch arrow happening here to tell us that we need to head back that way and just a little bit that way to get back to our base so let's go down here and hopefully this is it uh yeah i think azuma might have put in these stairs and this should if we are lucky head right down to the double blaze farm uh we got a fortress that's a good sign and yes good there it is perfect i'm kind of hoping there's just blaze rods waiting for us so we don't have to afk but it looks like not so okay i brought my sword nothing odd going on here it still says oh that reminds me you guys have been on me for a long time now that we need to get netherrite tools going again we've got our armor but not the tools so maybe we take care of that today too let's make sure this has mending looting three sweeping edge perfect that should do it and we can belly up here i guess we're gonna be swiping away at some blaze for a little bit [Music] after a little bit of grinding we have it blaze rods extra blaze rods also crafted a bunch of slime blocks here we go different kinds of ice we've got regular ice packed ice and blue ice i need to rename the shulker box maybe and snow blocks as well have all been crafted ready to go so i'm gonna bring these over to the shop and now kind of the difficult part is we need to decide how much we're actually selling these for so i might have to do a little bit of market research and see because i know etho is selling ice i don't know if he's selling snow so i want to see how much he's selling that for so we can kind of undercut it a little bit see if we can get some business also i believe iskall is selling slime so let's go into iskall's shop first and let's see i got a feeling this one's gonna be easy to undercut for a few reasons we have one diamond per stack and um yeah he was just selling slime balls what if we do one diamond per stack of slime blocks i think oh my gosh oh we should have got in on this early look how many diamonds he has just waiting for him and then of course we have ethos shop right down the street here so before we go into ethos shop we have to observe a couple of the rules that etho has take your shoes off it's a canadian custom and yeah of course you know we're gonna respect that all right let's go on in here and see so he's actually split up his chest here snow is just one diamond per stack so i could do one diamond per two stacks oh i like how he's done this he actually renamed the chest up there so you can see the price while you're in it that is super smart and then he split up the blue ice's four diamonds so maybe we could do i don't know blue ice is less half that two diamonds per stack of blue ice and then regular ice oh no packed ice one diamond per stack and then ice we could do one diamond per two stacks i suppose definitely gonna steal this trick though okay that's enough market research for me let's go back i i guess the blaze rods we'll just sell a diamond for a stack i don't even know if those have a market but let's get these stocked up in the impulse buys section of the bargeco oh yeah this looks so good we've got everything stocked up and labeled one diamond per stack and also in here as well got all this for sale finally now the one thing that was a bit tough was the ice because we had three different sails in here so i basically said look inside the chest and here's kind of the problem i guess if they take this one that's the only one that actually says it's one diamond for two stacks one diamond per stack and two diamonds per stack maybe a little bit confusing but oh well i'll kind of explain that to the hermits maybe in discord or something one diamond for two stacks on the snow so we have basically under cut everybody's selling these things which is perfectly good i'm okay with it you know hopefully we get some sales and let me see i haven't even checked these oh there we go look we're still getting sales on these since we put them up which is amazing so that is done and i am excited everyone because it is time finally you guys know tango has been working on uh just a small little mini game inside of minecraft called among us which is crazy feat of redstone genius and it's finally ready to play and i am gonna head over there he found a few people to play with us and i'm gonna go head over to his game in the gaming district and we're gonna get some sessions of among us we played for a while so i'm guaranteeing you you'll probably see something if you've already seen tango's video you're going to see something different in mind because there's a lot of sessions that we uh we played so i'll be trying trying to make sure you guys see some different games that you saw maybe in tango's video or anybody else if they've released before me but uh yeah let's head over there now i forgot to go there we gotta go through the nether hub i think it's probably the easiest way what do we have here i came up out of my vase and there's all sorts of carpet leading to places and some sort of shrine of sorts workstation uh roof mapping somebody's working on roof mapping i think i heard joe hills talking about this project okay to-do list he's doing stuff here oh look at this this is cool this says to impulse his vase continue to is called uh gold farm i'll also can get to my ice fortress from here and mumbo's gold farm all sorts of stuff my guardian farm tango and my wool farm oh mumbo's piglin okay okay this is really cool plate oh i needed that sign earlier does it really go all the way wow joe's been busy since i was at the blaze farm earlier he did this since i've been there that was like yesterday not bad pretty cool goes off into that direction where my hogland farm is all sorts of stuff all right this is great the roof is getting mapped out so someday when the world download goes you know for you all to be able to download yourself and get on here and and play you guys can come up to the nether ceiling and actually figure out where stuff goes as i say that though um let's see is this marked because i think yes that's where we need to go mini game district let's go play some among us all right everybody who's looking sus are you ready [Music] finally after what feels like 400 months of development we're ready to give this a try here a little among us in survival minecraft who's ready yeah yeah yeah i'm ready for the occasion uh yeah so i spent like the last hour giving you guys all how to play and we're not going to go through all that now but i think you all know enough to give it a shot i hope you see how it goes figured out yeah we'll figure it out as we go um are we ready does everyone have see in the distance down the mines okay so how did i get to the button first because i stopped i stopped to pass off the intel to zed right zen you did run say something as you ran past me i was very confused the whole time yeah would have been very important there yeah what did i say zed all right green green it's impulse green you got to trust me no i think i trust the agree in here i i ran i thing you know though surely right because you saw another person okay here's here's the weird thing he did the whole two past imposters look up and i looked around the room and nobody had their head up other than me oh so it may be broken and i was the only imposter but i think we might as well let him play yeah i didn't want to say anything just in case like whoever the other imposter was didn't look up on accident or something good good we need to make a hay bale [Laughter] i can't do this one because it wouldn't give me a bone uh ether what task you on can you tell me good but is it ether it's gotta be yeah way of playing tango you know that i hate getting called out on task so i'm not answering out of respect for that here we are oh man okay so i'm pretty sure it's etho nobody died no nope nope nope korean was doing a legit task i may have insider information but it was a task he was doing so there's no way he could have faked it tango quick question yeah can can people have the same task as each other yes okay i got nothing then voting black you were gonna try to throw me under the bus whoa oh you guys are making green what do you think about etho if it was me you guys would be dead already i haven't seen i haven't seen ether do a single task i haven't either i've seen him walk around i saw him do the snowball throw i'm doing the pumpkin pie task okay are you half seconds imposters okay scar scar hanging out with b-dubs oh yeah at the beginning i watched him throw the targets um i have some suspicions i'd like to bring forward to the group here scores okay so i noticed that everyone was holding a book you know doing their tasks around but one man you put that away but one man and that was corrales he had an empty hand and i feel all my left to the dungeon all right because i was about to do some some bone task or whatnot how was how was i supposed to know a bone task right so i had a bone task and then i found a dead body but before i saw not scar voting's overwhelming whiteboard what happened does that mean no one no one got voted fly by all right i trust he was flipping through the board no no no okay okay i can do my i can still do my task okay i still got the phone i'm glad i have extra paper [Laughter] boom and boom and paper refill done okay oh i got this one this one's fun gentlemen i was in an emergency meeting here i'm called for a delicate matter a matter of betrayal amongst our group and that is the zeta i saw him holding and i think that wood could only be a crossbow do you have anything to say for yourself i i think you may deliver the pumpkin to the frost cave oh there's two of these they had the test mixed up no okay pumpkin from the farm and then deliver to the frost cave i'll i'll do these tests why not why not if looks like we just do a pumpkin in here and then boom frosty's friend okay perfect okay another pumpkin in here boom aha we did all the tests okay fuel the fire last one i gotta do kitchen needs logs for the ovens pick up a log from the forest deliver the log to the kitchen all right we gotta go to the forest pick up a log okay this is where we do it and these tasks are so good tango's a genius all right and deliver to the kitchen and if i'm right the kitchen is uh through the library yes here okay excellent response it's a log boom boom and dip and our tasks are done you missed um did i miss a meeting what happened scar got voted off the island nice okay neat i don't know if i'm gonna get called back to the next meeting now though he's it is he hit impulse yeah i made it i made it back quick say something hi that's what happened uh sorry i can't get to the meeting okay okay say what happened is that if was doing a lot of fishing and corrales was being suss that's all that's all i know that's all you've got yeah yeah no i just i'm almost on my way i want to fix my ender pearls is what i really wanted okay did you did you hit did you report ethos death or did you do a meeting emergency meeting okay so we got nothing i got nothing no i was on my way to the pumpkin farm just to grab a pumpkin for this not for the snowmans [Music] salmon salmon is all i have you've been scar was totally telling the truth i just want to point out if you were all baseball players you'd all be benched because your batting average on me is horrendous scar was fishing all the time i think there's something sounds like one where people who are voted off are not counted against so that's why you guys had to kill extra people the game should have been over a while i guess do a few issues i was fishing with you when i when i sniped etho from long range you should have called an emergency meeting and just said i saw ether explode i was about to and then someone else immediately called one like come together and try it i thought i thought zedf killed me there no dude i shot you from across the board yeah i have no idea where i think from uh so instead of you were an imposter right i wasn't in touch with that um there was nothing i could do because i already used my emergency meeting yeah i had figured out that it was over for you yeah so i just needed to go and reload and then i was on the hunt but you wouldn't hold still hold my hand i was like man i want to kill anything i was bombing and weaving man dodging all the arrows that was just an incredible experience you guys know i love me some among us and what a feat for tango to pull it off in minecraft survival no command blocks all redstone yeah there was a few technical glitches but it was still so much fun i did promise you earlier in the video that we would ride through the hcbs but we are out of time unfortunately so instead i'm gonna suggest you go watch scars latest video because he actually did oh by the way you like my outfit scar actually did ride through the hcbbs and yeah you guys should check it out so i'll put a link on screen and in the description if you didn't see that yet he had a really
