Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I'm guessing this is old news to a lot of folks, but a comment by /u/CockBlogger in the thread about Herbie's 75th birthday led me to their excellent blog about Herbie's compositions, which in turn links to this video in the most recent post. I hadn't heard about Herbie doing these lectures at the time - they're from 2014 - so I figured others might have missed out as well, and may be interested in hearing the man speak about music and life. I've only listened to the first installment so far, but I'm hooked. He's just such a fascinating, insightful, erudite human being.
This post links to the first video in the series; here's a playlist of all of them: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLylOguYv-9_lD6YkeikcKq-pkrg9iV68R
