Her FIRST Oil Change! Fiat Doblo Micro Camper

today I'm gonna change the oil in our van for the first time in my life normally I'm doing oil changes but we thought it would mix up today and have a bit of fun with Justina so yeah just for fun because why not after six months just now on the road for winter and a lot of kilometers it is time for an oil change so let's do it hopefully I will not have the van okay first thing are you ready we the front there's three bolts and there's more comfortable if you're laying down now yeah oh that's how big is fear yeah it's not it's not even off the floor get nice and comfy your first three bolts are here just just stay on the phone sign that oh good is it going good though yeah [Music] yeah I should have some glasses safety glasses sometimes it helps you um one in the middle ah yes two just keep getting the washer from it should be a little bit all right so these ones are a bit more tricky you need to come under but kind of to the side you need your head you need your head like here yeah have a nice position okay yeah and undo it it's already set is it yeah you just need to undo it it's very hot yeah [Music] it's packed forever it's not safe forever [Music] oh my God [Music] like that okay okay stop stop because now you can take this out we need to position this nicely so the oil shoots into it and I would say maybe with your your right hand yeah you need to undo this the bowl remove my hands yeah with the bolt in your hand ideally well this yeah so start undoing it let's do it after twister yeah mm-hmm [Music] for a long time yeah keep going but also keep some pressure on it do it quickly but keep pressure on it pressure like push it yeah a little bit Yeah and then you might feel when it's getting really close to the end oh that's scary [Music] what if I do a Mac huge a couple of weeks and then we would kind of figure out what's next while we're here but something came up yesterday and I actually have to fly to England tomorrow morning so this is our last day together for I'm not really sure how long hopefully not too long um but basically we're gonna have one last night in the van tonight as well we're gonna drive near the airport because we've got a very early flight and we'll stay in the van and then very easy and simple for the morning yeah so sad I got a couple of things there's a couple of things to do to the van but uh yeah the oil change was probably the most important because it might even be that Justine ends up taking the van by itself somewhere and the LPG filler which I did maybe remember I stuck it on with a Pringles can and some sealant basically the last time we got LPG it kind of broke so I just basically you need to make a small bracket to kind of keep it nice and fixed in place I don't really mind if it looks a little bit ugly it just needs to function well there's quite a few things I would like to do to the van but well maybe now I can't so we're just going to stick to the basics for now the carpet is over and now I need to take the samp plug out of of the oil dirty top it might be like summer here oil yeah but it's not I know it is oh my God [Music] okay that Nissan that's just put it to the side for them because we still need it whatever was it [Music] uh oh I should wipe it maybe there's oil on patch on the floor yeah oh do it quickly [Music] where's my tool to my foot tanks okay come on I'll tell you when [Music] that [Music] it's been an attack I will check it's quite quite tight yeah dude that's nuts yeah you don't want to do any more than that okay okay next we have is it time for you right now no no the oil filter normally there is a correct tool for this sometimes I have a correct one so sometimes you can undo it by hand wow wow yeah and then smack it no no smacking yeah yeah and you need to well you need to get a good grip on it and rotate rotate towards your face maybe hang on flip these over yeah see that [Music] like that oh my God that goes straight into my face no not ideal [Music] then you still got that way yeah you need to squeeze them well it's not it's not going good no it doesn't matter it's going off yeah gone it's moving it's moving it's moving yeah okay okay it's not moving much but this is okay all right that's fine we need the tree yeah it will go by hand let me just get you the tray get under it and I do I'm twisting yeah [Music] I'm putting together on the edge of the oil pan okay okay now when you bring it out just tip it so that all doesn't come out all over you you know what I mean yeah no no just tip it back and nothing will come out yeah and you can just pour it turn it over now okay we have a new filter here so you need to take just a little bit of oil and run it on this Rubber seal this yeah foreign [Music] yes [Music] we can do for it what if I would drop her in the oil um just in case take what no he's still dripping just in case because it's closed but they do not help and it's a bit I feel look a bit slower you can do it I believe in you [Music] ideally you wanted to not be oily because you need to do it by your hands so wipe your hands and wipe the filter well like tight by my hands yeah as tight as you can foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] ah okay and now almost just need to clean that like there's all that old oil on it yeah [Music] so here you are all right give it a squirt to get any nice and care for your oil towels dripping in the oh you don't need that in your hand now right [Music] watch out foreign [Music] for you a little bit from this side [Music] okay yeah give it a wipe beautiful it's an awesome good job done yeah hey careful into town all right yeah yep ashes is it is it good yep we're gonna check anyway don't worry [Music] let's see you know this I just know you have to check the oil right yeah yeah okay so where would you put oil in yeah where yeah really yes I guess proud of me okay I need to unscrew that okay there you go okay drop it don't drop it oh Splash on my face yeah sorry yeah put it sideways I recommend [Music] I think you need to hold the funnel okay wow that's easier now look at that nice and golden heck look at the color it's beautiful yeah now the van takes about four and a half liters ish and this is so when you feel like we start getting near that I need to stop and check the level oh yeah that'll be it's 11. foreign [Music] it's all wobbly yeah is there anything on it actually yeah it doesn't look like head yes you can see the layer the shiny layer actually looks good we're gonna start the van it's gonna go down a bit we'll go down it's like half maybe no not from here it's good okay take the funnel out put that back around that's supposed to go [Music] yeah anything coming at the bottom so that yeah this is my head down there oh crap on yes [Music] it just needs to run for like 10 seconds or something yeah let the oil go around a bit that channel all right now we need to check the level oh okay that's very clear now this is usually about one liter of difference between here and the bottom so we need to add about I love that possibly we might have like 100 Mil left you can leave it out and leave that out do you like this kind of video I'm gonna take it again because the van the van is also lifted on the front so our reading's not fully accurate so we'll get it down run the engine again and check it again is it done yeah I didn't break anything yeah what is that to break I don't know I mean not too much stuff can break if I change oil and you're probably having a bad day but in our case we're not um I won't let you put the under tray back on because that is it's a pain that under tray is a pain I kind of got the hang of it now but it's still annoying to do and yeah I'm gonna just check under the van a bit do something with the LPG filler and check the van and we're going to prepare the van for sleeping in it tonight oh mechanic energy um stick till the boxes make look at my nails you dropped the uh plug in the oil yeah you got a cut yeah you had a cup of tea while they're all was draining oh my fingers are dirty yeah but I mean don't you think is yeah what can you think it's a mechanic thing but to the kids out there watching wear protection and wash your hands because oil is not good for your skin okay oh we have to also empty that just on the end of this video I'll show you my little fix for the LPG filler not pretty but fully functional and it's fixed so yeah just made a bracket and made two little holes in the bumper and that is now solid yeah at first I didn't really want to make holes in the vampire but yeah because the screws are a little bit ugly but I think it's fine it's a quick fix see you guys later
