Her Last Trip, let’s make it COUNT! New Smyrna Fishing!

[Music] so [Music] hey guys welcome back to the salty strikes fishing channel i'm chris this is kim this is lily and little lace is down there and uh today uh we're going to start this out by uh i've been fishing yesterday by myself real early in the morning i've been wanting to do this for a long time i just never found time to do it and it's just getting up real early but uh i wanted to hit the jetties like before the sun came up and uh just see what i can get into and this is kind of how that went yesterday if you're ever coming out here when it's dark be very careful guys there's a lot of buoys out here that are not lit or have really any reflective material left on them so just be real careful guys hopefully i got enough light here that you guys can catch all the action so let's get to it just taking about a i think a four out circle hook picking up a mullet hooked up what do we got oh it might be a slot redfish here oh that might be a slot yeah he's way too big 39 and a half i'm sorry excuse me 29 and a half uh redfish it's pretty look at that tail all right so let this guy go back oh there he goes well guys i you know i got hooked up on a nice redfish that was kind of fun um you know then the sun came up and uh the armada the ponce inlet armada showed up and so i left and it was like uh slack tied so i you know didn't do much more a whole lot more fishing that day and it was kind of slow bite so i just kind of wrapped things up and uh i know like kim's gonna be out for about five to six months here and we were able to squeeze one more fishing day in so uh we know we took her out we got on the water early and she got on some fish and i think she was pretty happy with what she got today um you know we we did have one little bummer but uh you'll have to check that out um so stick around and uh let's see what's going on there's a outgoing tides about an hour and a half before it goes slack and we're trying to hit that and uh hopefully we can get in hook hook up just have about a five out circle hook um on the mullet you know don't hook him too far back because the brain's right behind there kim's hooked up oh man there you go baby it wasn't she went in the water but just a couple seconds sounds like you got him good all right when you get closer start backing up that didn't take long you got them babies what you got didn't see him yet oh there you go nice red pick him up there we go hey oh man these have been so close lately we haven't got a slot in quite a while thank you i mean he's like golden too oh kimber no this guy's like 28 just an inch over let's get it back in here quick all right he's gone down all right let's get hooked back up and get back out there let's make this last trip a good one well that last trip forever just last trip for about five or six months there we go hooked up oh can you roll up that free line it's a good one yeah that's fine just put it over there somewhere you can let it dangle on the water keep them alive what we got here early bite is on today pulling this way trying to anyway another probably over slot red right in the corner of the mat yeah he's way too big yeah another nice red cool there you go back in the water as quick as i can 35 35-inch redfish let's get him back in there don't be a floater there he goes all right man two up let's see if we get some more let's get kimber back in the water there you go bring that hook out we'll fish with it camber's hooked up again and we are bite's on fire today sometimes it's croakers sometimes it's mullet come around here if you have to or you got him good job baby good job man canvas oh nope right you pull got him man these guys are feisty today too holy crap yeah this one's 30 inches come here 30 inch second fish of the against the fish of the day man man he just was ready to go man something was chewing this guy up well guys it seems like early bird catches the worm uh we got on three nice uh redfish right off the bat hopefully you guys enjoyed a lot of that action that we're having a great time what are you guys doing the sleepies there we go got something what do we got oh is that a blue or a lady which way is he running right into my line there oh here we go we got him what do we got oh lost them i think it was a blue look what i got look what i caught yeah stone crab yeah yeah bye buddy come here you're ready [Music] well we ran out of the bait kind of fast and it's slack tied so we got lily running around the island trying to wear herself out and uh i see a little bit of bait fish going around so i'll try to get a couple got probably about a little over a dozen now it's got to carry the bucket a little ways stop them from jumping out just take your cast net and just lay right over top of it well guys we've got some more bait and uh you know put two a bullet on the bottom and see what this uh incoming tires can give us kim's on good one let me get this out of your way get him babies get him get him you got him you got them babies you got them remember start backing up when you get you get inside the boat [Music] oh man i'm gonna have to bleep that out yeah oh it was a big one straightened out the hook well i hope you guys enjoyed that salty strikes uh fishing adventure uh kim and i had a great time today we got on some fish you know pretty quick and early um and it was just a bummer she lost that last one uh but you know we just used a little two you know we had to bump down the size of the hook uh because the bait reason was you know the the malt was much smaller and probably should have just loosened that drag up a little bit but you know stuff happens you go with the flow we had a good time it was a great to get back out all right guys don't forget to subscribe and hit that thumbs up we
