Here's Why Playing Games at Work is Important

hey this is Drew Harden and I wanted to show you something kind of cool I have all these drawings created by the team members here at Blue compass and the reason I have all of these is because I went around and wrote a random sentence on a piece of paper put it on everyone's desk and if they wanted to they could draw an image that Illustrated that sentence we did that because we're playing a game of Pictionary here in our team meeting today so at Blue Compass we have regular team meetings everyone participates in and we share news and updates we do a show in tell we do shout outs for one another but one of the things we always try to do is something really fun I'm going to take these images and put them up in slides we'll go through these and then try to guess what each of the sentences are as a team this is a really fun way to laugh at ourselves and enjoy some of this artwork that people have created and the reason we do this is we want people to bond with one another one of the best ways to build relationships in the office is to bond with one another and one of the best ways to bond with one another is to have fun together so I really think the best leaders the best managers don't just allow fun they cause it so I encourage you I know something like this might seem a little weird and out of the ordinary and you feel like your team members might think this is odd but I guarantee you they'll love something like this a lot more than you think you'll have a lot of laughs and it'll allow you guys to bond together let's take a look B is in the mood for biscuits oh
