Helldivers 2 on the Intel Iris Xe Graphics... (Geekom Mini IT13)

hello guys chisp here welcome back to another video in this one my friends I'm going to be testing this Mini PC right here this is the gecom mini it3 with the i7 13700 age in Hell divers 2 so this Mini PC also has 32 GB of ddr4 3200 MHz in dual Channel unfortunately it's not ddr5 so it's going to lose a little bit of performance there on its integrated Graphics Intel Iris XE we're running it with the latest Intel drivers right there as you can see and let's get to the game now I actually spent a long time trying to get inside of this one and we finally managed it my friends we're playing hell divers 2 on Intel XC Graphics right now as you can see getting 20 something FPS inside of the spaceship which is not completely terrible you know I actually played the tutorial at 720p resolution but what's terrible is well aside from the failed to establish network connection which has been happening a lot um is that inside of the maps when you're shooting things around and running around in Worlds and stuff like that it's it doesn't show the correct lighting I think it's bugged in Intel XC Graphics just like Spider-Man remastered was broken on Intel XC Graphics as well I'm still going to test it out like this cuz it's still playable but first I I got to fix the freaking network connection apparently all right 20 something FPS my friends I forgot to show you the settings but it's on the top right anyways and I'm going to show it to you in just a little bit do not worry here we go we're at 1080p native resolution using no ups scalers and the lowest settings possible right here all right with 100% sharpness because I don't like soft things that's what she said all right we're going my friends look at that look at that people are dropping with us as well a lot of them no I don't know this feels like it's taking forever I don't know what's going on please is it loading or something okay there we go finally we're dropping oh what the where did we land okay I just I D tried something like one of these things okay so oh okay right away there are monsters everywhere oh this is terrible for us with 20 FPS especially let's start counting our frames oh my God oh my God all right run away run away so for those of you who don't really know much about this game you might look at this and think oh okay it's just a kind of a different world you know everything is black and dark and foggy but it's not supposed to look like this this is just because of the Intel XC Graphics being bugged out in this game basically and I I installed a couple of drivers as well just to make sure that it wasn't driver related and no it's still the same these are the most recent ones by the way oh my God no I think I'm going to die guys why is this environment so hostile oh my gosh oh my gosh I yet slowed down as well wait maybe we can we can kill these bastards it's only three of them or so like four actually gosh come on it's hard oh four four my let's get out of here oh my goodness okay okay this is very hard my friends I'm going to reload it's especially hard without being able to see much of the world cuz what the hell happened here uh anyways at the very least the game is not stuttering look at that averages at 23 and 1% lows at 20 means that it's extremely consistent that's lovely to see it's a Well optimized title apparently it's just not running great because it's int LXE Graphics obviously I I didn't really expect this to go very well honestly I didn't even think this would launch the game so there's that it's already a win let's try this upscaling thingy on like performance all right oh my God okay leave me alone please there we go okay so we're getting 30 plus now actually yeah touching 40 frames per second that's that's not terrible I thought we'd only get like 30 FPS using these settings so maybe we can actually increase that a little bit here to quality let's see if that looks decent yeah looks okay and it gets like 30ish and if you remember the averages were very similar to the 1% low so if that's the same around this area of the map that means that it will actually stay above 30 FPS most of the time and if it dips from 30 FPS it's only into like the high 20s or so which is not too terrible honestly that's decent for Intel XC Graphics it's only like quality upscaling I don't know what kind of upscaling this is kind of looks like the fsr1 but I'm not really sure if that's it but it doesn't look completely awful what makes it look awful is that lighting which is just not working whatsoever but again the game is still playable even though it doesn't work properly so there's that wow I can't believe that we managed to make it playable without even dropping the resolution to like 720p I mean internally it is 720p but still the native R of the the display right now is 1080p ooh explosive Barrel wait a second I want to check this out big explosion right there beautiful a lot of pixelation on the explosions guys I'm noticing that I've also noticed that in the tutorial part of the game so it could be prettier but again it's slowest settings who cares really okay so I guess we got to find the nest of these guys right here and destroy it cuz at least that's what I gathered from the tutorial not really sure what I'm doing though there's also a map I guess yeah there we go uh maybe we should go in this direction cuz that's where all of them are please oh oh my God I keep pressing M to close the map and it's tab actually okay got to get used to the controls so many bers wait a second what if I throw a grenade right there couple of them actually let's go nice up a little bit further come on come on come on come on come on destroy the B There we go good stuff good stuff so 30 FPS 1% loow once again pretty good and we actually manage to finish the mission which is amazing I did not expect to be able to do that especially without dropping the resolution you know what I should probably have started with like an RTX 4060 or 3060 because that's what most people are going to utilize to play these games I guess uh and yeah this is not really that great for the first impressions right this like my first time actually playing this game outside of the tutorial but hey at least from what I'm playing the game seems to be interesting in terms of like mechanics and shooting and stuff like that if feels good in that regard let's try like 720p native next oh my God we're getting wrecked we're getting wrecked I was changing the settings but all right anyways we're here at 720p native resolution getting pretty similar fps to what we saw previously at 1080p with the quality upscaling do I have grenades I don't have any more grenades oh my God look at that so many so many gosh go I don't have bullets on this anymore uh what is this what interact interact interact no I don't care about the interactions uh we cannot do this wait a second let me reload this okay yeah it's playable seems to be playable at 30 FPS actually you could enjoy the G damn it at 30 frames per second as long as you have something like a gt1030 which should be similar in performance to this or oh we actually respawn okay I didn't know about that I feel a lot safer now all right come on my God throw grenades throw grenades oh you okay die everyone there we go look at that 17 combo nice all right let's just try to finish this off all right no more no more B wait there's one there okay we're good we're good reload let's interact with this now I still hear one of them who cares right let's go are we good 2 minutes uhoh all right I I kind of want to see if we can get like 60 frames per second so I'm going to use like performance upscaler at 720p it gets close but it's it's barely there yeah it it doesn't really touch 60fps yet ah maybe if we look at the sky no not even then this game is so consistent that even when looking at the sky the FPS Don't Change by much what the hell that's that's so interesting and kind of different from every other game out there oh boy oh boy oh boy stop stop come on come on my God got to reload got to reload Al dive into prone oh yeah that was amazing oh my gosh so many you got to be kidding me how am I supposed to do anything gosh go up get up get up let's go throw grenades throw grenades yes oh I got ammo right there start using that ammo you know oh boy no it's fine it's fine it's fine we got this goodbye goodbye melee that bastard yes there we go there we go I think we're good let's heal ourselves it definitely has that FSR 1.0 look by the way here on performance so I really think this is FSR one or maybe it's like igti from their engine or whatever I know that Spider-Man did it for example and this is also a Sony gam so yeah come on come on come on gosh what the hell I almost died because of the door serious there it is my friends we successfully completed a mission alone okay with Intel XC graphics and broken graphics and low FPS but again at least the game doesn't stutter so it's actually quite playable but if you have integrated Graphics at least on the Intel side of things until they don't provide a driver that can actually
