is about you human beings and though the video is a little bit old as you can probably tell if by the length of my hair you remain a very intriguing species to us we have of course been watching you evolve keeping a close eye on things there on planet earth and we are thrilled that you are able to join us now for this occasion as we beam ourselves directly into your mind holes yes it feels good questions in let me tell you what we are going to do today we are going to indulge in a little bit of nostalgia as we take some time to look back over the year 2019 last year which was a lovely lovely year for henge and we will also be hearing from Nam grok and boo who have sent me some recorded messages from their isolation chambers for those of you new to henge there are other members of the band we also have some music videos for you some information concerning a forthcoming album which is a very exciting prospect and we might even give your ear logs a sneaky little pig pig pig pig peek at some of that music but first I'd like to like it take a little look a very oh that we made to celebrate the 50th yes 50th anniversary of your marvelous achievement of sending humans to walk the surface of your Moon and of course bringing them back home alive which is no mean feat and so to celebrate this we went to the moon ourselves to film a performance of the piece of music by henge nobody but people can't say whether it's working or not so I mean it's just yes saddle up this is getting any better to put my hand behind it I don't know if that's I can't say what you could sir summer of 2000 in 19 which was a lovely lovely time for henge and for all that was involved everybody who came to festivals to see us it was such a ferocious deep wonderful time and a particular we have some particular highlights of that wonderful festival season that we'd like to share with you actually and this is a bit of nostalgia for us of course but I would like to say please get in touch give you a little bit of advice for trying to pass the time I'd say pass the time as constructively as possible by making things by making things even if you're not very good at making things drawing pictures even if your pictures are lousy by making music even if you can't play one chord because there are ways to do it and you can be you can express your individuality and your creativity through the question is how long have you been exerting cosmic drawers on what on pitiful humans well I take issue with some of the phraseology that you have used I do not think humans are pitiful sound ways yes I mean we have been in the exerting perhaps is not quite correct what we've been transmitting we've been dreaming out with the the beaming has been you know the some effort goes into it but some kind of exertion so but yes how long are well on human beings this time around five five years and half five and a half earth years very short amount of time really we first landed in Manchester which is part of the north of England which is in the Europe and this is also part of the northern hemisphere of your solar system well yes I mean it's been a long it's been a very very lovely time we've had some success and I will come a little bit later on I'm going to touch on that subject a little bit more about about those kind of matters and and maybe one more question a big one or the small one what are you talking about planets a big question on a small question when I said if you if I can answer the planets smaller planets are better which is the best planet to gig on oh well I mean Earth's gotta be up there gotta be up there I mean we we we had we had some some kind of cult following ons I'll anthea in the Sirius Star System and a thing that was mainly due to the charisma of norm who actually had to leave because he was getting mobbed every day every day I was playing a bit more of a secondary role back then I was playing the bongos and he was singing which we actually ended up swapping because we found that his his yeah his dialect doesn't really translate for humans as well as mine does but yeah but we really came up with it together there I mean it was like it was a duo back then this was before this before we had Drock of course who is the latest member of our band - he's a human and we we picked him up here on earth but when we landed well we met before in the astral realm of course but yeah so yeah and brother goo we rescued him from Venus but that was after after we'd left me and nammed left zile Anthea sir I mean but we had some crazy crazy gigs there I mean if you've ever been to a gig in Bristol times that by I mean times that by even more tentacles you know like there's more tentacles per square inch you know in the mosh pit of a Cylon thean concert than there is in a Brazilian one but Earth has to be very far up there and I think that's enough for the questions and now actually it's time to see what Drock who is a synthesizer in Manchester but due to recent developments we have adapted and we are bringing the fun silliness and most importantly rave into your homes instead so if you like the sound of that kind of stuff you can chew ninh on Friday night that's the Friday coming that's the next one and why not go and follow space cassette on YouTube and Facebook or just follow the concept of a night around your house just go oh there's that concept of that evening I'll follow it into the bathroom Oh No maybe a go into the kitchen maybe that concept is making a sandwich no that's too silly so even though it's high concept stuff you know really yeah we can suggest that you tune into that ok so actually let's breathe a little dab a breath a little deep breath what's you know a deep big breath oh yes that's lovely atmosphere that we're in the Goldilocks zone here so it's quite good so it's time for a little more retrospection I think so oh and this is going back to a point that Rachel was making earlier on over the course of the last few years we have begun to notice some positive effects that may occur during the transmission of cosmic to us human beings seemingly become happier after around a sixty minute exposure to alien music as it were and therefore it was hype the sized that cosmic drawers may actually have a positive effect on the human nervous system and so then we decided that what we need to do was a proper scientific study into this claim and so after the wonderful festival season we had and from October until December we engaged in the cosmic drawers experiment and the following feature will explain a bit more and please if you are watching please do send us some comments if you were involved in the experiment and descenders a bit of feet more feedback so this is a bit more explanation about what that was in the year 2019 scientists became the first major study into the effects of alien music on the human system this was human subjects where exposed to the extraterrestrial frequencies [Music] during this time scientists collected data from 7650 human specimens in 42 locations in the United Kingdom and Europe the results show a clear correlation between exposure to cosmic drugs and a marked increase in happiness level [Music] scientists will now seek to collect more data as hen have arranged to make further transmissions around the globe the cosmic we are able hopefully starting from September but you know we're keeping an eye on the situation okay in relation to the cosmic toss experiment I would like to tell you about tell you people about a lovely art exchange program that we set up for the tour now we had just produced this rather gorgeous comic book in collaboration with some very fine artists as you may be able to see here when I flick through [Music] if you want yes all right you get the idea I mean it was a wonderful a wonderful experience for us too to make this beautiful comic and I've lost a bit there are multiplied trying to read anyway we decided as as we believe that being creative can incite extra happiness in life forms we decided that anyone who brought us a picture piece of their own artwork sculpture whatever they had made they could have a free copy of the thing that we'd made so don't spot ok spoiler alert no it's ok so this addition this is we're calling this episode one because we would like to make four of these in total eat at least because we have such a long story to tell a very long and very detailed story anyway as I was saying we decided anyone who brought us a picture a piece of stunning pieces of art from humans of all ages from microscopic ones to macroscopic ones and it would be my pleasure actually to share just a few of those with you today so this is why when I press here of Spore with of course the lovely what did they call it plasma ball something like that on the top of that's what they call them here on earth I mean wonderful and we also have norm here who's actually playing a drum kit made fly agarics who thought that was possible orders dune ok next one this is a rather lovely piece understated lots of space you see what I mean lovely logo in the middle spaceship planets you get the idea beautiful what a goal just picture what's next ok who is this fella what a handsome hunky one ok this is grukk he's obviously our synthesizer technician who you know about and also incidentally if you very much hear a lot about his story in Episode one of the comic that's not why I've included him though I've included him because for some reason he is very wide wonderfully wide picture there of growth but take a look and just look at the detail the detail on this garment say I don't know where yeah you get the idea there's a blue screen here oh okay well that's just some of the pictures careful of what be careful of the wine I'm always careful with wine Oh what's this Wow is this a very lascivious picture quite seductive rendition of a I presume a female a Greek Yulin and it also has a message of love here from human beings which is a lovely thing to receive let's do another one oh okay this is one of my wives what about this what about this wonderful long picture very slimming design here I wish I wish I wish but anyway wonderful design excellent beard detail and choose the characterization is just bang on absolutely love it EEE V Weber I believe it says down there and okay this one okay or other so the brother GU for the fans of brother GU have been asking for GU you're gonna get a picture of GU now oh wow we're looking even more sad than usual but why is he so sad when he is in a field of beautiful fungi what a lovely picture okay oh and now this one is a riot are you ready for this what a scene what a scene look at all these creatures down here we have a what looks to me like a creature which has one claw like this and the other arm is a tentacle and then there's 1 2 3 4 5 6 so it's got 7 tentacles and one claw this is the amount of creativity that the human species have presented us with which is a wonderful thing and ok so final picture that I'd like to show for you is I'm a wham out there sitting down okay um the last picture that's because I've not been outside actually that's on the show Hey so this lack picture at the last picture I think is are you ready for a cuteness overlord are you ready humans are you ready okay get a load of this here they are look at these two cute ODEs we have mr. happy happy happy happy happy and mister even more happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy and they like to dance and it was in in the spirit of the happiness of these dancing creatures that we would like to tell you a little bit about the next bit so just a while I'll leave that on for now I what wonderful wonderful creativity we presented with and I'd like to say if you'd like to see the whole collection I mean we hope most of them are on there there was some logistical problems involved with decided we had a very good idea I think and we decided that we shall bring these artworks to life yes we shall make an animated music video harnessing the skills of one of the greatest animators of all time Anthony Barker at night and we shall make a music video to one of our songs which features as many scenes and as many characters as we can legitimately make into some kind of story from all these pieces of art and do you know what if you keep sending us those who knows we might be able to put that into our video too and that is brings me on neatly to the next bit which is this is for a
